thanks I had seen those but that would be like over a hunderd dolars a table I was hoping to get them for a cheaper price. we are having a each wedding in myrtle beach next year and our reception is going to at the ripleys aquarium so the feathers would be really neat. we are only going to have about 5 tables worth of people since we live in Indiana and most won’t make the trip so I can afford to spend a little more per centerpice but not over $100.
Another good idea for Ebay is to ask the seller if they will set up a listing in their store just for you (a private listing) for just what you need. I do that all the time for buyers.

Mindi, SaveOnCrafts has nice big ones for $4.99 each right now, in white, pale pink and BRIGHT eyeball-popping turquoise — about 20-28″ — not bad, look here and scroll halfway down the page: http://www.save-on-…lytes4.html
It does look like you can get them much cheaper on eBay sometimes tho. (ebay tip sent to subscribers)

Hi Sarah Anne, a few more pics for you.
Check out Snippet & Ink’s Turquoise Opulence board — very damask-y, traditionally elegant … great eye candy!
Then, check out Flowers By Megan’s work for an outdoors aqua blue & black wedding with lots of fresh daisy goodness:
Finally, here’s a sort of deco-ish San Diego black/tiff/white wedding with some good shots of tables in between quite a few shots of guests … it’s hard to see, but the bridesmaids have black sashes, which looks quite nice …
I don’t see anything here not to love! Hope that helps!

Hi Ladies!
Wow! A lot of posts since I last checked the site!
For Lucy:
My sister hasn’t found a bakery that will do the cupcakes yet. She is planning on having friends do most of the tasks at the wedding including photography, flowers, set-up, and take -down, having the garden wedding in her husband to-bes uncles house etc. So I’m pretty sure she is having a friend make the cupcakes too. You can always get your local supermarket bakery to make regular round cupcakes like they would do for a special order birthday party, with the aqua tinted frosting, and then add a little decoration onto the top of each cupcake the day of setting up. I’ve seen them with all kinds of decoration such as initials, charms, sprinkles, little flowers, jewels, candy hearts, or anything that would personalize your cakes to your tastes and/or go with the other decor. Usually you can find these little things in bulk at the craft stores.
Tyra:
Either my sister’s intended, or my husband will be making the cupcake stand. The ones online are so expensive it’s kind of a joke, and you would need several to hold about 150 cupcakes which is how many people my sister is planning on inviting. The guys can go to the hardware store, buy the precut large round wooden plywood disks, and then attach them together with a thick wooden dowel running through the middle of each disk. Both or guys are good with power tools, so this will be an easy fun project for them. It will also be a snap for me to then take them and cover with fabric, or lace, or pretty silver foil paper to make the stand more fancy.
Samantha:
You are welcome! I hope everything works out to be exactly as you had hoped.
Sara:
My sister found the dresses she likes in Aqua from Kohls.com they were actually $41.70 each. Marked down from $69.50 each. They are a shorter length dress in the aqua color, and the brand is (Chaps Sateen Square Neck Dress). If you look at them under “dresses” you can find them. On Clearance now, so if that is what you are looking for you should think about ordering them soon. They also have pretty dresses shown on David’s Bridal.com under the search “pool”. Which is the color that best matched the tiffany blue, or aqua blue that is so popular right now. You could also opt to tie choco sashes around the waist or do choco little jackets over the dresses. I’m pretty sure you can opt for those special touches in the colors you need. You could also do the other way around with the choco dresses, and pool sashes. Most of the dresses you could pair with what they call a Bolero jacket and or the long satin gloves in several different colors. You could also do a “create your look” type of simulation where you piece different lengths and styles for the tops and bottoms of each dress, and then any accessories you want to see how they would all look together. It’s also called “make and match separates”. They have these available for the taffeta tops and bottoms. I checked it out the other day, and it was really helpful on their site. for you the colors that would probably work would be either pool with the truffle (chocolate) accents, or the latte which is a lighter brown. Bridesmaid dresses in each style are available in: #4456, #F12256, F12899, #F11606, and the bolero jacket comes in all three colors. The style number is #F41972 Hope this helps!

Hi All,
I came across this website while looking for ideas for a 75th birthday party for my mother in law. She loves the color blue, and she loves jewelry, so that’s how I came up with the color theme. Do you think it’s okay to use this theme for a 75th birthday? I have b een married for 15 years…… and after looking at all of your pictures and reading your posts, I want to get married again. Didn;t have a lot of money the first time so my wedding was very basic. I hope you don’t mind me looking in for some ideas, and if I come across anything you are looking for, I can let you know!

Hi Lisa!
Those Martini glasses were a big hit with the guests…. and didn’t break the bank! Our guests with allergies really appreciated a “non-floral” centerpiece. Do you think you’ll be using that idea since your future husband likes it too? I found aqua stones in Michaels crafts store, (although the picture isn’t capturing the color perfectly). Here are a few more photos of my bouquet with the aqua touches on my dress, and also our wedding cake. Planning all of it really was so much fun and well worth the outcome…. I almost wish I could do it again!….:?

Hi everyone!
I just had my aqua themed wedding 3 weeks ago. For Lisa and others who are looking for a brighter alternative color that goes lovely with aqua, the last minute I decided to add in hot pink roses and gerbera daisies….and I was sooo happy with the results! My bouquet was a mix of ivory roses, hot pink roses, light blue hydrangea and bright green hydrangea, which all work well together and showed up nicely in the wedding photos against my white gown.

Hi Ladies!
Here are some ideas for the Aqua wedding theme. My sister decided on Hydrangeas for her garden wedding and we found them for a great price at Costco.com floral. Also the light-up crystals in vase I found on a site called Rainsavers.com under aqua centerpiece. They are powdered crystals that puff up inside a vase when you add water. You can also purchase the lighted bases to go under the vase and make the crystals “glow”. This might be a good idea for you Samantha, since you said you were getting married at an aquarium. The last pic is just one that I found surfing the net that I thought looked cool with the aqua chair covers. Hope this helps someone!

Hi Ladies,
My sister is getting married soon and she wanted me to make all the decorations and to be her coordinator. We are having a similar issue with the centerpieces and are doing tons of research to find a combination that we like. She decided that she wanted the base color to be Aqua, and the other white, so the first thing I did was to do a search in google under “aqua wedding” just to see what came up. We had several different ideas for the centerpieces. The first one being a large mason jar (you can get these either at Michaels craft store, or in the canning section of the supermarket)-with pure craft sand in the bottom, and tea lights or votive candles inside with a ribbon wrapped around the top outside rim of the jar and a charm or metal rimmed tag with the couple’s names, and the date. -She’s doing an outside garden wedding so we wanted it to be shabby chic cute, without looking too cheap-o. We also came up with Large vases filled with polished river rocks at the bottom (you can even get these at Home depot) and fill with water and the coordinating flower that you have in your bouquets.-An idea that I’m seeing all over the internet-is to fill the tall vase with water all the way to and inch or two from the rim, submerging the entire flower under the water. This especially works well for large rose buds, and hardy stemmed flowers with thicker petals that won’t fall apart in the water. Yet another idea is to simply fill a fish bowl or glass dish with water and iridescent rocks at the bottom with floating candles of coordinating colors at the top. There are zillions of different types of floating candles out there now, and you could even do different shapes. If you don’t want to do a mirror, you can place a napkin in a coordinating color in the center if the table and put the centerpiece on top. You could use rose petals, confetti, candles or the favors to surround the centerpiece.
If you would like some height to your table, a lot of people lately are using the giant martini glasses that you can get at the craft stores for their centerpieces. You could fill with pebbles, water, flowers, or sand and candles. It’s still unique, quick, and easy and adds elegance to the party. Some people are putting the betas or small goldfish into the martini glasses and glass bowls. There is always an issue when you have fish with drunk guests, or fish poop at the bottom of the bowl etc. If you want to do the fish, you should try a test run in the dish or vase of your choice for the same length of time as you figure your reception to go, and see how the fish hold up.
You could also do pillar candles on a silver tray with rose petals surrounding the bottom of the tray, and mini vases with flowers in front of each guests place setting. I had an idea to fill the vases with “colored water” -as in food coloring applied to the water to make any color you want-with the flowers inside, or candles, or rocks etc.
Another idea is to ditch the vases and water all together and use all different types of votive holders of different heights, you can get these at the dollar stores or craft stores, and fill with the candles in different colors or sizes in the center surrounded by the coordinating color tulle. So that it looks like the candles are “floating” in the tulle. Some people put chocolates in the tulle, or the favors nesting in the tulle. You want to be careful not to put the tulle too close to the candle flame. I hope this helps someone, let me know if you come up with a good combination, and if you can post a picture of it. I would love to see! Thanks!

thank you pam. that does help some.
i do like the idea of the flowers with a ribbon around the vase. and having the ribbon black would be nice, because there would be a lot of the white and pool going on. i really think that silver ribbon would be a bit too much.
my fiance’ and i live near a beach, and this weekend we were planning on combing it to see if we can collect enough shells to use as decor if i happen to change my mind. after all, i have until october 2009 to get this all planned out haha.

Hi Samantha,
i understand your concern! even though my wedding is beach theme…i’m using square glass vases (from Michaels) with sand and flowers but maybe you can use the vases with glass beads in the bottom w/ water along with flowers or the floating candle (roses to be simple or something similar to your or your BM’s boquets) This still may give the look of the aquarium but with the matching colors. You could tie a black satin ribbon around the square vase too. check the picture i attached, i hope you can see it.
hope this helps!

ive picked white and black as my base colors (white is my dress and black are the tuxedos) and im using Pool as an accent color with silver as a sort of a highlight color (mostly concentrating on jewelry and whatnot for that)
im having issues coming up with centerpiece ideas. we are planning on getting married in the aquarium and having the reception there as well. i dont want a theme, but everything that i seem to come up with as far as centerpieces go seem to be leaning towards a beach theme.
i do like the idea of taller rectangular vases filled with water and having a floating candle placed in them, perhaps on top of a mirror. i was thinking about putting blue, light blue, and white glass pieces i found at walmart in the bottom of them.
i toyed around with the fish idea for a while (i would have used my own pet betas, and only would of had them at the table that my future husband and i was at. it would have been only 3 betas at our table and we dont want alcohol, so i wasnt worried about drunk guests harming them) but i figured it was a bit too cliche’ to be surrounded by sharks, fish, seahorses, etc and have fish on the table. so i ditched that idea.
i also like the idea of tall cylindrical vases filled with water and submerging white blooms in them.
help anyone.

Maria and Anyone: Wear do you find the crystal paperweights for the favor boxes??
Lisa - Beautiful dress - love the corset back. I have placed an order on a particular dress and this one is almost identical - with the pick-up bottom and corset back. Your blue trim really pops on this dress!
I have made a firm decision (finally - a decision :”> ) to use tiffany blue, platinum, and crimson (deep, dark, red), with white accents. The colors are stunning together.
As far as bm dresses: I think I am going to check out the irridescent taffeta - I have found a store who carries the line in my city. I am also going to consider platinum in a satin. What color should the men wear with their black tux?
Flowers would be the next issue. Someone suggested using the blood red roses - they are deep dark red.
Orange, lime, and peach are awesome combinations with tiffany blue.
I am attaching a picture of the tiffany blue that I am using.

I thought Seafoam was the right color for the Tiffany Box! Beautiful!
Hi Lisa,
I am getting married July 12th in San Diego and I am doing the tiffany blue with ivory, and a few lime accents. The ivory looks awesome with the blue, I got my bridesmaid dresses at Alfred Angelo. Seafoam is the color closest to a Tiffany box ( I took one of mine there to make sure) the seafoam is almost identical and it looks beautiful with the ivory accent on the mix and match dresses. I am also loving the lime green, I am using a lot of cymbidium orchids which have lime in the flower and on the stems.
Good Luck!

Sorry I’ve been out of touch for a minute..these last minute plans are about to drive me nuts. Sam if you want to try and see the dress color in person you should try to look up a dress shop that sells that type in your area and just see if they have anything in that color for you to look at. Trust me..the pictures on the net don’t do it justice! I saw the color on a different gown and then picked dresses from that line that came in that color. I hope that helps!

I am also having problems with the bridesmaid dresses. I LOVE the color Tyra picked and went to the website and can’t figure out the color. I have been looking around and its an iridescent taffeta. I have decided not to use as much chocolate accents ( actually none) and am going for a very modern icy feel.
Blue would be a great color for some people, however, I don’t think its flattering for heavier bridesmaids. I have seen platinum. Its almost a blackish/ grey and some silvers. I have been thinking of doing that combo.
Let me know if you have any luck.

hi ericka, the lady that’s doing my cake is in london, uk..her website is Carmentarry.co.uk..and if you look under cakes and then real life weddings you’ll see the type of cakes she makes on twinkle lights. On the top of the cake she’s putting a big diamond shape paperwight crystal and i’m going to have little crystal paperweights in my favour boxes.
As for bridesmaids i’m having a 3 year old and then my boy/girl baby twins who will be 1 by the time i have my wedding so looking for their outfits.

I’m sorry Kira, it is Tyra who has the different color dress. You ALL have such beautiful things that I got confused. I just know that all the ideas that you have shared are SUPER nice and I wanted to ask you (named) in particular. I did not intend to offend anyone.
We are going to Davids’s on June 12th. I will am anxious to see the pool up close. Meanwhile I am looking at Impressions, Mori Lee and Alfred Angelo.
I attended a private wedding party in our city tonight by myweddingmafia.com (maybe in your city) and it was great. Beautiful bridesmaids and wedding gowns (models). I saw some nice centerpieces too - with floating candles and single stems in clear square vases - mostly gerber daiseys (live). I will attach a pix tomorrow. The color theme was pink, but worth sharing.
Thank you all again - you are great!

Why don’t you go to david’s bridal they have pool colored dressed. That’s where my bridesmaid got there dresses My wedding colors in a mix of pool and aqua it is very hard to find all of the same color for evertyhing in your wedding. But my centerpieces are with out a doubt aqua but its very very similar to pool it’s not that big of a difference with color though everything else it the color pool.

hello girls! I was wondering if anyone knew that website that sells the tiffany blue stacked boxes and the nesting trays? I had it bookmarked and then my laptop crashed and I lost all my bookmarks and pictures of ideas for my wedding next May. I tried to do a search but I can’t find it or anyplace similar!

for my wedding, the colors are aqua, sand and white…i chose yellow roses because they’re my fave but also because its a spring beach wedding we wanted something bright. We’ve tied in periwinkle hydrangea as well to compliment the aqua, that’s also another fave color of mine. When are you getting married? It may depend on your budget also…white goes with anything! there’s a wide range of white flowers and you can tie in the aqua/black with the ribbon that’s tied around the stems or place crystals or pearls in the boquet to make it stand out a little more. Hope this helps!

Shamika - I love everything that you have done. Are you using the boxes from Main Street as centerpieces? Or something else?
Everyone: How can I get samples of the favor boxes from Sophies on line or Efavormart. Has anyone used Efavormart? Do you like them?

If you have a moment, please repost any image posts. Otherwise, hang tight and we’ll get the others in there as we can!

Hi all! I just found this lovely tiffany blue and lavender wedding, Amy & Mike, shot by Anne Ruthman.
This is such an unusual, dreamy color combo, especially with all those hydrangeas. I love the bride’s glittery cuff bracelets, the groom’s cool sand-colored suit, the violet(!) port-a-potties Then, there’s the precious wedding wagon filled with petals.
Read the great backstory here on Anne’s blog and see ALL the yummy photos here.

Ericka, at first i thought the prices were high, but when they arrived i was very satisfied. He really takes his time with them and they arent wrapped in wrapping paper or anything, its tiffany colore fabric. I honestlyloved the card hbox and the the centerpeices. Also around the centerpieces I am doing fake diamonds ( yourweddingcompany.com) in the 4 carat size. Check that site out. I think I got 800 for $15.00:D

Shamike - I checked the site for the boxes and the price seems unreasonable. Did he work a deal with you or anything?
Ladies -I am too excited as I have just booked the reception site, had a tasting with the caterer and am shopping for a dress. What types of dresses are you all doing? Does anyone like the pick-up style - or does it seem too trendy?
I desperately need table centerpiece ideas. I have read alot of your comments - I know I am doing scattered diamonds on the tables and perhaps live petals with candles. But, what type of candles? What type of centerpiece - the cool boxes or flowers. I like those aqua lights in water/vases, but what goes in the vases.
I have also purchased tiffany and company bags - the smaller ones - but what goes in the bags???? Do you need bags and boxes???? I love the favor boxes and this is where I was headed until I discovered the bags. I already have the bags - so what now??? Please help.
You are a great inspiration - very creative. Blessings to All of You!
blue bride,
Yes, I make favors, I have custom soap in your colors, bath salts itty bitty reed diffusers in organza bags and some 2″ little handmade custom favor bags in my store - (all of these come with free personalized tags and ready to use!)
The timeframe depends on the size of order, but I normally can get favors done within a week, the bags within 2 days. If you need a rush, just ask and I do everything I can to help out too!

Hi Everyone!
I have been lucky enough to work with some of you and was told how to find you!
I hope it’s ok with the site that I put a message in here so you all know how to reach me with questions!
I have an Ebay store (stores.ebay.com/vonlindern-design-studio) and you can reach me at madebyviola@hotmail.com.
I love working directly with brides to help make your designs and ideas come true!
I can color match just about any color and will mail out FREE samples of anything you want to order so you know you are getting what you pay for! I know some Ebay sellers don’t have the best reputation, but I pride myself on mine and believe it shows in what you get!
I handmake all of the items you see in my store which includes: Programs, Table number cards, place cards, menu’s, scalloped placecards, scalloped favor tags, regular favor tags, gift bag and box tags and labels, all kinds of custom personalized Candy wrappers and labels, and just about anything you need printed!
I also make handmade soap, tiny reed diffusers and bath salts for wedding favors.
If you need anything or if I can help you with any questions or ideas, just drop me a line! I will check back here too if it’s ok I am happy to share ideas too!
Thank you so much for those of you who have visited my store too! I have been having alot of fun working with you!
Jenise,
For My centerpiece Im using square vases and putting white roses in them. also, on each side of the vase there will be a different picture of us with aqua or chocolate paper behind the picture as a formatted pic. Understand? each picture will be something different like a kissing photo, silly photo, golfing, etc.
Hope this helps!
Amy - This was tricky for me too! I was very close to just purchasing the largest item Tiffany sells to get a large box but I was lucky enough to eventually find a large size Tiffany & Co. box for sale on Ebay. I think I paid $20 or so for it, but compared to having to buy something at Tiffany’s it was a great deal. I would just keep your eyes peeled but if your wedding is quickly approaching I would start checking Tiffany.com to see if there are any pretty vases you’d be interested in. :-) Good luck Amy!!

CeeCee: I have noticed that alot of people on this site are using the tiffany bags for favors. Of course floral arrangements are always nice for the centerpieces. I am using alor of candles on the tables at the reception and not alot of flowers. Also, the tiffany boxes are nice to use. Go to ioffer.com and search stylebonaza (seller) for the tiffany bags. A girl on this site had a wedding and posted all of her pictures - they are beautiful as well. Scroll through this site and you can read all of her information and see her pictures. Good Luck!

Hi Ericka
The picture is of my actual invite..I had tears when I saw them. The lady that did my invites is Allison with Handmade by Allison http://www.handmadebyallison.com in Annapolis, MD she’s unreal. She created my logo that I then passed on to the lady I found on ebay. I’m sure the lady on ebay could make something similar. Viola is unreal..she just shipped all of my samples favors, table #s etc. so I can make sure the blues match up.
For the BM’s dresses look under Da Vinci bridal/bridesmaids on pg. 18 you will see a dress with the right color..it’s a irrid. taffeta..it picks up many colors. The Da Vinci BM dresses and Impressions BM dresses are the same maker..I think the dresses that I picked are Impressions but available in the taffeta.

listing number 330245165686 50 feathers for $60.00
listing number 360061252598 25 feathers for $49.00
listing number 360057954507 150 feathers for $89.95
Hope that helps!
Viola
thanks I had seen those but that would be like over a hunderd dolars a table I was hoping to get them for a cheaper price. we are having a each wedding in myrtle beach next year and our reception is going to at the ripleys aquarium so the feathers would be really neat. we are only going to have about 5 tables worth of people since we live in Indiana and most won’t make the trip so I can afford to spend a little more per centerpice but not over $100.
Another good idea for Ebay is to ask the seller if they will set up a listing in their store just for you (a private listing) for just what you need. I do that all the time for buyers.
Viola, VonLindern Design Studio
Mindi, SaveOnCrafts has nice big ones for $4.99 each right now, in white, pale pink and BRIGHT eyeball-popping turquoise — about 20-28″ — not bad, look here and scroll halfway down the page:
http://www.save-on-…lytes4.html
It does look like you can get them much cheaper on eBay sometimes tho. (ebay tip sent to subscribers)
Does anyone know where I can find cheap Ostrich feathers for centerpieces wholesale? I have bid on a few on ebay but I get outbid at the last minute and want to find a place to buy them right out I want to do something like the pic above only with the tiffany blue/ turquise feathers on top
More of that stationary
Hi!
I found a bunch of totally cute wedding stationary, photo albums, books, tags, etc at http://www.blissweddingsmarket.com. Here are some of the pics I found.
Nichol did you ever find out where the cute hawaiian couple tags came from? I am curious Blake could you find out where this tag came from? I am interested in those tags as well. Also are the chair sashes on the top with the white flower Aqua or Tiffany Blue?
Mindi I like the Blue and Black but not with white. I think the white throws off the colors. Do you know where the chair shashes were bought from from this particular wedding? I really like them and I am looking for some currently. Thanks.
here is a sample of a blue black and white wedding.
Okay ladies I am just wondering if this would be a good idea- I am wanting to do a Tiffany blue and black wedding and of course white- I think that it would be very pretty- but I am just wondering from an outsiders view what it would look like?! Please give me all the feed back you can I want an unbiased opinion!! That’s why I am here! Thanks for all your help!!
Sorry the picture did not come through. I cant seem to post it. Does anyone know where I can purchase Tiffany Blue chair sashes and dinner napkins? I have seen the aqua ones but I am afraid those don’t match my colors. Please help anyone?
Yes Lisa I live here in Houston. I didn’t want to spend more than $50.00 on the glasses but I need 8 of them so it’s impossible. I already have some round flat fish bowls that I might end up using instead. Here is a picture of what I invisioned.
Ok ladies
My wedding is over [wheeew] and now I have the boxes that are for sale packed and ready to go. Here is a pic
Just email me if you are interested…bsingleton25@aol.com
Hi Elizabeth, Yes I do live here in Houston. The martini glasses that I found at arnies were $10.77. I believe thats right. I also looked them up online and they run between $17 - $19. At arnies they had some smaller ones as well. Do you live here in Houston?
PLEASE HELP! I BOUGHT MY OWN DO IT YOURSELF PROGRAM PAPER KIT BUT AM HAVING A HARD TIME CREATING A TEMPLATE FOR IT. I AM WORRIED BECAUSE I’M NOT THE MOST CREATIVE PERSON AND I KINDA WANT TO LOOK AT DIFFERENT PICS OF PROGRAMS AND COPY AND PASTE. ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD SITE TO GO TO.
Hey Sarah and others that are looking for bridesmaid dresses,
I found a wonderful site that you can make your dress how you want it and they come out amazing!! The “jewel blue” color comes out a bright aqua, the website is http://www.cocomyles.com, check it out!

Hi!
I thought the last pic was a great idea for the guest’s bathroom. It has all the essentials they would normally go around asking for if they needed them and had forgotten to bring. I’m going to make up a basket for the guest bathroom for my sister’s wedding.
More pics all!
Here are some more photos that I found for ideas. Also, more type for the cupcake towers. Hope this helps :D-Connie
Hi Ladies!

I hope you don’t mind me looking in for some ideas, and if I come across anything you are looking for, I can let you know!
okay i am having such a hard time with bridesmaid dresses can someone please help me out!!! :((:(( i want to use Tiff blue and chocolate brown and i get married in october and Man o man can i not find the right kind of dresses for my girls- anyone got any good ideas?
Lisa how much were the Martini glasses and do you live in Houston? I thought Arnies was just here in Houston.
Hi Jolene, We were looking at it right now. He really likes it. We found the martini glasses at arnies. I think its an sawesome idea. I’ll let you know what happens..
Erika what kind of flowers are those inside the bag that are peach. I am using the Tiffany Blue and I am using peach flowers but I have no idea what flowers are peach. I need names so I can sent them to my wedding coordinator who is in Mexico. They have a limited number of flowers so I am having a hard time. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Jolene I love your ideas. Theyre great! My fiance loves your martini glass center piece. Hes mention that a couple of times. Thanks for your help!
Hi Connie,
I posted the picture of that cupcake cake a little bit ago.it’s also the inspiration for my cake. I ordered the stand for to go on and it cost me a fortune. It also took me a long time to find somebody to make the cake. I can ask my baker Clara w/ Clara’s Designer Cakes here in MD if she can recommend someone in the NY area for you. She know a lot of people.
thank you connie! i love the lighted centerpiece idea
Jolene
Hi Connie,
I do not know where u r but i am in New york. I am having a hard time finding someone to do these cupcakes.. do you have someone? please let me know! Thanks!
Oops! Here is the picture of the chair covers I mentioned. The previous last picture was the aqua cupcake example I found, since she picked a cupcake tower instead of a layered cake design.
Hi, I wanted to inquire about the cake that is shown
above. I would like to know who made this cake for you. I showed a couple of bakeries this picture and they told me that they would have problems making this cake for my wedding. Please help! Gotta have this cake! It’s beautiful. email me at chanikakincaid@hotmail.com
Hi Ladies,
My sister is getting married soon and she wanted me to make all the decorations and to be her coordinator.
Hi Samantha,
even though my wedding is beach theme…i’m using square glass vases (from Michaels) with sand and flowers but maybe you can use the vases with glass beads in the bottom w/ water along with flowers or the floating candle (roses to be simple or something similar to your or your BM’s boquets) This still may give the look of the aquarium but with the matching colors. You could tie a black satin ribbon around the square vase too. check the picture i attached, i hope you can see it.
i understand your concern!
hope this helps!
ive picked white and black as my base colors (white is my dress and black are the tuxedos) and im using Pool as an accent color with silver as a sort of a highlight color (mostly concentrating on jewelry and whatnot for that)
im having issues coming up with centerpiece ideas. we are planning on getting married in the aquarium and having the reception there as well. i dont want a theme, but everything that i seem to come up with as far as centerpieces go seem to be leaning towards a beach theme.
i do like the idea of taller rectangular vases filled with water and having a floating candle placed in them, perhaps on top of a mirror. i was thinking about putting blue, light blue, and white glass pieces i found at walmart in the bottom of them.
i toyed around with the fish idea for a while (i would have used my own pet betas, and only would of had them at the table that my future husband and i was at. it would have been only 3 betas at our table and we dont want alcohol, so i wasnt worried about drunk guests harming them) but i figured it was a bit too cliche’ to be surrounded by sharks, fish, seahorses, etc and have fish on the table. so i ditched that idea.
i also like the idea of tall cylindrical vases filled with water and submerging white blooms in them.
help anyone.
does anyone want to sale their tiffany boxes. i have a really small budget and even smaller amount of time. wedding aug 8, 2008 biblical new beginning
The flower petals came from Michael’s.
ericka
where did you get the flower petals in your pictures they are so cute!!
Sorry about the typos in the former posting - typing too fast :”>
Shamika: I thought the same about the box vs. pool. Thanks for your input.
I actually dont know… I wont find out untill I go try on the dress might go friday. Ill see what happens!
Ericka
Hi! THe tiff box color/bag is not the same as davids bridal pool. Tiffany has hints of green in it, but it is semi close to the tiffany green color
There’s only on crystal box and it is authentic from Tiffany and Company. It was presented to me w/my engagement ring. There are faux diamonds scattered in the bottom of the box.
The peach color flower bunch was used as centerpieces on the tables during my surprise getting engaged dinner. It looks great with the blue color.
Do you think this is the same color as David’s “pool?”
Thanks.
Ericka where did you get those clear crystal boxes? Theyre nice.
a few other photos.
:P….. Yay….. Thanks you guys for replying and giving me ideas. Pam, I love the orange. My fiance actually wanted tangerine orange from the start, so I think im going to look into peachy colors, something with orange.
Ericka, for the brdesmaids i havent found a dress yet, but i do know I want them in short ones. As for mine, so far I’ve chosen one form davids #T9168 w/ the pool color. Check it out. have you chosen yours yet?
Lisa: What dress style # have you chosen?
I thought Seafoam was the right color for the Tiffany Box! Beautiful!
Please share the dress
Hi Lisa,
I am getting married July 12th in San Diego and I am doing the tiffany blue with ivory, and a few lime accents.
Good Luck!
Thanks Tyra–
I will definitely look. What is the name of that color??? I LOVE it.
Hey all -
My wedding is August 16th… If i send them out this week do you think its to early
Lisa -
There are so many colors you can choose. You could go with a red, pink, brown, yellow, purple, silver..
I am doing a blue silver and white wedding.
Hi Lisa,
I’m having a destination wedding in FL next May and my colors are aqua, sand and white and i’m accenting with yellow and periwinkle. I know you said they have yellow walls…but periwinkle, or a fuschia pink might be a nice bright color for you! I’ve seen red or a burnt orange work well too… Do you like royal blue or lime green? The knot has pretty good ideas/pictures from real weddings.
Hi, Im pretty new at this….. but I have a question and wish someone could help. I want aqua in my wedding but i need a bright color to combine it with. My first choice was yellow, but the walls in the reception hall are yellow. So any ideas please… By the way my wedding is june 2009….Houston, Tx
Hello Ladies–& Hi Sam!
Hey ladies, My name is Raven and I found this wonderful site by accident…lol… I’m getting married in Sept of 09 but i’m getting things together already as I’m a DIY bride…does anyone have table linens or chair covers that they would like to sell or rent? Hi Ladies,
Do any of you know where i can find a tiffany aqua blue guest book and pen?? i already found everything in that color and style except for the guest book.
Thanks!
Hi Judy I am also a Tiffany blue bride. My wedding is August 23 less than two months. I found my bags at Meijer. They have the small ones for 2/$1.00, medium 3/$2.00 and also the larger ones 1/3.00.
I am using mine for my bridal party gifts and I used glitter glue to write their names on them.
Good luck with your search
Tiffany
Does anyone know where I can get those blue-green shopping bags in the picture above? I can’t find that color and my party is soon. Please help!!!
Judy
Ericka–
These are my bridesmaid’s dresses
This is my cake it’s alot bigger still three tier and the ribbon will be pool/aqua
These are my favors and I have matches also
Ericka
Why don’t you go to david’s bridal they have pool colored dressed. That’s where my bridesmaid got there dresses My wedding colors in a mix of pool and aqua it is very hard to find all of the same color for evertyhing in your wedding. But my centerpieces are with out a doubt aqua but its very very similar to pool it’s not that big of a difference with color though everything else it the color pool.
Ericka
The designer for the bm dresses is Alfred Angelo the color is pool. The girls each got to pick their own dress to show their own style… here are some pix of their dresses:D
I have also seen the website and they have been sold out for months
Shamika: What bridemaids dresses do you have? Can you post a picture? Anyone: Can you post a picture? Is everyone using the blue as the dress color? I know Kira is using a great color and it isn’t blue. I need help.
Thanks, Ladies.
http://www.shrinkbagsandmore.com have the nesting boxes but they are currently out of stock.
hello girls!

Thanks.
hiya girls..i’m from the UK and i’m planning my Tiffany blue wedding for the 30th Nov 08..getting really excited..got almost everything ready just last minute things..the colour theme is the tiffany blue, white and crystals. Have found a lady who is going to make me a 4 tier cake of Tiffany boxes on beds of lights with a diamond paperweight at the top..found the chaircovers..just looking for the favour boxes
for my wedding, the colors are aqua, sand and white…i chose yellow roses because they’re my fave but also because its a spring beach wedding we wanted something bright.
Ericka
Yep! I am using the boxes as centerpieces. Emails sophies and I bet they will send you a sample. If not there is a contact phone # on the website
Kira - I wanted to make sure you said Allison made the invites and Viola made your favors. Is this right?
Shamika - I love everything that you have done. Are you using the boxes from Main Street as centerpieces? Or something else?
Everyone: How can I get samples of the favor boxes from Sophies on line or Efavormart. Has anyone used Efavormart? Do you like them?
Thanks, All.
Can someone help me please? My wedding date is August 16, 2008, I did not send out any save the date cards. So when should i send out the invitations??

Hi ladies … :((
I am so sorry, we just lost the last 24 hours worth of comments. WAH!!!
We should be able to slowly, manually repost most of the regular comments. But if you posted an image in the last 24 hours, that image is lost and we can’t retrieve it. SOOOO SORRY!

I love the bride’s glittery cuff bracelets, the groom’s cool sand-colored suit, the violet(!) port-a-potties
Then, there’s the precious wedding wagon filled with petals.
Read the great backstory here on Anne’s blog and see ALL the yummy photos here.
Do you ever shop at Michael’s? I noticed this week they have pretty simple invitations in-store by all the wedding stuff- styles with white polkadots on an aqua invite or stripes…
I need some tiffany blue rehearsel/dinner invitations.. any ideas girls/????:D
Thanks Shamika! I’m ordering samples
I’m sure i’ll be back with more questions!
Pam
Please check out brightsettings.com I ordered them in aqua. (poleyster) They are fabulous…
I’m trying to find aqua or light aqua table/dinner napkins for my reception. I keep searching online but can’t find ones similar to the picture above (with them folded, in the collage below the chair ties)…I need to find that color & need about 100. Any ideas???
Our wedding & reception are on the beach next May on Anna Maria Island in Florida. Aqua’s our color along with white & sand
Please help!
BLUEBRIDE,
THANKS SO MUCH. MY WEDDING DATE IS 10-18-08. WHEN IS YOURS? I AM BASICALLY DNE WITH EVERYTHING!
Ericka
On the candy buffett normally the favor boxes are empty and they can fill them with their choice of candy:P
Viola
\
Thanks! The big day is 10-18-08 I am basically done, although I havent ordered the invite yet:((
Ericka, at first i thought the prices were high, but when they arrived i was very satisfied.
Does anyone have any tiffany boxes -centerpieces to sell?
Or even favor boxes to sell??
I am having a sweet table along with the cake. What goes on it? Can people use the favor boxes to fill with candy - or should they already be filled?
I am contacting Viola for that square invite that Kira used. SUPER NICE!
Thanks.
Whose wedding is the closest??
Shamika,
Try http://stores.ebay.com/vonLindern-Design-Studio
That should work! Sorry about that.
blue bride,
Yes, I make favors, I have custom soap in your colors, bath salts itty bitty reed diffusers in organza bags and some 2″ little handmade custom favor bags in my store - (all of these come with free personalized tags and ready to use!)
The timeframe depends on the size of order, but I normally can get favors done within a week, the bags within 2 days. If you need a rush, just ask and I do everything I can to help out too!
thanks
Viola
Shamika,
Great looking stuff you have! When is the wedding date?
Viola,
Do you do favors or bags and how fast can you ship them
Viola
Thanks for the info, although your page on ebay didnt show up:(
Hi Everyone!

I am happy to share ideas too!

Jenise,
For My centerpiece Im using square vases and putting white roses in them. also, on each side of the vase there will be a different picture of us with aqua or chocolate paper behind the picture as a formatted pic. Understand? each picture will be something different like a kissing photo, silly photo, golfing, etc.

Kira
Do you have a pic of your boxes? i would love to see them:D
you know I measured my boxes and there about 15 inches up. I love the look no doubt and don’t want to change it at all. They will just have to do
Those arent too tall at all. Only about 12 inches up, and on a large table, they look great, not too big or too small
Are those centerpieces to tall for your tables or are they ok??
Here is another item fo rmy tiffany wedding. A wedding card box. I ordered one for the wedding, and as far as the centerpieces, I ordered 15:D:D
I think using those centerpieces are great. Take a look at mine. Seller is wedding mainstreet on ebay
Look at this fab bridal shower cake:D
Tyra-
I am just catching up on the posts– that dress color is so unique. Where did you find them. Also thanks for the recomendation of Viola–I have been speaking to her for all my stationary and she is so nice!
Does anyone think that using boxes for centerpieces wrapped in tiffany blue with a white bow will be too big for the table or I should be ok??? Wedding is June 14th
Hi everyone, My wedding is Sept. 20 and I am having a hard time finding white chair covers with a tiffany blue or aqua blue bow or sash. Can anyone help.
Good Luck!
Tyra, I loved your invitations, I went to Allison webside..what kind did you order. There so many different ones ,
Hi ladies. I need some serious advice. My wedding is June 14th and I am clueless about reception decorations! I’ve looked online for tiffany blue wedding decorations and I haven’t had a lot of luck. If anyone could help me with advice of where to find tiffany blue wedding decor. Thanks!
Lisa: My email address is: luchielle1@yahoo.com
Please feel free to email me at any time.
Tyra: I have looked up the dresses - nice
Tyra: I have checked out all the sites that you mentioned. handmadebyallison looks nice too. I will have to bookmark these because my date is so far away - but exactly what I had in mind. I love the diffusers. Are you placing one in each tiffany bag at each person’s seat? What about the men? Any other decoration ideas? What are your centerpieces? Keep the great suggestions coming, Ladies
I also have white chair covers for purchase or rental if anyone is interested.
Erika and Abby-Please provide me with your email addresses so we can discuss the Tiffany blue tablcloths if you are still interested.
Hello Ladies.
I am trying to find or create tiffany blue and chocolate programs for my wedding that aren’t going to cost and arm and a leg. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions?8-
Tyra: I am toooo excited for you!! Eveything that you have shared is simply exquisite! I HAVE to know how you put this together. We are meeting with a graphic designer (a co-worker) next week to discuss her creating our logo. Is this what you did - and then had the woman you found on e-bay make these invites for you?? I had imagined this same look - and if this is your actual picture, they are GREAT! Please tell me how you did it. I LOVE both dresses. I can’t really get a good idea about the color though. Who is the designer? YOU GO, GIRL!
I’ll look forward to your response.
BM dress clarification. The dress on the right is the color it picks up different colors including Tiffany Blue…The dress on the left is the style that they are wearing
Hi Ladies.. I picked up my invites on Saturday.. I love them!! They came out perfect…I’m just too excited.
Erika,
I think this post will finally work with the BM dress color. I hope!!
I would be interested in the tablecloths (tiffany blue) - how much? Do you have pictures?
Lisa - how much are you selling them for? Also - do you have a picture of them? Thanks!!
