For my place cards holders my FI made little square wood cubes that he put a little nitch on the top. I painted them Tiffany Blue and I’m putting the place card in the top w/ little white riibbons on the top. He bought a piece of 1.5 x 1.5 square molding from Home Depot and just cut them down. They came out really cute. I’m going to hang them from a mazanita branch..so it will look like it’s covered in Tiffany boxes w/ the names sprouting out of it.
Hi ladies thank you for the compliments and inquiries. I’ll try to answer as best I can…
Annie - The size of my invitations were 7″ x 7″, they were pretty large but I thought it would be special to go with our 7-7-07 theme. I don’t think that size is carried anymore however by cards and pockets. I think I responded to your question about how we assembled them awhile ago but here is what I wrote last time in case you missed it: We ordered the white square sheet from My Gastby in white with black thermography and the pocket fold was from CardsandPockets.com in “Tiffany. ” The one I got was a 7″x7″ one fold pocket (which I don’t think they carry anymore) but there is a 6″x6″ 3 fold pocketfolder which is pretty similar. I printed out the white strip on the front and attached it with Tombo Roller Tape Glue (Michael’s carries it and that stuff is AMAZING). Then we pre-tied the bow and used the tape glue to attach the bow (tucking the sides under the white paper strip). For the inside we cut silver card stock into 6 1/2″ squares, glue taped that down and then glue taped the My Gatsby sheet on top of it. Then to add a little sparkle we purchased Swarovski crystals and used elmers glue to glue one the My Gatsby invitation and two on the front. We got SO many compliments on them it ended up being worth the effort. But it took us about 3 weeks to complete them in all! If you’d like to take a look at it again, just click on my screen name and you can see my profile.”
b2b2009 - The square glass vases were 5″ cubed and were provided by my florist and the submersible lights were purchased off EBAY in the color “Teal” from seller: sixstarsales under this item name: Submersible Battery LED 12 Light Ups~TEAL~Tea Wedding~. The wax was also from EBAY from seller: seasonscreations under the item name: Aqua Pearl Glue Gun Sealing Wax. If you do sealing wax I highly recommend the glue gun kind. It was so much easier than trying to melt the wax myself. You just do a dollup with the glue gun, stamp and you’re good to go! The actual seal I found on clearance at Target and it actually turned out quite well.
I know what it’s like to want a Princess beautiful wedding and be on a tight budget and my best advice is to check EBAY first. Everything seemed to be cheaper there than anywhere else. Good luck and feel free to contact me with any other questions!

Tiffany L.C.- I would like to say that your wedding was gorgeous! I was planning to have a bold and bright summer color wedding- that is until my fiance saw the tiffany blue. So I am pretty much starting over with design and everything. I love the invitations and have already looked in to purchasing those… I would like to know what size square glass containers you used for the rose centerpieces… also, where did you purchase the submersible blue lights? I am on a pretty tight budget but I want everything to still be Princess beautiful! thanks for your help!

tiffany,
I like your wedding invitations, how you dit it…also what are the size.
Thanks MandD! I purchased the two larger boxes on Ebay and the small flat ones were from Tiffany gift cards and the small one on top was from a gift my husband gave me….so they were all authentic Tiffany boxes - I cut a large hole on the top of the bottom box, then the same size hole on the bottom of the middle box. Then wrapped the ribbon around each individual box taping it on the inside. Then using a ruler and tracing the size of slit we wanted we cut an opening in the front of the middle box with a VERY SHARP box cutter. The sharper it is the easier it is to cut so I would buy a brand new one for this project. Then we used glue gun to stick the bottom and middle pieces together. The top was really easy. For that I just tied the three boxes together glued it on top and stuck a large bow on it. Make sure you do this one a week or so before your wedding so you can be sure the glue has plenty of time to dry. Good luck MandD!

I don’t have the site. What I did was ask a local bakery if they could make those mini cakes and they told me they could. The bakery I went to made the ribbons out of frosting instead of the ribbon. Check her website out at http://www.edibledesignsbyjessie.com/minicakes.htm. $8 was the cheapest I could find. I hope this helps out.

Hello Everyone-
I am currently working with a bride that is using the color combination of Tiffany Blue and Brown. Rather than using Tiffany Blue as her main color, she is using brown with accents of Tiffany Blue and Dark Red.
Dresses and Flowers for Bridal Party
Dresses are brown with the Tiffany Blue sash- flowers bouquets will be red with same Tiffany Blue sash.
Tuxedos are brown with brown vest or tie- red flowers
Decor
Tables covered with Tiffany Blue linens, chairs are dark brown folded padded chairs
Centerpieces- stacked boxes (blue) with red flowers and black manzanita trees with red hydrangeas and hanging votive candles with tourquoise blue water.
I found this color combination to be very pretty, especially if you are having a fall wedding- refer to the current issue of bride & bloom spring 2008 page 44 and 45 for the color combination.
Enjoy!:D

Does anyonme have any unique ideas for the seating card table? I almost want to put the cards on something and put it into a sandbox– but there has to be a better idea. I am planning a beach wedding– saw the venue today– the ceremony room is fabulous– I amopting not to be outside because it was SOOO windy. I live in South Florida so November will still be nice on the beach.
The receptoon room is a little small and needs a lot of work.. as does the ceremony room.
Just tring to come up with unique but contemperary ideas is hard for me– :-(

Samantha,
I am using 8″ bubble bowls with broken glass at the bottom (it is the aqua color) and beta fish that are the aqua color too. For an extra nice touch I am putting square glass mirrors underneath the bowls (found them at Ikea. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/range/10372/10758. I think it was the lots mirrors 4 for ~$ 5). I think it is less expensive than roses in a t.b. colored box, but still looks elegant. Total it will be about $4/ bowl, $1.25/mirror, $2/ broken glass in bowl, and $2/fish…$10 per centerpiece. Not bad. If you really want to do roses in a centerpiece. Here’s my DIY suggestion. Order roses from http://www.rosesource.com. They will ship them where you want a couple of days before the wedding and are supposed to last 5 days in water. Talk with their representatives…they are very helpful. You can get 100 roses for about $110. Buy vases, trim the stems to the size you want and you have beautiful elegant centerpieces like this one. It will probably take at least 12 roses per table though plus the cost of vases. Hope these ideas helped. Good luck!
Thank you Suella! I got the picture stamps personalized by zazzle.com. We had it weighed at the post office and because of the square shape it cost more than usual - something to consider if you’re choosing between square and rectangle invitations - we liked the “tiffany box” look of the square ones so the extra cost was worth it to us. Zazzle has different stamp incriments so we just choose the one that would cover the cost of the invitation. Hope that helps!
to Kristin and Samantha you can find boxes sold in bulk at theboxdepot.com they have different sizes. I went with the size 4×4x4, 6×6x6, and 8×8x8. Let me know if you need any ribbon because I know this website that has a huge roll for real cheap.

I AM LOOKING FOR TIFFANY BLUE TABLE NUMBER PLACE CARDS ANY SUGGESTIONS…ANNIE
Tiffany L.C., could you tell me where you got your ring bearers pillow and flower girl basket? Did you make them yourself or were you able to purchase them somewhere? I’ve only found ones with the Tiffany blue accent on white rather than the other way around. I love those!
Hi danielle - I know, color matching is seriously hard work! It took a good 3 hours to get the right shade, but what I recommend is once you find it save it and reuse it. I think we found it first for our invitation cover and then I saved the template and copy and pasted the tiffany blue font to everthing and just altered it as needed.
The candles I purchased the day after thanksgiving for $0.49 for a box of 10 or 12 at Savon (now CVS). I stocked up and got about 8 boxes and then wrapped the ribbon around and glued the rhinestone on. I would look at craft stores, but if you can possibly wait holidays are the best time to buy them.
Shonda - I’m glad you liked the strawberries. They were AMAZINGLY good. What she told me she did was bought the biggest strawberries she could find (which came from Coscto) and just used melted brown and white chocolate. First she dipped them both in white chocolate. Then for the tuxes she dipped the backs in brown chocolate and then each side of the front in brown chocolate. She said getting these even took some skill of the hand. Then she just used a tooth pick to dip in the chocolate to make the buttons and tie. It’s kind of hard to see in the picture but she also had circles of tulle undernieth the bride strawberries which really added the effect.
Annie - unfortunately I haven’t seen those crystals at Target since I bought them. They were actually at the front of the store around spring time in those $1 bins. They had a BUNCH stuff for $1 for wedding decorations. Most of it was janky looking but the crystals were a fun addition to our escort card table.
Hope this helps ladies! And please let me know if you guys have any other questions. I’m happy to share my experiences where I can!

Does anyone know where I can find fake loose diamonds to spread on my tables for decoration? I found this website http://www.tablediamonds.co.uk/ , but it is in the UK so the shipping is ridiculous. Does anyone know of a place here in the US that might have something like this? Any other ideas of what might work for the look I ‘m going for?

Annie: The boxes I used for the card box were all from sellers on EBAY. I purchased large Tiffany & Co. boxes and then a hole in the top of the larger one and in the bottom of the smaller one and then glued them together and added a slot for envelopes to be deposited. We just used an exact-o knife and elmers glue.
Danielle: The programs I made were made from glossy, tri-fold brochure paper from Office Max. Then after a lot of trial and error with our color printer we found the “Tiffany Blue” shade and then cut two inch and a quarter long slits in the middle section and then threaded the ribbon through and then hand tied the bows.
The candles were given out to all of our guests as they arrived and during the candle lighting portion of the ceremony the audience lit one another’s candles until the flame reached our mothers. Then each of our mother’s came up to light our individual candles and then we lit our unity candle. We had our pastor explain that it was a symbolic joining of our two families…it was a wonderfully moving part of our ceremony that I highly recommend incorporating!
Thank you for the questions and please let me know if you have anymore! Best of luck planning ladies!!

Lucy - I rented Tiffany Blue chair covers from BBJ Linens and they were the perfect shade. You can see them in my bio if you’d like. Their website is: http://www.bbjlinens.com

Martha Stewart Weddings - Winter 2008 has LOVELY coverage of a tiff blue/coral/pale pink wedding, very elaborate, full of exotic ideas for anyone considering a similar color scheme. Plus, they had fun weaving in the Audrey Hepburn aspect, which automatically makes it even more chic. I love the ice sculpture solitaire, the invite, the ghost chairs.
Definitely check out this issue.

Thanks Tiffany L.C., I forgot I even asked that question (lol). I am going to go with it! They are nice and affordable. I own one with the heart charm that opens and I actually like it better than the thick choker-chains because it is nice and dainty. I am sure they will like theirs.
Amy I seen Tiffany answered you as well, but I just wanted to suggest to you and the other brides to be that I just found this site that offers discounted rates on wedding supplies. They have Tiffany Blue organza, sashes, ribbons. They offer votive holders by the case basically for dirt cheap, candles, etc.
Now, I haven’t ordered from them yet, but I plan on it.
Thanks Tiffany, I thought that would be the case with the tulle, especially since I haven’t seen it used in that way anywhere. I thought satin would look nice too, do you know where I can either rent or buy it for a decent price? (I live in NY if that makes a difference with shipping, etc.)
Finally, HELLP anyone!
I need help finding men’s vests and ties that are in the actual Tiffany Blue. Like the color of the felt bag inside the box. That is what color the Mori Lee Tiffany Blue is. All I can find is Pool blue which is not the same thing. I don’t know what to do, please, any suggestions?
Sorry this is so belated but to follow up with some questions…the drink we made was a mixture of Champagne and Hypnotiq. Not only did the color come out great but they’re tastey too!
Cie-Cie…I did something similar and bought my bridesmaids pendants as their gifts and they loved them! Tiffany’s has necklaces with each initial and they each wore their necklace for the wedding.
Dee - For the table names I actually made them myself using Photoshop. It was really easy to do and then once they were “collaged” I had them printed out by Shutterfly and then I attached them to a platinum colored, thick paper and cut to a quarter inch around the picture.
Amy - I experimented with tulle in tiffany blue and it just didn’t do the color any justice. I would say cut costs somewhere else and splurge for the color you want. It will really have a nice effect at the reception to have it in satin.
And thank you for the compliments on my dog…I will be sure to pass them along to her! She is a tea-cup poodle (apricot with white patches). She is a sweetheart and SO smart…and what I love most of all is she doesn’t shed!
Good luck to all of you and happy Aqua planning!

I actually am doing similar invites too. They have the exact templet in the TB color on a website called http://www.paperpresentation.com. Check it out. It is not too expensive. You’d just have to print out the invites and place them into the pouchette. I don’t think the website shows that they have them, but they do. I already ordered and received them. Call and talk with a representative. They are very helpful and have lots more in the TB color than they show on their website.

Here’s a simple but really attractive combo of aqua and royal blue.
The stars of course are the centerpiece florals, which showcase those gorgeous casablanca liles in a frame of white roses, crysanthemums and carnations, gorgeous green tulip buds and a blue filler flower I’m not quite sure of (anyone?). You don’t need to go overboard with the tables when you’ve got CPs like this … but of course they’re not cheap unless you have a VERY talented relative!
Here’s yet more inspiration for a tiff blue and red event plus orange — once again — from StyleMePretty! Makes wonderful use of highly decorative treats (and champagne), gorgeous curly willow as a display tree, and ample use of aqua ribbon. You can just never overuse satin ribbon for a modern-style event.
Shonda, that red and blue is brilliant! I LURVE it!
Speaking of LURVE, I wanted to post these pics of a totally delicious tiff blue, tangerine (!) and yellow wedding. This is an adventurous combo, but it couldn’t be more perfect.
The bride carried a bright bouquet of pale yellow mini callas surrounded by a ring of yellow roses, with a white satin wrap. The bridesmaids wore floor-length tiff blue silk shantung gowns with a tangerine sash or pashmina (same fabric for each gown, but varying designs), and carried bright bouquets with fuchsia, orange and yellow. The maid of honor wore a tangerine gown. How gorgeous is this??

This is to Kelly Smith,
Check with a local bridal salon that carries a wide selection of designers. Most have a color swatch book and you can see who has a color that best matches The Tiffany Blue you are looking for. Mori Lee Has a color called Tiffany Blue in their line. Alfred Angelo has a color called Robin’s Egg Blue. I’m sure that others have a color close to Tiffany, but I do not know the names of them.
Good Luck with your search.

You can get the little metal pails at the Oriental trading company. I think it’s orientaltrading.com. You might also try your local $1 store.
I had a breathtaking graduation Tiffany theme party for my daughter. I have all of the already stacked and wrapped boxes for centerpeices and other wrapped and bowed boxes to decorate an entire hall. I live in Michigan and the boxes are for sale. They are absolutely beautiful. Please email me at tiffanyangelsmom@yahoo.com. Thanks and congratulations!!

I just want to say Thank-you To Suzanne for your thoughts and ideas for dressing up the reception walls and ceilings. We fortunately have as much time as we need for decorating the space. So we can start decorating a week ahead. That is going to be a major help. I’m still going with my overall wall idea, except instead of swagging the teal and robin’s egg blue on the walls, I’m just going to use the tulle to swag tables instead.
I did rethink the ceiling idea. I think instead of using tulle stretched across with christmas lights on top. I’m instead going to get the clear painters platic drop cloths and roll them out and lightly spray paint them to give a more cloud filled sky like look. I have a big enough backyard to this on and plenty of little hands to help. Then I will swag tulle and christmas lights from all four corners and the middle of all four walls to the center, then hang a big paper lantern from where they come together. It will be a bit tricky, but we have access to a lift and I could hang something from the center of the ceiling, before I put up the plastic, that I can attatch the tulle and the lantern too. I would just have to make a small hole in the plastic to reach up thru. We’ll add paper lanterns in various spots to help shed more light. Again I would hang wire or something that the lanterns would hang from, from the ceiling first before putting up the plastic. Then we would just need to put small holes in the plastic to pull the wire down thru. I was thinking that this idea might better disguise the ugly ceiling and light fixtures yet we can still use the light that comes from the fixtures while people are eating. Then we can shut those lights off and still hopefully have enough light from the other sources to give a more romantic feel once eating is over and the partying begins.
This will require less christmas lights and tulle. A big money saver, which is always a plus.
If anyone else has thoughts or ideas, please feel free to share them. You can e-mail me directly if you want at happywyoquilter@yahoo.com again thank-you Suzanne. Good luck with your research.

In response to Linda’s daughters wedding and the wall issue. Trying to image what your room looks like, If you have to tring lights above you may want to use netting lights, as they will look uniform and with not so many strands to drive you crazy. Not sure where you live, but if you talk to a balloon creator , they use a grid made out of lightweight pvc pipe. Are you doing just a dance floor size? As far as walls go, that is a big project. Remember you only have so much time, and you have to be ready for pictures and such. what if you used curtains swags and gathered. I used 12 foot poles anchored in cement pots, and used them as a curtain backdrop for the picture area. quick easy, and it is something the boys can do easily do. Just make sure if you have a large area you will need more support that just the four corners. This concept works great for Hupas, or gazebo type feeling. Works gook in sand too. Use garlands made out of beautiful greens if you aren’t worried about covering up. Idea usually has swags in a variety of colors that are 9ft. long and 4feet across. You get two panels for about $9.00. Ok back to researching for my own bride. I am a florist in the Seattle area. Hope I helped in some way. I am all about the easy squeezy plan. If you have any questions you can reach me at Set-The-Tone@hotmail.com Good luck and Enjoy Suzanne

My daughter is getting married at the end of August 2008. She picked Teal and Robin’s Egg Blue for her wedding colors. I’m limited to my shopping for tulle where we live. We want to make swags using it. Has anyone bought aqua tulle? If so how close would it be to the Robin’s Egg Blue? Or would a turquoise blue be closer? Her colors are Tealness and Robin’s Egg Blue from Alfred Angelo.
We are hoping to buy the tulle inexpensively no more than $150.00 total and in large quanities (i.e 54″ - 108″ wide x 50yds or more) We need a total of 100 yards of the 108″ wide or 200 yards of the 54″ wide. I found some 54″ wide Aqua on Ebay being offered by Favor Frenzy. Has anyone bought this from them? If so could you tell me how close it comes to Robin’s Egg Blue?
If anyone has any ideas on where to purchase Robin’s Egg Blue tulle inexpensively please let me know.
Just to let you know the swags will be 11′ at the highest point and 9′ at the lowest point from the floor. They will be ovelapping in both the Teal and Robin’s Egg Blue. We may come down several feet. I have to re-measure how high we can make the walls. Two of the walls are completely unfinished and have the steel I beams running horizontally and insulation showing. The other two walls are way too beige. So to remedy this I’m covering the walls in pleated white tulle using white plastic table cloths behind the tulle to help hide the nastiness of the walls. But I have to work with the hieght of the I beams.
The ceiling is extremely high and also unfinished. So I’m going to stretch pleated white tulle from one side of the room to the other and lay Christmas lights on top to help bring down the height and hide the ugly ceiling. I don’t know how far down to bring the ceiling without everyone feeling closed in but yet still let the Christmas lights work as lighting. I really do not want to use the lights that are in the building. They are to bright and ugly. Do you think 11′ would be to high for the ceiling and lights? How low would be to low?
Thank-you for letting me ramble. If anyone could please help me I would be most greatful. I’m already stressing and we still have seven months or so to go and I’m not even the Bride. I just want everything to be perfect for my daughter’s big day.

My tiffany blue wedding is in July. For my centerpieces, I am doing minature wedding cakes…some that look like square tiffany boxes, and some round with white icing and tiff blue accents. I have rectangular tables, so on each side of the cake there will be a martini glass filled with clear and blue stones that contain a small calla lily arrangement. In between the cake and the glasses, I am also adding small tealight holders, and using the tiffany blue touling as a table runner.
I also bought the tiff blue paper from sophie’s favors. For favors I ended up getting bookmarks, picture frames, keychains, and cookie cutters (all with a matching design) that were already boxed. I am going to wrap all of these with the blue paper and add a white ribbon, and put one at each place setting so that each guest has a box to unwrap. Hope some of these ideas are helpful!

Hi
You can purchase tiffany blue wrapping paper on sophiesfavors as far as the white bows I purchased that on ebay I got 12 white bows to put on the boxes. I have 10 centerpieces. try going to your local bakery for cake boxes that’s where I got mine for a small fee. Around the boxes I’m using votive candle holders with turquoise candles and aqua silk rose petals also purchased on ebay they also have tulle there too.
As far as my bridal shower which will also be the same tiffany blue theme I’m just thinking about getting some balloons or a tall vase with a drop or two of blue food coloring so its not so dark with water and some calla lilies. Gifts most likely would be some a ring keychain in a aqua blue box, not sure yet on gifts.

Tiffany, I’m not sure. At any rate Carolina Retail only seems to sell the tuck-top boxes which I think are not what most people want for their CPs; they want two-piece boxes, with lids. I know this has been a real struggle for brides for some time, finding that.
I looked on ebay for good options, you can find stacked two-piece papier mache boxes there in larger sizes (10-14″, largest), but they were kind of pricey — you’re looking at $35 per CP plus painting/design costs, which is a lot for a stack of boxes.
Then I found this brilliant Canadian blogger, Karrie Snyder, who shows you how to make two-piece gift boxes, perfect for stacking, out of cardstock.
And her example is soooo stylish, she makes me want to rush out into the big world, whip up a pile of custom boxes and put some kind of personal spin on them, like a marabou feather collar or some pink stripey accent around the edge.
She makes it look easy — and maybe it is. At any rate, it’s inexpensive and obviously the results can be HOT. Something like this — or buying pre-made CPs from recent newlyweds with the same theme, since ‘crafty’ and ‘me’ rarely appear in the same sentence — would probably be my approach.

And here’s an adorable photo from InStyle magazine covering Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon’s August baby shower (for twins, boys!). Those chic chocolate brown favor boxes would be so simple to make with mod-style ribbon, wrapping paper or stencils …
They mixed it up with the flowers, too: all white, says InStyle, but the florist used “daisies, roses, tulips, lilies and mums.” Very chic!

DeMyra, a lot of people use stacked aqua gift boxes as centerpieces. You can do this easily by wrapping the boxes in aqua gift wrap from some place like Walmart and adding white satin ribbon. Or you can paint them.
Here’s a great example of the stacked boxes from Knottie 8202004bride. Obviously she surrounded hers with votives and aqua and white silk petals.
You could add even more zing by wrapping each box with a separate ribbon, placing all the boxes on a cake stand, or filling the top tier with a square of Oasis foam, some waterproof lining and pavéed white or cream flowers: spider mums, carnations, roses. That would be totally elegant and still easy enough to DIY with a little help. You could also drape strings of pearl beads from the cake stand.
Some brides here have already done their stacked gift centerpieces and maybe a few can post pics? (hint hint!)

I am looking for ideas for a bridal shower: It will be a diamonds and pearl theme. Black and white decorations with tiffany (aqua) blue small accents. The table would have loose diamonds with some kind of centerpiece with pearl strands coming out. Our frustration is creating this centerpiece. Any ideas!

Kira,
you could also try maybe a darker version on the tiffany’s blue (more like a turquiose or darker blue). you could also go lighter for your mob and mog outfits. just a thought because i saw that you wanted to keep it all around the same color. my wedding is aug. 23 ‘08, and for the most part we have everything figured out. i just told my mom and future mother-in-law that any color they like (except white) is fine with me. the great thing about this color it that with flower, you can have the same color ribbon around the stems to pull it all together. hope this helps.

Congrats to you too!!!! I did have silver in mind. Thanks for the that info.
My centerpieces are gifts boxes 3 different sizes that will be wrapped in tiffany blue wrapping paper and a white bow on top around that will be white and aqua votive candles and aqua rose petals!! My wedding will be gift box theme . My cake will also be gift boxes but it will be the opposite of the centerpieces cake is white but with a tiffany blue bow.
The favors (candles) will be the same as the cake. I’m telling you those are the perfect favors for a tiffany wedding!

My mom, stepmom, and hubby’s stepmom all wore colors to coordinate with my flowers… which, if you look at the pictures below, gave them a lot of freedom. We had a tropical/beachy theme with our Tiffany main color - my mom wore a coral dress, stepmom wore fushia, his stepmom wore tan with orange and pink flowers. Maybe if have colors other than white & aqua in your accents, you can send them in that direction!

Hi, I am a Tiffany Blue/Aqua and Chocolate bride with white accents. My wedding will have a slightly retro feel to it as well, and I am trying to make it more environmentally conscious. The date is August 10, 2008. I need help on invitation style ideas and cake ideas (keeping in mind the retro feel.
Description of what I have so far:
Centerpieces: Vintage White Milk glass bud vase with single flower (maybe calla lily) and a vintage style aqua candy dish with aqua puff mints or retro candy (the dish is from anthropologie)
Brown dresses for maids and a aqua dress for my MOH; they will be wearing white round toed pumps and white lucite filigree headbands.
For part of their gifts I am making simple round white bead necklaces of vintage white milk glass, earrings with white milk glass tulips and either aqua or brown glass briolettes (depending on which color dress), and white lucite cuff bracelets with either aqua or brown flower graphic on them.
I myself am going to make my dress stand out by having it by ivory, and mixing blues and greens close to aqua together for my bouquet and other accents. Still trying to decide on fingerless gloves and what kind of veil…
I have some other ideas but don’t want to take up too much more room on this board! Suggestions are welcome!

chekerr - I have lots of ideas for you, if you’re in need! Is there a way for us to email each other, so I can share more photos and such with you?
We got married outside on the bay (Tampa Bay) - we were on grass, but the water was “right there”! So we had a very beachy feel to the whole day… as you can probably tell in the pictures. I wore orchids in my hair (no veil), the guys were in flip flops… even my groom, in his linen suit, had on flip flops!
I went through several favor options before I decided on what we ended up using… I found small “Tiffany boxes” - filled them with aqua & white M&M’s (our last name starts with M, so they were perfect for us!), had labels w/ starfish & a shell on them made personalized on eBay (with our names & wedding date) - tied up the box like a gift using outmeal colored raffia. That same raffia was used in flower arrangments, on our programs, etc…
Everything was tied in SOMEWHERE!!
Let me know if you want to exchange emails! I do love to talk “wedding”!!

When I bought that dress it had a white satin “belt” around the hips. I’m far too short for that - I knew I needed something at empire waist level. So, a local bridal shop took on the task - I bought the fabric, and a picture of what I had in mind, and they worked MAGIC! They made a little one for my flower girl too!!:P
Those gerber colors look fantastic with the aqua … who knew? I love your sash! That is no ordinary sash, it looks designed just for your dress, not just ‘there’ like they sometimes do. GORGEOUS!

Trying again -
Bridesmaid dresses are by Watters - top color is “Ocean”, bottom is “Tiffany” - my sash was made from the Tiffany! It is a little darker than true Tiffany but coordinated lovely with the color (I had accents everywhere).
Enjoy - let me know what you think!
Kristin! Sounds awesome! Thanks for offering to share your knowledge! Any way you could post a few of your ‘greatest hits’ pics here? Pretty-please?

Hi! I got married in October and my Tiffany/Beach Theme wedding was everything I dreamed of!
I had a sash on my dress, in Tiffany satin. I ordered the fabric from Watters and had it made. I loved it.
Aqua shirts - My hubby wore one from Tommy Bahama. Short sleeved & a raw silk - beautiful. The groomsmen wore white linen shirts, but we did find aqua linen shirts on http://www.islandimporter.com.
Good luck! If you have any other questions, let me know - I did 14 months of research for my wedding so I have tons of info!!

Hi all - I am so excited I found this site, so many wonderful ideas. My wedding is May 08 and the girls are wearing black with aqua blue accents (bag, earrings - maybe a sash). I didn’t even realize how big this theme was but I saw something on Platinum Weddings (blue champagne) and googled it and saw this website. Does anybody have any ideas on the blue champagne? I saw the posting for the hypnotic but I also wanted to get some information on the blue champage (or if anyone has seen that episode - some really great ideas there like the orbit gum in the same shade as the blue with a cute ribbon around it).

HI CYNTHIA!!! I told my girlfriends they should start looking. They all have different bodies. One thought about the short dress Audrey wore when she was heading to see the guy in jail for the first time when she first met Paul. But the dress she wore in the beginning is the classic and people will get it more. I told them BIG pearls, hair up, tiara, a cup of coffee (kidding) and the sunglasses for the picture. I just got engaged June 29th. The wedding is September 20th 2008. When is yours? How friggin exciting that you and I are doing the same. We MUST keep discussing this. Oh my god I want to show you all my ideas! I have many!!!

I had no idea this blue was so hot right now! I started with my “beachy” theme - and slowly, I realized that the color just worked. Someone mentioned using orange/fuschia with the color… I am doing those colors, as well as a hot pink, in the flowers. (Gerbera Daisies, orchids, roses, freesia) Centerpieces are 9″ hurricanes rolled in sand & shells. I will have a 20×20 square in the center of the table under the mirror/hurricane.
Bought the aqua favor boxes - have labels on them with our names, wedding date, and starfish on them - tying with raffia (beachy theme). I’m finding that all the raffia and tan linen is working so beautifully with the aqua color!! Filling the boxes w/ aqua and white M&M’s. My new last name starts with M, so I’m not even having to personalize them! Will also throw a chocolate starfish in each one.
Dress is white with aqua sash - Flower girl to match me - bridesmaids & jr. bridesmaids are wearing Watters & Watters “Ocean” with aqua accent at waist. Getting married so soon - Oct 13 - and I’m really getting excited!! After all my hard work I just want to see it come together.
I realize they aren’t national, but the have several locations - if you’re looking to rent linens, Connie Duglin linens has an aqua satin that is perfect!
Happy planning ladies! Thanks for all the tips.

Monique,
I don’t know what stores you have up there but if you have a House of Brides check them out. They have REALLY good prices. But in any store you go in, if they carry Venus (or it may be called Bella) they have a color called Jamaican Mist that matches perfect. And Mori Lee has bridesmaids dresses in the aqua color. It matches really well too. If you don’t have a House of Brides near you check them out online. http://www.houseofbrides.com . They dont have the Venus (Bella) dresses on that site..i dont think. But Mori Lee IS on there. I got my wedding dress from House of Brides too. GREAT deal! But they differ from location to location. Some have good selections while others have very little. My House of Brides let me pay and extra $25 up front and all of my bridesmaids get 15% off of their dresses and after the wedding I get my $25 back hehe. Anywho, I hope this has helped!

Belsoie and B2 (both found on jasminebridal.com) each have a color that could be called aqua. Belsoie has “sea glass,” which is a more of a robin’s egg blue, but B2’s Bahama Breeze is what people generally think of when they hear aqua - It’s much brighter. You can have any of the Belsoie dresses made with B2 colors, and visa versa.

My center pieces are going to be cascading all white lillys, roses, and whatever other white flowers are in season. (June 08) I am trying to find the invitations…

Tiffany LC…where did you get your postcards/table markers? I was actually planning to do the same thing but when i saw yours…they are so cute! thanks!
I’m also having an aqua wedding!
My bridesmaid dresses are going to be the Chocolate color (perhaps with an aqua sash?). The groomsmen’s vests will be also be chocolate. Maid of honor is in Pink.
My favors are going to be the robin’s egg blue boxes with white sheer organza bows. The filling for the boxes will be up to the guests, we’re going to have a candy buffet with aqua, Pink & White colored candy, so they can choose what they want.
I’m still deciding on what to do for centerpieces…

For centerpieces, another suggestion is the Eiffel tower vases filled with marbles of aqua, white, and clear. Michaels sell both items.

Victoria,
Many of us are using boxes as the centerpieces. You can wrap the boxes in aqua paper from Walmart.

I am using the aqua theme for my friend’s bridal shower. My plan was to wrap boxes in aqua paper for the centerpieces. What a mission to find wrapping paper in that color!!! But finally after a month of searching, I found it! At a Wal-Mart of all places!!! The paper I got at Wal-Mart matches the color of the favor boxes perfectly and it was double the size of a roll for like $3 each. Good luck to all who are trying to find this color.

I’m planning August 2008 wedding and want to go with aqua for sure. I’m trying to decide on other colors. It is on the beach, so sand, seashells, etc. will also be in the decor. Does anyone think it would be too much to have some more colorful flowers like orange, pink, green, etc. to go along with it or will it take away from the sandy beach decor?

Hey guys, I’ve been checking the wall lately. I am having an aqua blue wedding with blush pink, it’s really pretty. Centerpieces with the aqua color… go find some boxes three different sizes biggest one on the bottom, then the other two on top of the biggest one. But you have to make sure it’s 3 different sizes, the top box leave off the lid and put roses or flowers in it!! it looks really good and elegant. Favors, my favors are the little 2×2 blue boxes and i went to sam’s and bought ring pops and put them in the boxes!!! Just some Ideas!!

I am doing aqua and brown. My fiance will be wearing a black tux with white vest and tie, The groomsmen are wearing mocha vests and ties. And my mom will be making aqua pocket cloths for them. She is matching a swatch from our bridesmaid dresses to a close color at Joann’s Fabric. Don’t worry the brown does not all have to be the exact same color everywhere…just make sure you’re on point with the aqua. We are getting the tuxes from men’s wearhouse.

I am doing tangerine and butter colored flowers with my pool dresses! It is an outside wedding, so I am going to get some fake berries and paint them the same shade as my dresses. It will pull the blue in, but just a hint. The orange/gold will add drama and be a little different from everyone else!

Tell me what you think about this idea. I got my bridesmaid dresses from David’s Bridal in the color pool. I was thinking of mixing this color with orange roses or orange gerbera daisies. Either you love it or you hate it! I made a bouquet out of silk flowers in the color and it looked pretty cool. Tell me what you think!

Try this for Benjamin Moore paint:
“Bird’s Egg” or “Tropicana Cabana”
Or choose the most important aqua item already existing in your wedding decor, and have the paint store match it exactly.

I have heard other people recommend going to like Home Depot. Then bring in a swatch of the color you want. They can custom match the swatch you bring in. Then paint the boxes.
This is what someone said on the board earlier (you can read the whole board by scrolling down.)

Angie are you doing fresh flowers or artificial? What color is your dress and what is the color(s) of your bridesmaids? If Aqua or Brown, use creams and add color fillers or even color crystals or blue & brown feathers. They both go with your theme. Then finish with blue or brown wrap or ribbon.

Jim Hjelm’s radiant chiffon bridesmaid dresses in the color “Tahitian” are a gorgeous aqua. The dresses are available in a variety of styles in that color and fabric.
I found a really lovely dress made by After Six in the color Meadow (fabric is Nu-Georgette). You can see it on http://www.dessy.com under the After Six tab, style #A6248. The colors on the website look nothing like the fabric swatches in real life, so never order strictly off the site. Always go in to the store to check it out.

Annie,
I am planning a Sept 08 wedding. Can you tell me what website you found the set of 4 aqua boxes for 6 bucks? Thanks
Bee - For our invitations we got the following 7 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ enveolopes from Crane: http://www.crane.com/prdSell.aspx?Name=22100_CranesPearlWhiteLettraMarquisEnvelopes
I may have made a mistake…the ones I got from envelopemall.com were for our cd favors.
b2b2009 - The square glass vases were 5″ cubed and were provided by my florist and the submersible lights were purchased off EBAY in the color “Teal” from seller: sixstarsales under this item name: Submersible Battery LED 12 Light Ups~TEAL~Tea Wedding~.
I am also curious to know where you got the wax seal supplies… thanks
Tiffany L.C.- I would like to say that your wedding was gorgeous! I was planning to have a bold and bright summer color wedding- that is until my fiance saw the tiffany blue. So I am pretty much starting over with design and everything. I love the invitations and have already looked in to purchasing those… I would like to know what size square glass containers you used for the rose centerpieces… also, where did you purchase the submersible blue lights? I am on a pretty tight budget but I want everything to still be Princess beautiful! thanks for your help!
Tiffany,
What size envelopes did you get from envelope mall and what size envelopes did you get for your response cards?

I like your wedding invitations, how you dit it…also what are the size.

Hi Valerie!
You can just click above on “Tiffany L.C.” Says:.
Tiffany L.C. Where can I go to see your wedding?
Hi Tiffany L.C.,
You had a beautiful wedding. I absolutely love your Tiffany envelope box and hope you can tell me how to make it.

I love looking every day to see what she’s come up with next!
Even tho this isn’t Danielle’s dress, I came across this photo and thought it really showed how great this general style can look in a bridesmaid group — I really think these girls look amazing!
Elizabeth- those edible boxes are gorgeous. What site are they on???? I may not be able to get one for everyone– but would love to work it in somehow—
Wow that’s an amazing price for a dress. You can’t beat that. Thanks I will look at the website. Thanks everyone. Danielle those boxes are mini cakes. I actually tried to find someone to make those for me. They were $8.00 a peice. It’s a bit expensive. I have another idea for a Tiffany cake which I will post.
Tiffany, what size are your invitations 7×7 or 5×7.
Thank you,

Elizabeth,
I am getting married on April 12 and that is the dress I chose for my bridesmaids. We paid $86.68. I live in North Carolina and bought it from a bridal shop called Bridalmart. Their website is http://www.bridalmart.com. You have to call them for the prices though. Good luck!
i don’t know who posted these but what are they?
Hey guyz its danielle! july 12th is comin soooo soon! i’m super excited. for everyone interestd in BM dresses go to cbslimited.com and scroll down the right hand side and look under BM u have to sort through them but they have colors and prices!
Wow that’s a great deal those dresses are really nice. Did you go to a small shop or a big retailer? I live in Houston and I have about 4 boutiques I want to go to. here is the picture of the dress I like. I hope I can find it around the same price you bought your dresses. That’s a great deal. The dresses I found where $150.00 way too much I think. I want something in the low $100.00.
i will send a pic of the box soon. my dresses were only 117, orignally 130 but i’m ordering 7 so i got it for 117.
Danielle could you send a picture of the envelope box? I ordered my boxes from the site that Kelly provided so I just need to wrap them. The dresses are very nice but were they affordable? Meaning somewhere below $200. I am looking for some tiffany blue dresses but with a halter top not strapless.
hey guyz sorry so busy with everything! the dresses are from MORI LEE. there great and the perfect color. i had my sister try them on and she loves them.
my mom just made my envelope box that u but the gift in. she used white bow cake boxes and the spray paint the look perfect!
Weddings like these make me want to cry they are so beautiful… I feel as if I can never pull off something so fabulous

you can use tall cylinder vase with a blue tall candle or even a floting candle to give the romantic look. Also around it you can put some tiffany blue petals with votile candles. It will look very pretty.
Enjoy!:D
Thank you so much.
I think the beta fish is an amazing idea– I want to Definitely try to incorporate that.
Just tring to come up with unique but contemperary ideas is hard for me– :-(
the website is shrinkbagsandmore.com
I’m planning my wedding March 2009. I found a web site shrinkbagsand more.com. they have nest boxes for 6.00, its 4 boxes
Samantha,
I am using 8″ bubble bowls with broken glass at the bottom (it is the aqua color) and beta fish that are the aqua color too.
Tiffany L.C.,
Great Invitations however I noticed you have a pictured stamp, how did you get it? I also noticed that the stamp was $0.87 worth is that inclusive of the picture being on it or is it because of the weight of the invitation, help pls.
Hi everyone,
I also am planning a Tiffany Blue wedding! I am getting married on the beach and working within a limited budget. I have champagne taste– well at least that is what they say– but working on a beer budget. I am not very creative–but I am looking at everyone coming up with such great ideas. Can anyone point me in the right direction for centerpeice and favor ideas. DIY will be fine with me — as long as it can be creative elegant– and most importantly affordable.
Help!
wedding date 11-22-08
Hello All,
I am planning a tiffany blue wedding in May. I too am looking for stackable boxes…however just to let you know I found some tiffany blue wrapping paper believe it or not at Walmart for 3$. It comes in a pretty big role.
LOVE your BM dresses Danielle!
Hey guyz i just ordered my DRESSES so cute right? of course tiffany blue with white sashes
Yes Kelly send me the site please. Thanks.
I am looking for tiffany blue table place cards ANYBODY can give me a suggestion. Thank you
Ellizabeth, you can find a set of boxes for about $6.00 and they come in set of 4…I have a good website if you want.
These are the measuring of the boxes and one set of 4 is only $6. they have it in aqua
6 x 6 x 3.5
5 1/8 x 5 1/8 x 3 1/8
4 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 2 1/2
3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/4
Kelly I only wanted to buy one set of boxes since I only need it for my wedding cards. Do you know of any other site that sells only individual boxes and not in bulks? Thanks Kelly I appreciate your help.
the box sizes that I bought were 4×4x4 , 6×6x6, and 8×8x8 the website is very inexpensive. they are under corrugated boxes they offer the 4×4x4 for a pack of 25 for 14.95. If you need anymore help I will happily give you all the websites that me and me fiancee used. Hope this is helpful.
Kelly what were the sizes of the boxes that you bought for the stackable centerpiece? I have been looking for boxes but have not found any that would look right stacked up to make the centerpiece. I have everythign except for the boxes. Any information would hlep. Thanks.
to Lydia you can find wrapping paper at papermart under Gift Wrap (see “Turquoise”) they give you a large amount for real cheap and they also have cheap ribbon
I am looking for Tiffany blue wrapping paper I want to do the Tiffany boxes but I am running out of luck finding the wapping paper in Cedar Hill, Texas
Tiffany, thank you ….you are a great help for us.
Amy - Glad you liked them! They were good quality and the perfect shade. I got the ring bearer pillow, basket and guest book all from EBAY seller linenandlaceclassicdesigns. It may not be for sale right now in those exact shade but I’m sure you can ask her to make them for you!
Annie - Thank you so much! A majority of the inviation my husband and I did ourselves. We ordered the white square sheet from My Gastby in white with black thermography and the pocket fold was from CardsandPockets.com in “Tiffany. If you’d like to take a look at it again, just click on my screen name and you can see my profile.
Happy Planning!
Tiffany, you ordered your wedding invitations packet from My gatsy, however which color did you order and which style…I really love your invitation. Tank you for your help.
You can find the big engagement rings at Oriental trading. Type in diamond napkin ring…

Where do you get elegant tiffany blue looking invitations!
I AM LOOKING FOR TIFFANY BLUE TABLE NUMBER PLACE CARDS ANY SUGGESTIONS…ANNIE
Jackie,
I found loose diamonds at Vibride
And also found them at Your Wedding Company
Thank you Tiffany for your information….I will try it…also I know you got the crystals at Target but in what section in Target should I look
Thank you again Annie
Danielle,
I am having a Tiffany blue wedding on August 2. Can you email me about the chair covers? BankHoffmanWedd@aol.com
Lisa
Does anyone know where I can find fake loose diamonds to spread on my tables for decoration? I found this website http://www.tablediamonds.co.uk/ , but it is in the UK so the shipping is ridiculous. Does anyone know of a place here in the US that might have something like this? Any other ideas of what might work for the look I ‘m going for?
Tiffany L.C.
Where did your sister-in-law find to make the chocolate covered strawberries to look like the bride and groom?
i am STRESSING chair covers!! is anyone else havin issue? the cost is just goin through the roof with renting them any idea?
tiffany- i’m havin the same problem with guess and check with my color printer…any suggestions lol.
where did u get the candels?
Best of luck planning ladies!!
tiffany, i was wondering where u got your progams and how u made them??
also i was wondering i saw u gave everyone candels. how did u incorperate them into your wedding?
Tiffany….I would like to know where you got the tiffany blue boxes that you used at your wedding …the one used to drop the envelopes. I loved them.
Annie
Tiffany- Thank you so much!! I loved your wedding it was beautiful! The invitations were beautiful- i will check out the website! Ladies- what do u think of silver dresses for the bridesmaids with a tiffany blue sash? any suggestions?
Lucy - I rented Tiffany Blue chair covers from BBJ Linens and they were the perfect shade. You can see them in my bio if you’d like. Their website is: http://www.bbjlinens.com
Danielle - I’ve got pics of my table names in my bio (click on my name). But if you’d like more you can e-mail me at tiffanyLC7 at msn dot com.
Hi Tiffany,
That’s great!! I love that resort. What day are you getting married? Are you using the ballroom?. Please email me a acerda@univision.com.
Thanks for the website.
Ana - I’m getting married at Dreams Cancun in June. Have you checked out Best Destination Wedding.com? There is a forum where all the Dream’s Brides post, try this one here where the whole thread is about Dreams Cancun (link).
And here is a Dreams Cancun photoshow (link)
The centerpieces you can get from the resort are posted at the forum as well as DIY ideas.
HI TIFFANY BLUE BRIDES! I AM ALSO PLANNING MY TIFFANY BLUE WEDDING IN JULY 2009. WHERE CAN I RENT OR BUY THE CHAIR COVERS? ANY OTHER IDEAS FOR BRIDESMAID DRESSES OTHER THAN TIFFANY BLUE.. IM TRYING TO TO OVER DO THE COLOR! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
tiffany l.c i was wondering if u had a pic of the table names you did?
Thanks Tiffany L.C., I forgot I even asked that question (lol). I am going to go with it! They are nice and affordable. I own one with the heart charm that opens and I actually like it better than the thick choker-chains because it is nice and dainty. I am sure they will like theirs.
Amy I seen Tiffany answered you as well, but I just wanted to suggest to you and the other brides to be that I just found this site that offers discounted rates on wedding supplies. They have Tiffany Blue organza, sashes, ribbons. They offer votive holders by the case basically for dirt cheap, candles, etc.
http://www.save-on-crafts.com/bridalveilshop.html
Good luck to all of you and happy Aqua planning!
how is everyone doing with chair covers? i just check the price for the ones i wanted and they weren’t bad 4.00 to rent. BUT with totally shipping there and back was 300! does anyone know where to get tiffany chair covers besides the one if california??
Hi Elizabeth,
Yes I am getting married on October 11, 2008 at Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa. You can e-mail me - acerda@univision.com. I am very excited this hotel has a nice gazebo for weddings.
Hey Ana where in Cancun are you getting married? I am going next month to decide on the resort. I am getting married in Cancun on November 15, 2008.
Rae
That will be great …please post them or email them to me @ bsingleton25@aol.com
Thanks Jackie…going there now…
I actually am doing similar invites too.
I am havin my wedding in Cancun, Mexico October 11,2008. I need some beach wedding center pieces.
I’ve decided to make my own tiffany blue chair sashes for my wedding to cut back in costs. I was thinking about using tulle fabric since it is cheaper but I’m afraid it might be too thin/light. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Bee -
I did those types of invites for my wedding too. I found the idea at http://www.mygatsbycom. But after totally up the cost of them I decided to make them my self. I would be happy to send you some pictures and tell you how I created the templete.
Does anyone know where I can find this invite…or give me any ideas on how to DIY…
Just wondering where I can find wide tiffany blue ribbon? I saw it on this site, but I really am not wanting to pay almost 2oo on ribbon. I am needing it to go around the cake so it needs to be satin and about 2in or 1 1/2 in in width. Please if anyone knows let me know!!
Hi Kristin,
I loved your pictures. Your dress and bridesmaid dresses looked great. I too am planning a beach wedding in those colors. I would love to correspond more through e-mail. E-mail me at Im1grl4god@hotmail.com Excited to hear from you!

Cie-Cie could you please post the wedding cake website. I love the idea and I want to get someone to do cakes for me. Thanks.
Hi Maria,
I don’t know where you can find actual Tiffany Blue Cd boxes, but I found some other styles you can use to get the same effect. Here is the link for the sheer and white cd sleeves:
http://www.blissweddingsmarket.com/store/wedding-cd-cases.htm
You can order the colored cd label paper from this site and they offer it in Pastel Blue:
http://www.onlinelabels.com/OL9325.htm
This is a link to a larger pic of the blue labeled cd with the sheer case and white ribbon:
http://www.weddingbycolor.com/amariehatch/milestones/1327#comment
And of course you can get the white ribbon from a craft store.
Hope this helps?
My daughter’s wedding colors are tiffany blue and chocolate. We are looking for tiffany blue CD gift boxes. I’ve been searching online, but to no avail. Does anyone know where we might find them?
Please let me know.
Thank you.
Thank you!
I really like the bridesmaid dresses above does anybody know where I can find them. Thanks
Also, I wanted to get your ideas of buying my bridesmaids the Tiffany Pendants as gifts?
I am looking to buy Mori Lee satin in tiffany blue by the yard. I need 2 yards for sashes for flower girl dresses. Does anyone know where to buy by the yard? Thanks.
Hi girls,
I am new here just googled about Tiffany Blue weddings and found this site. I wanted to post a cake idea that I found while looking for cake designers. It may help someone with a cake idea.
Amanda, are you in the warm part of the country where fall goes on forever? Because in the north where Nov can get wintery, Tiff blue + silver + crystal is a popular and pretty combo.
Tiffany brides, I found another designer that has a color “pool” that looks just like tiffany blue!! The dresses are much nicer than david’s bridal & any dress shop should carry them. Dresses can be seen on Alfred Angelo…
Shonda,
Thanks for the ideas, i really appreciate it. I am probably going to have the wedding in nov…i know the tiffany blue does not really compliment this time of year (which is why i plan on accenting with darker, more dramatic colors -red&black). Can anyone think of other ways to make a tiff blue wedding more acceptable for the fall? thanks!
amanda
where can i find aqua tablecloths for my wedding..i live in louisiana and am having a very hard time locating some
OK, we’ve all seen a ton of Tiffany cakes, but doesn’t this one have a little something special? The artist, TNSomethingSpecial Cakes, fashioned all the rose petals and roses out of gumpaste on a blue fondant background. See her cakes here … I’ve got a bit of a cake crush on her after seeing the Coffee Cup groom’s cake.
I found these centerpiece boxes from another bride … personally, I think the detailing is really cute, with the “diamond” ring topper, bracelet-style trim, crimped ribbon … cool. From The Wedding Main St.
Does anyone know where I can fond some stackable gift boxes to use as centerpieces???
Hi, I’m planning a Feb. wedding here in the Phil. Me and my fiance originally wanted a beach wedding but due to insistent demand we changed it to a garden venue instead overlooking a lake and volcano. Do you think its still ok to continue the beach motif (colors: aqua and fuschia) in the garden setting? Any ideas for teh reception decoration? thanks:D
Does anyone know where to get two-piece large tiffany blue boxes? I’m looking for ones similar to the ones that were used as take home favors (contained cracker jacks, Breakfast at Tiffanys DVD) on the Martha Stewart Wedding on the Today Show? Thanks!
HI everyone. i am getting married and i was wondering if ANYONE would be interested in selling me any of there old centerpeices or boxes or ANYTHING tiffany’s. i’m on a TIGHT TIGHT budget! please email me at lilyangel1303@aol.com if u can help!!! thank you
Here’s a simple but really attractive combo of aqua and royal blue.
Tara Guerard’s aqua-inspired wedding
Amanda,
Take a look at this!
Hi,
I just got engaged on Friday, and am planning a tiffany blue wedding. I plan on accenting the blue with black and red, does anyone have pictures or ideas of decorations for this style? Thanks!
Amanda
Tanisa,
I ordered my wedding gown from House of Brides last January. I received my dress by May. My overall experience was good. I didn’t have to pay for shipping either.
Hello,
Has anyone ordered dresses from House of Brides? What was your experience?
I am having a hard time finding the right tiffany blue fabric for my wedding sash. Do you know of any places to order online? David’s Bridals’ aqua sash is not quite the right color.
Also, I am having a hard time deciding what to do for flowers. Origninally I wanted ambiance roses (yellow with pink tips), but should I mix it up more? Thanks!!
Michelle,
You can get the little metal pails at the Oriental trading company.
If you have any questions you can reach me at Set-The-Tone@hotmail.com Good luck and Enjoy Suzanne

lOOKING FOR bRIDESMAID DRESSES

Hope some of these ideas are helpful!
hey michelle..i went to walmart and noticed that they had touling that matched perfectly. they ordered me 4 bolts, but it did take a while. you might want to try there!
Gifts most likely would be some a ring keychain in a aqua blue box, not sure yet on gifts.
hi all love all your ideas congrats. but i would love to know where i can get the blue tuille to wrap things in and the white satin ribbon or if anyone has any i can buy off of them i would love to know . or any o f the wrapped tiffany boxes please email me at dolfin028@yahoo.com

HELP!!!! Person doing reception backed out due to bad weather. Need a recipe for punch to serve for AQUA wedding for this saturday, 12/29/07. Thanks
Hi Blake…. do you know if the boxes used in the photo you posted are those from Caroline Retail place? Thats what I am looking for. If so what are the sizes of those boxes? Thank you
Hi I am getting married next year in August, and I am also using the Tiffany blue color. Anyone selling any gift box centerpieces, that I can buy for mine? I have a few ideas so far. I want to use the gift boxes as my center piece.
Any ideas!
Lizette, Caroline Retail sells large-ish two piece gift boxes that might be the type you’re looking for, long and flat. Take a look:
two piece aqua gift boxes for invitations
I am also doing Tiffany blue and white. I found the perfect tiff wrapping paper at wal-mart, cost 3.00 a roll. I am looking for some white square plates and invatations though. Can anyone help? I am really wanting to send out my invites in a box to each person. Im having a hard time finding 100 boxes.
Does anyone know where I can find jewelry for my bridesmaids? I am on a budget, and would like to find jewelry in tiffany blue because that is the color of their dresses. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!
Yes thank u for ur advice
Kira,
you could also try maybe a darker version on the tiffany’s blue (more like a turquiose or darker blue). you could also go lighter for your mob and mog outfits. just a thought because i saw that you wanted to keep it all around the same color. my wedding is aug. 23 ‘08, and for the most part we have everything figured out. i just told my mom and future mother-in-law that any color they like (except white) is fine with me. the great thing about this color it that with flower, you can have the same color ribbon around the stems to pull it all together. hope this helps.
Hi Tachanda
Congrats to you too!!!! I did have silver in mind. Thanks for the that info.
My centerpieces are gifts boxes 3 different sizes that will be wrapped in tiffany blue wrapping paper and a white bow on top around that will be white and aqua votive candles and aqua rose petals!! My wedding will be gift box theme . My cake will also be gift boxes but it will be the opposite of the centerpieces cake is white but with a tiffany blue bow.
The favors (candles) will be the same as the cake. I’m telling you those are the perfect favors for a tiffany wedding!
Jessica and others-
Well I got my boxes for my wedding centerpieces at a local bakery where I live. They only charged me 50 cent a box. That’s thirty boxes I got 3 for each table. Try your local bakery see if they will sell you some boxes. sophiesfavors also have tiffany blue ribbons and tiffany wrapping paper
i’m havening my confirmation in the theme of tiffany blue and brown i didn’t go all out with it like i wanted but i did have the invitations a close color to tiffany which i got at Michele’s craft store and printed them myself in brown font i also got choclete brown envelops and put clear labels in blue for favors i have cookie jars filled with biscotti that i found all pre made at the Christmas tree shop there packaged in tiffany color bags that i got 2 for 77cents i need a cheep idea for center pieces i was thinking of makeing little boxes but i need the to be cute and cheep i may look up instructions on how to make boxes online i will post pictures when it happens its next week i plan on havening my sweet 16 this theme too
Hi Kira.. Congrats on your big day!! My wedding is the same day!! My colors are tiffany blue, white, & silver.. My mother is wearing silver. My fiancee’s mom is not sure what she is wearing yet. Just wanted to give you and idea. What are you doing for your reception center peices?
Thanks Kristin!!!!
Those ideas did help me out I just had my heart set on just those two colors. I’m sure It’s still going to look beautiful.
Thanks Again
My mom, stepmom, and hubby’s stepmom all wore colors to coordinate with my flowers… which, if you look at the pictures below, gave them a lot of freedom. We had a tropical/beachy theme with our Tiffany main color - my mom wore a coral dress, stepmom wore fushia, his stepmom wore tan with orange and pink flowers. Maybe if have colors other than white & aqua in your accents, you can send them in that direction!
Hi Ladies!!!
Congratulations to all!! I’m also an aqua bride or you would call it a Tiffany Blue Bride. All of yall ideas are great. I’m just having one big issue. I have no idea what my mom or groom’s mother will wear. My colors are tiffany blue and white, my theme also is a gift box theme .
Any suggestions I would grealty appreciate that. My wedding is June 14, 2008
Thanks
Kira:-?
Cynthia & Natalie:
Hi, I am not going to be a bride, nor am I planning a wedding. But I am planning a 15th for my daughter, and the theme is Breakfast at Tiffany’s! I have found that the only place to get ideas is wedding sites. I would like to hear more about your ideas for your upcoming weddings! How exciting! Oh, by the way, her 15th is set for December 2008. We plan on having the girls wear the black dress that Audrey wore in the movie.
Any ideas help.
Thanks,
Shirley:-?
i would love for you to share your ideas. i love to talk wedding too, however my fiance does not..haha i have found that my color isn’t quite aqua it is more turquise but it is called aqua by watters and watters, so it has been hard to match. my email is amber_cheke@yahoo.com i would love any adivce! i have lots of ideas! just not 100% sure on anything just yet… we are getting married just outside of Panama City on the fourteenth of June! so its going to be HOT!
chekerr - I have lots of ideas for you, if you’re in need!
Thank you so much for the advice. Kristin..did you get married on the beach? I would love any other adivce or tips that you have. I am so overwhelmed right now. We loved the islandimporter website that is just what we were looking for! Any good favor ideas? Guests are coming from Kentucky to Florida for the wedding…
Hey! Im getting married 6/14/08! on the beach! I’m looking for an aqua sash as well as aqau linen shirts for the men. Does anyone know of a good place? Thanks!
I need HELP!!! My daughter’s wedding is March, 08 and her color is aqua/turquoise blue and cream. I am making her flowers and she wants cream tulips. I am looking for MINI cream silk tulips and any aqua/turquoise small silk flowers. All suggestions appreciated:D
I am looking for tiffany blue gift bags. Can anyone help?
Hi to all!!!!!! Me and my husband were married by the judge 2 years ago so now we decided to have our church wedding this december, my question is how to find a motiff that both of us will like because we never decided yet what motiff it will be
hello everyone!!!!!!!! I have a question me and my husband were not able to have a wedding this year so we were married by the judge on july 21. We decided to renew our wedding vows next year for our one year anniversary so that we can celebrate in front of our family and friends. I am not doing the traditional wedding since I am not a “bride” but can anyone tell me the proper etiquette on this????? Also, I want to do my colors in aqua and white can anyone give me ideas??
Hey guyneedshelp!, Savi formalwear has one that is close, as well as Afterhours formalwear. You can check at Men’s wearhouse too, they have a few that have the color in it, but it’s not solid.
Any of you ladies know where I can find a aqua blue tuxedo tie to match my fiance’s wedding reception outfit? I’m going crazy trying to find one the right color.
I’m getting married 6/14/08 & I am looking for paper napkins & matchbooks in ivory with aqua writing available for personalization. Does anybody know a good website where I can get this?
Hi, I’m not sure what Tiffany LC used, but I have seen people use “hypnotic” as the main alcohol for the blue colored drinks. If you haven’t had it, it’s kind of a mango-tropic fruit liquor with vodka.
Tiffany LC. just wondering where you got the blue drinks? I;m getting married next Aug 23rd, but I think that the drinks would be great for the rehersal dinner. If you could let me know, that would be wonderful. I loved your wedding pictures.
I’m also doing an aqua blue wedding, it’s Oct. 07. Michael’s crafts store has aqua blue ribbon. Also, for those of you that are looking for pool colored tapered candles, they have them at Old Time Pottery for about .55 cents per candle.
DIY Invites - I just started posting pictures for you all of the blue elements we had at our wedding. Check out: http://tifener.blogspot.com/ I hope it helps give you some ideas. More pictures to come.
Hi everyone! I’m getting married Dec. 29 2007. I am having aqua blue even though my wedding is in the Winter. I am having aqua blue BM dresses and the guys are wearing brown tuxedos. I am trying to do a very natural theme without a lot of flowers. I don’t want a bunch of flowers in the middle of the winter. So i’m having iced birch branches in large pots with a bunch of candles for the ceremony. My problem is i have no idea what type of flowers for the bouquets. I want the BM’s to have white flowers and my dress is white with a aqua blue sash…should i have blue flowers or what? i also have no idea about centerpieces!! i found like 16 inch tall cylinder vases for cheap and got them. I have no idea how to fill them! like i said id ont want alot of flowers….does anyone have any ideas!! please help
Hi
I’m planning my wedding 6.21.08. My theme also is going to be the aqua blue! But I wanna add some color maybe pink. But don’t know which pink to choose hot pink or a light pink???
Which one you think would look better guys??
Kira
I just decided last night after staring at color samples that I wanted aqua blue incorporated in my 6.7.08 wedding. I really want all shades from dark to light of pink incorporated in my wedding as well. Do you guys think that fuchsia and aqua would be too much?? It seems everyone else is going for softer pinks….
I found tapered aqua candles at Ikea.
I would love to chat with Nikki, we have the same idea! I’m wanting to add color to with my beach theme.:D
Hi
I’m getting married Oct.2008 in Hawaii. I love the aqua. I have my guest book, garter, flower basket in David’s Bridal Pool. My problem is I can’t decide between the blue, sliver, white or the blue and chocolate and incorporate a beach theme. I’m not that crazy about seashells either. Was thinking of adding orange and fuschia. Anyone have any ideas?
I was wondering if anyone has been able to find aqua tapered candles?I am having a hard time finding this.
Thanks,
Jackie
Natalie…. I am so excited that you are doing the same theme! Have you found your BM dresses? I am also going to do the Big Sunglasses for pictures! Have you found them already? What is your wedding date?
I need to talk to Cynthia!!! I’m having the same theme!!! I want the theme to be “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and my girls are wearing the same thing. I’m using the big sunglasses for them though. I would LOVE some ideas on that!!!
I am having an aqua wedding as well. I love the idea of the blue drinks. What are they made of? Thaks and congrats to you all
Monique,
I don’t know what stores you have up there but if you have a House of Brides check them out.
Monique,
It’s YOUR wedding. Have whatever color you want! Who cares if it’s not the color of the season. Besides, having that color in the Fall will make your wedding stand out from the rest!
:-? Im getting married October 2008. Everyone keeps telling me aqua is a spring color and not a good color for my fall wedding. Is everyone right? I really wanted an aqua wedding…
Hey Everyone and Congrats to all of You Brides To Be!!!
Im getting married this year and my wedding colors are Aqua, Silver, and Pale Pink. My Bridesmaids Dresses are More Lee Aqua, I need some advice on the bridesmaids bouquet colors?? I was thinking cream hydrangeas with pale pink roses or maybe a splash of a darker pink rose?? Any Advice…??
Belsoie and B2 (both found on jasminebridal.com) each have a color that could be called aqua. Belsoie has “sea glass,” which is a more of a robin’s egg blue, but B2’s Bahama Breeze is what people generally think of when they hear aqua - It’s much brighter. You can have any of the Belsoie dresses made with B2 colors, and visa versa.
I’m havening my sweet 16 and i need to know were to get aqua card stock because i cant find it on line i need it for the invitations i check the seaglass on line but i coud find anything can any post a few links
Tiffany, I wanted to do this for my invitations but I’m going to use it for my programs instead. I’m buying aqua/robin’s egg blue cardstock and this gorgeous sparkly white cardstock, overlapping them and tying them together with yellow ribbon. Check out Michaels if you have one. I think the aqua cardstock is called Seaglass… i think. I also went to Hobby Lobby (Michaels may carry them too) and got these need tool that helps you cut paper in a straight line.
Hi, Does anyone have any ideas on any aqua do-it-yourself invitations? My wedding is not until August 23, 2008 so I have a little time left to plan. Any other ideas anyone my have I will apreciate.
Thanks
http://www.venusbridal.com
I found aqua bridesmaid dresses at House of Brides. Its under the designer Venus and is called Jamaican Mist. Mori Lee makes a color similar but I took a bag with me and the Jamaican mist is almost a perfect match. Way better than the Mori Lee dresses.
I am planning a wedding with Aqua, Platinum, Black and White. I have ten bridesmaids, one matron of honor, one maid of honor and two flower girls. I wanted to know where I could purchase beautiful aqua items to compliment my wedding. The attendants will be wearing pool colored dresses from Davids Bridal. Any suggestions?
Ms. Tiffany L. C. I’ve seen your wedding website and i love it so much. Where did you order your aqua wine i’m getting married next year and dying to have an aqua wedding color..please help
I am doing sand with white, aqua, maybe some brown and green. All beach theme with aqua basically.
What is a good color to go with sand? The wedding is in June 08.
I am doing a Audrey Hepburn/Aqua theme. My bridesmaids are wearing a black dress w/ blk gloves and pearl necklace… I am trying to find cigarette holders for photo props.
Has anyone done aqua with light yellow? Perhaps using vases of lemons as centerpieces? Any ideas with this theme would be greatly appreicated!
Victoria,
Many of us are using boxes as the centerpieces. You can wrap the boxes in aqua paper from Walmart.
Well I’m having a blue wedding and the theme all can from Toni Braxtons wedding cake. When I seen that cake I just fell in love but I am also having trouble finding or coming up with centerpieces so please help.
Hails, what about stainless steal vases ( you can find them on amazon.com) with White flowers and an aqua ribbon tied around
I am having a wedding in aqua, white and platium, with sworski crystles..this year I have aqua bridesmaids and white lien table clothes white chair cover with aqua ties, the favors are little aqua boxes with ribbon…I am have a lot of trouble deciding on the centerpeices..somthing that is not to expencive can anyone help???
Hey guys, I’ve been checking the wall lately. I am having an aqua blue wedding with blush pink, it’s really pretty. Centerpieces with the aqua color… go find some boxes three different sizes biggest one on the bottom, then the other two on top of the biggest one. But you have to make sure it’s 3 different sizes, the top box leave off the lid and put roses or flowers in it!! it looks really good and elegant. Favors, my favors are the little 2×2 blue boxes and i went to sam’s and bought ring pops and put them in the boxes!!! Just some Ideas!!
BTW Tiffany L.C. what type of dog do you have? :-?
Tiffany L.C.
I LOVED everything about your wedding from the Invitations to the DIY stuff and the favors it is all AMAZING Great Job with every little thing.
P.S. your dog is sooooo cute
I’m also doing an Aqua /White/Plat. wedding with a few things in a blue/purple color. I have aqua invitations, ring pillow, flower basket, save the dates,OOT gift bags, garters, candles, custom cd favors. See my website for ideas and happy wedding planning!

Meredith, I love aqua and brown those are the colors im haveing for my sweet 16. and for the groom i think he should wear a black or white suit with an aqua tie. if you need anymore help just ask!
So….thoughts on aqua/brown….
I don’t know what my husband will where— black???

I am getting silk flowers from Angels Accents her work is gorgeous.
Here is a link. Go to design gallery Look for #23 in Tropics 2. It is like a celandon green color flower with aqua, super pretty…plus your maids and family get to keep bo-k and boutineers, etc. I got my whole flower package with tons of stuff for less than $500. Hope this helps someone!
It’s nice to hear that someone else is doing something similar. I like your idea of adding the butter color. I was really struggling with what to do and I didn’t want to stick witht he basic white and blue. Let me know how everything turns out. I am getting married August 18, 2007.
I am doing tangerine and butter colored flowers with my pool dresses! It is an outside wedding, so I am going to get some fake berries and paint them the same shade as my dresses. It will pull the blue in, but just a hint. The orange/gold will add drama and be a little different from everyone else!
Hi guys,
Tell me what you think about this idea. I got my bridesmaid dresses from David’s Bridal in the color pool. I was thinking of mixing this color with orange roses or orange gerbera daisies. Either you love it or you hate it! I made a bouquet out of silk flowers in the color and it looked pretty cool. Tell me what you think!
i was wondering what color coordinates with blue velvet? i have my bridal party in that color and i was wondering what would look perfect with it. thank you
Thanks guys!
What do you think about this idea for centerpieses:
Tall glass vases with white roses inside and the aqua ribbon draped around?
P.s. i think im going to get those candles and lite them up on the tables(WDUT?)
Hi Jessica, for favors I am getting the personalized aqua colored m&ms from the old Colorworks site, here:
http://www.mymms.com/customprint/
I am putting them in the ’something blue’ boxes with the ribbons and then I am tying on these cheap ‘engagement rings to the ribbons’ –
http://www.favorideas.com/shopping/prod/SP-050-RG.htm
It is going to be very cute
Jessica,
I am using these cute, inexpensive candles for my wedding. Maybe this can give you are start for some favor ideas.
Well i thought of an idea for my favors I’m going to get those 2X2X2 boxes that come with the ribbon and put heresy kisses inside
but i still need centerpieces ideas i want do do something with flowers I’ll get back to you guys when i think of something
I am also having an aqua wedding and I am having a hard time coming up with affordable centerpiece ideas. I want to do something that does not involve flowers, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know
I am getting maied on 7-7-07. I finally ordered the bridesmaid dresses through bella formals their charmeuse color “mint julep” , however the color on their website does not look the same to me as it does in person it looks dake on the web…. but here is a link to the dresses I ordered they were reasonable too around $136 plus tax http://www.bellaformal.com/cgi-bin/descriptionA.asp?dress=d489
Do-it-yourself inviations: Micheal’s has a great cardstock, it’s color is Seaglass. It’s a pearlized aqua. It’s gorgeous for printing your own invitations.
Try this for Benjamin Moore paint:
“Bird’s Egg” or “Tropicana Cabana”
Or choose the most important aqua item already existing in your wedding decor, and have the paint store match it exactly.
I have heard that Benjamen Moore paints makes a spray paint in aqua. Can anyone tell me what the name of it is? Thanks
Hello everyone….Anyone know any websites were I can find favors for reception? My colors are aqua & White with a splash of silver. Also anyone have any pictures of receptions with those colors so I can get a few ideas?
any ideas you can contact me at jordans_mom@comcast.net
Thanx
I have heard other people recommend going to like Home Depot. Then bring in a swatch of the color you want. They can custom match the swatch you bring in. Then paint the boxes.
This is what someone said on the board earlier (you can read the whole board by scrolling down.)

Hey Tasha,
If you can not find boxes in your color, go to a craft store buy the boxes and either cover with material or just paint them than add ribbon of choice. Or use silver easier to find and add aqua ribbon.”
Could you just get big boxes and gift wrap them with solid paper? I haven’t seen any big ones. :-?
Hi,
I’m planning a bridal brunch with the theme, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. Do you know where I can find LARGE blue boxes? I’d like to make a centerpiece made out of blue boxes of various sizes. So far, I’ve only seen small party favor boxes (2″ x 2″ x 2″).
Trix
aqua colored shoes..you can get them custom made at David’s Bridal using the color pool.
Oooh, Jaime, aqua and red is one of my options right now. It would be beautiful with deep red flowers. Try some really full ones like peonies.
Aqua & Champagne look great together!
Happy Planning, Cheri

Does anyone has any ideas for some do-it-yourself wedding invitation?
Holy cow!!! I had already picked my blue and hadn’t realized how popular it was until I accidently came across this website. I think it is similar to David’s Bridal’s new “pool” color.
I am getting married in January of 2008 and have started planning. I think I am doing aqua
I like it! Theresa also wanted to know what people thought of this combination. What does everyone else think?
Hey,
Does anyone think aqua and champagne look good together.
Michelle
I found a website that sells robin’s egg blue invitations. http://www.youreinvited.net/invitation_collection/invitation_detail.php?id=162#
I don’t know how well the colors match, but it’s worth getting a sample to see what it looks like! Very elegant.

We are also having our wedding on April 28, 2007. I ordered my invitations from NotFromaBox and they have the color aqua for affordable prices. Also a ring bearer pillow at sophiesfavors. I got my bridesmaids dresses from morilee, she has a website and her dresses are in the exact color. Good luck!

Thanks!
Theresa
What type of flowers will suit the bride’s dress and aqua coloured bridesmaid dresses?
Jim Hjelm’s radiant chiffon bridesmaid dresses in the color “Tahitian” are a gorgeous aqua. The dresses are available in a variety of styles in that color and fabric.
I found a really lovely dress made by After Six in the color Meadow (fabric is Nu-Georgette). You can see it on http://www.dessy.com under the After Six tab, style #A6248. The colors on the website look nothing like the fabric swatches in real life, so never order strictly off the site. Always go in to the store to check it out.
Hi,
I’m getting married in september 2007. I’m having a hard time finding
aqua bridesmaid dresses anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
