Hey , I have this mermaid, Dark Red wine w lace up back by PC Mary’s. Never got a chance to wear it,finances(you know how that is..)so we married at the court house, In Las Vegas… We are redoing my wedding in 2012 but the colors have changed now, and I have found a different gown. It’s just been hanging in my closet collecting dust for the past few months…It’s gorgeous on,& so elegant especially if you are a shapely size. Right on time for the holiday. The gown is a size 26 which street size is a 20,( Mary’s run small) my measurements are 40/36/48. I have small upper but large hips, but can be altered down to a 16 or 18. Paid $1000, will to take $500.This dress was discontinued in 2010…purchasing must pay shipping cost, will ship anywhere.

This dress is in exquisite condition! Bought it from the original owner, and other than trying it on a few times, it remained in storage (did not get married). Did not alter the dress in any way, and did not receive any information from seller about alterations. To give you an idea of sizing: I was a street size 10 at the time these photos were taken, and it fit like a charm. Still fit at a street size 12, but it got a little tight. Also, to give you an idea of length, I’m 5’9″ and was barefoot in the photos.

I would find a simple red gown and have a black sash. Look for ballgowns or prom gowns that would look the part with the sash.

I used jeffliu8000 on ebay, do a search about the company on google, weddingbee or offbeat bride and you will find rave reviews. My gown was high quality heavy satin with gorgeous embroidery and beading. There are a few little things with the embroidery but they are minuscule and unnoticeable. I wouldn’t do it any other way, I highly recommend. If you have many differences you want from the original there is a language gap so keep that in mind.

I went back at the dress from china site. They have 100% feedback and offer a moneyback guarantee 7 days. Full refund. Another option is find a seamstress that can sew on the red details of this dress. I noticed it is a simple white strapless ballgown ( no detail) with added sheer red cap sleeves and wrap waist flowing into side sash and red appliques. The veil is a standard veil with those same red appliques on edge. Dress shops will customize your dress too. Not sure how much but it is worth finding out from a reputable shop/seamstress.

I meant no detail except for the corset back. Another thing you could do is add a red sash around a ballgown with a stunning brooch and let that sash hang from side even with the hem. Or choose a great sheer red bolero to go with a white ballgown. The possibilities are endless!

Also girls when ordering from other countries they have several check points to go through. I personally was looking at a dress on Ebay located in China and found through others that had ordered through them it takes WEEKS if not longer to get the dress AND they run smaller than what USA sizes are. Are they beautiful dresses-YES, but proceed w/ caution. There are plenty of beautiful unique dresses here and just like Stacey said a reputable seamstress will be more than happy to make you a dress here. Don’t lose hope…I didn’t
Hi! This is a Maggie Sottero dress that had a matching veil, called “Yolanda” that has been discontinued. I know because I almost chose it for my wedding in 2007!
