And even if you're getting the cake from Ron Ben-Israel, he's not going to ask you whether your wedding theme draws elements from 14th century Venetian court dress ... he'll ask you about your colors.
A mere generation ago, planning the wedding was a lot easier. It expressed your social class, and your parents' tastes. Even if they had particular ideas, the market couldn't offer much in terms of individual design. But these days, your wedding expresses your personal style in a way it never has before. Translation? The pressure's on!
Sussing Out Your Style
Some brides can solve the color question without thinking too much about style. They might have a life-long love for purple. Or, their venue might have strong hues they need to coordinate with. Or, when they picture their wedding, they already see their bridesmaids awash in certain colors. Easiest of all: sometimes they already have a theme in mind. For others, it's not that simple. Still, you can quickly pin down the styles that get your heart beating almost as fast as your fiancé does. Does Martha Stewart's relaxed, preppy look command your undying devotion? Do you pray you can someday actually subscribe to H&M magazine? Did Vera Wang's modern, moody Bolshevik collections incite heavy breathing? This gives you some major clues.
Destination: Home, Sweet Home
Still, even if you don't consider yourself a fashionista or a Martha devotee, all's not lost. Instead, let's turn our eyes back to home and hearth. Many brides aren't just looking forward to a wedding, they're also buzzing with anticipation over the dream house they plan to share with their beloved. And in the process of hunting down this love nest, most spent lots time mulling over their personal style. What did you picture in your mind's eye as the right setting for your new life together? A rangy colonial with a gabled roof? A warm, log-sided farmhouse with a wood stove in the kitchen? Or did you dream of finding a downtown loft bursting with recessed lighting and monochromatics, and flip through the new IKEA catalog to pick out your cabinets?
Or consider: do you dream of filling your home with antiques you can pass down to your children? Look to seasonal-inspired color schemes and ballrooms. Plan to drape your bedroom ceiling in yards of mosquito netting? A fairytale wedding drenched in candelabras, gold braid and gauzy swags might fit the bill. Collect exotic objects from all over the planet? Try an art museum for your setting, and a sophisticated or daring palette.
And if you're one of those eclectic types who pairs Amish rocking chairs with aboriginal artifacts, use this old designer trick: think of the last bit of art or furniture you bought to spruce up your house. That tells you what's on your mind lately.
Your Secret Romantic Style
So, you know your domestic style is Eclectic Contemporary. Congratulations: that means you're holding a black-and-white wedding with chartreuse accents and ostrich feathers in a huge SoHo loft, right?Hold it: not so fast. Why? Because many brides have a special romantic style that exists in a universe by itself. You might be thrilled picking out Art Deco style spaceships for your pendant lighting. And yet, when it comes your wedding, you might picture something a lot more traditional.
So even if you're the most fashion-forward girl on the block, take a moment to consider whether your wedding vision doesn't actually go back in time by few hundred years. You might secretly harbor a special place in your heart for New England autumns, Victorian elegance, English cottage style, or even timeless fairy tales. And if that's true, rest assured you've got plenty of company.
The Gown's the Guide
But how do you tell if this stylistic gotcha's operating in your case? Here's the secret: go get your dress. For many brides, The Dress is a journey that starts with many preconceptions, but ends in the unexpected. Finding the dress is usually a case of recognizing it once you've tried it on, not knowing ahead of time what you'll wear.
And once you've found it, the dress will offer some big clues about your Romantic style. Captured by a demure ivory gown covered in Alençon lace, with a button-back closure? Start your search with pastels and neutrals that suit a 1930's vintage or feminine garden wedding. Fell hard for a sleek, diamond white v-neck that's all about the lines? Investigate the crisper, more playful palettes we see today, such as black and white, aqua, bright pinks, lime green and corals.
Adjust for Geography, Venue and Season
Now that you've unearthed your personal style, it's time to look outward. If your style's traditional, for example, start with a hotel ballroom. If you want a strong seasonal feel for fall, try a rustic barn. Cultivated gardens go well with traditional, Martha-esque tints. Tents weddings are a blank slate: you can make them as classic or brazenly modern as your heart desires.Geography, too, plays a role in your colors. Tropical affairs in the blinding sun are often showcases for the brightest hues of all: coral and orchid, for example, or aqua and orange. Evening white-tie affairs in New York City? Not so much.
Many brides are in the middle, and want to weave in at least a seasonal hint. Fortunately for them, most seasons have palettes both traditional and modern. For example, a classic summer wedding might feature cornflower blue or sage, where a modern one draws on fuchsia and lime green, or orange, pink and black.
Even flowers help set the style. For example, a profusion of pinks in a bouquet of roses and peonies says English cottage. Mini-sunflowers and chrysanthemums says New England country. On the other hand, the color blocking in a hand-tied bouquet of purple callas is strongly modern.
Essential Color-Choosing Tools
Now you've got a style in mind, let's get to the art of actually picking colors. Here are a few can't-miss tools.Color Schemer
You'll need to create a free account, but this wonderful site has user-created palettes aplenty that you can search by keyword. Once you've registered, hit the "search schemes" button and enter words that fit your vision, like "fall,""garden," "sunset," "winter." Or free-associate with adjectives like "nautical," "peaceful," "modern," "preppy" or even "trendy." We promise, you'll be hooked.Sherwin-Williams Color Generator
Hit their site, and choose "FIND COLOR." Click on any color that draws you, and you'll automatically pull up two accent colors that complement it. Cool.Big Huge Labs Palette Generator
Have a photo on your hard drive that seems to capture your wedding's heart and soul? Upload it to a palette generator, which will kick out most of the main hues involved. Unless you're on the beach, use one of the more neutral, calming colors as a primary (e.g., use it for bridesmaids or table linens), and the more nervous, high-energy colors as accents (use these in table napkins, chair sashes, ribbons, and some of your flowers.)Make a Mood Board
Once you've narrowed down some favorites, start grabbing photos (for your own personal use, of course). Make a special folder on your hard drive, and save photos that seem to fit the colors, setting and season you're going for. If you've got any photo editing software, start putting them together in one big image. This will tell you more than thousands of words how your look will play out.Making the Most of Your Choices
Now that you've got your colors, how can you really make them shine? A problem that plagues some brides is an oversized fear of chaos. Although it's simple, most weddings aren't at their best when the groomsmen's vests and ties exactly match the bridesmaids' gowns, which in turn match the bride's sash. So, choose your colors wisely and stick with them, but strive for designing more than matching. Brown and ivory are neutrals when chosen thoughtfully, so use their many shades for a sophisticated, monochromatic look. If the bridesmaids wear mocha or persimmon, the men will look great in chocolate brown. And even if the flowers call for a palette of orange and yellow, let a little green or cream sneak in for dimension. Check for too much of a good thing: when the entire wedding party wears matching brown or black, the effect can be overpowering.
And They Lived Happily Ever After ...
When all's said and done, you're sure to have a great feeling about your colors, and how they fit your personal style. Even if the scheme you hit on isn't "I've loved that all my life!", it might be "I never would have thought of that, but I love these together!"Picking your colors is a journey, just like finding the dress, or knocking all those planning items off your checklist. But hitting on the right colors, theme and setting for the ultimate expression of your own Romantic style? That can be the pleasure of a lifetime.

hi stacey im was getting married this october unfortunately for some reasons i had to postpon it until january 2010, the colors for my october weddig were fall colors but now with the change i cant decide what colors go best with january??? my head is going crazy i need HELP plz
i want my wedding to be elegant but keeping it simple i dont kno if you understant me but i would realy like some advice i defenite want calla lillies in my wedding with tall vases. hope to hear from you soon.
Liliana,
there are many colors that go perfect with january. do you have a pic for your venue? i could take a look and help out!! a january wedding, how wonderful!! i am guessing you dont want a wintry theme or no theme?!? just a beautifully decorated wedding? do you want your calla lilies submerged? or simply in the glass cylinders? i will help in any way i can!!
Stacey,
I am getting married May 22, 2010 and I cannot think of a gorgeous color to go with the one I have chose, coral. I know there are different shades so it’s hard to show you the right one. My dress is beaded and diomand white, kind of vintage looking and the reception hall is a dark blue?!?! I need some advice….
alicia,
the room is beautiful. i would play off the chandeliers and your dress and bring in different shades of coral from light peach to deep corals, monochromatic style. i think the contrasting colors would work well in the room.
i thought about adding a fresh spring green, but i am worried it will look nautical. do you like pink? this could be added to coral. i have a couple of pics to see if you like the colors. another color that could be added is a soft yellow. okay i am loving the lilac!! it would work for a vintage style dress. just mix light to dark like i suggested with lavender intermixed.
Hi I have a problem
I choose my flowers and now I am at a loss as to what color the bridesmaids dress should be! The flowers are somewhere between grape and maroon with buttery yellow and mauve accent colors. The logical choice would be maroon but I am not sure I want to go that dark . Yelow and mauve are out… Do I have another choice ?
jeanne,
when is your wedding date? i want to make sure i get the best colors. also do you have a pic of a bouquet i could see? and waht is your theme or formality?
hello stacey… how are you..??? :)
about the guys tuxedos.. what colors should i use for the groom, and the groomsmen… thanks:)
i have a question for you. my wedding theme colors are peach and ivory.. i want the guys to look great..!
yeila,
it looks so classy on. what is your wedding style?
hi! i am great!!
okay, tell me a little about your details and i will see what works better. charcoal grey looks soooo good with peach!! think those great charcoal italian suits, nice huh?!? the guys would probably love it! i would ask them what they think they might like, and let them help narrow down choices. another option is brown, but most guys dont care for brown?!?
hello.. :) my colors are peach, ivory and im thinkin of using coral and ivory for the floral arrangements and centerpieces….. im still confuse about what colors to use for the bridesmaids dresses, groom and groomsmen…. i really hope u can help me.. i would like to have everything looking great..!
p.s. im using peach table linens for the receptions with ivory table runners..
thanks.. i hope to hear from u soon.. :) take care
yeila,
it depends on what look your after. can i see a pic of your venue? i might be able to see what would look best with that. cause there are so many shades that look good with peach, coral, and ivory. i personally love the charcoal or brown for the guys and have the girls in grey or brown. the colors would be soooo pretty against it. it also depends on their skintone too. champagne is also another choice with a brown sash. guys in brown with champagne or brown vests. another idea is have the girls in peach with green and coral bouquets.

hii stacey!!! :)
this is my venue..

i personally dont like brown, even thou it would look great.. :)
i dont kno if black tuxedos would look good with the colors i choose, because pretty everything is going to be ivory and preach. my friend told me about ivory tuxedos for the guys with peach vests.. :)
yeila,
i would get the guys opinion too. i have a great website that might help. grab a cup of joe and your fh and look thru here to see if something stands out.

i actually love the black and ivory or black and peach. another color to consider is black and mint green. green and peach look fab together! and green is already present in the greenery. the girls in mint green with peach bouquets would be beautiful. i made a board…
the bouquet pic is more orange but shows how it looks with green.
i have a couple different looks so you can see which one you may like!!

Hi Stacey,
I really like your ideas. I am getting married August 2010 and I am so confused with the colours i want one minute i like magenta the next minute i like turquoise/aqua blue and may be navy blue so am stuck. I still don’t have a venue so i cant tell you anything about that. But what i know i want some crystals with branch/willow inserted in some flowers for my centerpiece so am not sure what would match with that. I am not a big of pink but i like the darker purpply side of pink. For the flowers i definitly like roses or calla lillies i dont mind pink or red or ivory/cream flowers. What would you recommend?
Thanks
selina,

thank you! first, let me ask, when you envision your wedding what do you see? without thinking, the ideal will pop in your head. the branches with crystals will be beautiful!! i completely understand with all the beautiful wedding colors and decor, how easy it is to veer in different directions. what type of theme or setting did you want to marry and celebrate in? it will be difficult without a venue, cause without looking at the room layout, i wont know if you will need short or tall centerpieces etc. , the colors or the decor you want may not go well in the room. let me know when you get your venue and i will begin searching right away for the perfect compliments!
Hi Stacey,
Thanks for getting back so quickly. I don’t have a theme per say but I envision my wedding as elegant but not tradiitonal with unique long centerpiece with lots of swarvoski chain crystals, crystals on the table, flowers but not too much and then a bold color maybe either in shades of blue or magenta. I know what i want just hard to explain it. I think the first picture in the link best shows my vision. How ever my concern is finding branches that stand and hold the crystals and stil look good. http://www.etherealdecor.com/crystal_wedding_tree_manzanita_branches.html
The shades of blue and silver on you seasonal section is something i really like… Feathers on effiel tower vases is something i have been considering as well.
http://orlando-florida.olx.com/wedding-centerpieces-rentals-crystal-trees-iid-32842416
With regards to my venue I am having a curtural wedding so its more likely to be a banqueting hall or a hotel basicly large open space with stage and round tables (if possible). I hope this helps.
selina,
i actually have this idea. why not choose simple branches and put into tall glass vases or cylinder vases. in bottom of vase have a bed of rhinestones, then along with your branches why not insert a few jeweled branches? it would give you the look you want without worrying about hanging any crystals on the branches. you said you were getting married next august 2010. actually another idea came to mind have glass vases of tall greenery and add jeweled branches among it. set simple glass votives on the table. i actually think i like this idea best. if you want to cross into fall could you imagine fall leaf branches with jeweled branches within? omg! i think that would be beautiful!!
if you like this let me know.
you said you were leaning more toward magenta. i love that! i think pairing that with brown would be amazing with white centerpieces and jeweled branches. ( your local craft store should have these now, but i bet you could get a sweet deal during the holidays. they may even special order the branches. i know hobby lobby has them and they will work with you!! let me know wah ty you think about pairing magenta with brown, talk to ya soon. i hope the pic shows if it dont lwt me know……

(you have to scroll down almost to bottom)
Hello stacey how are ya, I love the picture with the jewelled branches. I am not sure about the brown though i know it would look fab and i like the colour brown i am not a big fan of it for wedding. I like the picture you sent but how can i incorporate the magenta into there as i want to use clear glass vase. I was wondering if I should have the branches then insert magenta branches don’t think will find magenta jewelled branches so do you think pink will do. I was also thinking of having a magenta table runner and then some votives with some crystals scattered/petals. What do you think. I know i keep changing my mind but am loving the colour purple at the moment do you think incorprating that would be too loud. Also would you think having purply feather plumes on effiel towers and branches with magenta jewelled branches as above would be too much. http://media.merchantcircle.com/28083788/P1040232_full.jpeg
I just love the feather plumes idea but i also love the branch idea becuase it beautiful and unique :?. Oh and by the way am from the UK so its not as easy to find the local craft store lol. Thanks
selina,
pink would work. you can get plain branches and spray paint them in a magenta then adding clear jeweled branches. yes i do like your idea sounds beautiful!!
ah!! i had a previous bride that was from the uk and they said that too. oh yes! i love the plume feathers. however, try going to saveoncrafts.com they should ship to the uk, there you will find everything you need. actually no i dont think it would be to much, it would suit a venue that had colored lighting etc. it would look very celebrity!! i would put it against a neutral cloth with a magenta or a purple runner though. think champagne linens with a colored runner.
hi stacey thanks for all you help and ideas. I feel like i know where i am going now. I really love the colours. As i said i am having cultural wedding and might have to change my colours as the family members where matching clothes with a hint of my theme colour. Therefore i was thinking if I need to my other option is blue as in turqiouse or may be aqua blue but I wouldnt know what kind of flowers I can have to add to the venue but have the same centerpieces as discussed above. Thanks
selina,
what is the color scheme your thinking of changing too? are you still wanting the jeweled branches? have you got your venue yet? if so, can i see a pic of it?
Hi stacey, well its just after discussing with family members they suggested that it would be diffcult to get cultural dresses in magenta or purple although I havent ruled out these colours i just wanted to have an alternative if i can’t choose magenta and purple. I was thinking turqiouse or aqua blue would that still work with the jewelled branches because i still want to have that. And also what kind of flowers can i have for my bouquet and the bridesmaids. I still havent got a venue. Thanks again
selina,
i guess the main question i need to ask is do you want it colorful or something serene but beautiful like aqua and brown ( for example) or white. i really want to help you pull in the magenta or purple you want through the flowers. would you consider pairing those colors with a aqua blue? or is that too colorful? what do you want the girls to wear? i am so skeptical of the colors and your venue. i would hate saying a color scheme without you having a definite place cause its a high probability it may clash, and that wouldnt look good in pics.
*magenta wedding
*magenta wedding board
once we get the color scheme down i can pair teh right flowers with it. you should carry callas and roses, which you love. and the girls just callas.
it will make it pretty difficult without it.
are you wanting to pair the aqua with white and brown? touches of magenta or purple in the mix? i strongly urge you to use clear jeweled branches and white branches ( like in pic) and have colored tablecloths cause you dont know your venue colors yet. then it would be easy to go ahead and buy the branches;set aside. then you could just rent the colored linens. you could also add colored water to these branches in purple/magenta or aqua using food dye. or have floralytes submerged into water for the colored effect( google search and google image) they are very reasonable. another idea is have an all white color scheme with the clear and white branches, tablecloths etc. then pull in purple or magenta lighting to give it a wash of color. stunning!
i so wish i was able to pull better suggestions but without the venue or other details i am limited. please let me know later and i will do whatever i can to pull this together for you!! you will need a basic color scheme first and the venue.
Hi Stacey thanks for all your help… at least i have more options now I will let you ones i get a venue.
Hi Stacey,
Also would using the pool blue and pink together work or is that like to kiddish? I really like those colors and my finace likes the green. Im so lost. please help!
My wedding is May 29, 2010, and I dont really know where to start. I know I want my main color pool blue. Is that okay for a spring wedding? what other colors can you do? I really liked the pink. I think it was watermelon but I dont know what color to pick that everyone will look okay in. I even wanted to do clover green but who wants to wear an all green dress or besides that what goes with it. I am soooo confused and need help.
Thanks Meagan
meagan, would love to help! yes, pool blue would be perfect for a spring wedding!! you cant go wrong with putting your bm in a shade of pink. it will give their skin a beautiful glow!! it really depends on the type of look your after.
*aqua and pink wedding
*blue and pink wedding
*aqua and pink wedding board
*blue and green wedding
i used aqua in my search to pull up more results, it is very similar. if you want to have the pool and green, i would have the girls in the pool blue with green bouquets. it makes a beautiful impact!! have white linens with green centerpieces and striped pool and green napkins. it would look chic. consider using floating apple centerpieces for the green. i love the green too. i have to say it is my favorite of the two. you can, have them all though. just put girls in pool blue and have pink and green bouquets. or just for you, since you love pink, you alone can carry a bouquet of pink flowers with white ribbon. you would stand out in the blue and green by bringing in just a pop of unexpected color.
here is an example of a table with all the colors, it is so springtime!!
*wedding pic ( it wont let me post the pic, just scroll til you see a table with lots of green, reference # 1864, is the pic) i also love reference # 1658, it is STUNNING!
look these all over and let me know which one stands out and we can take it from there. i want to see what color your drawn to more, but hands down i would have the girls in pink if you use pool and pink, or pool blue if you pair it with green. i hope this helps!
Hey thanks for the ideas… but i have one problem.. My sisters wedding was pink and orange so I dont want to copy and have a lot of pink in mine. My MOH dress was watermelon pink. I really want Pool blue as a main color. I dont want to do her wedding over again. Ya know what I mean. I want mine to be completely different. Ha. Okay here i have a piture of the center pieces i want… I also want calla lillies i like the star ones but i was going to use the pink ones..
sorry i wasnt done with the other one… but I just cant decide on two colors to start buying things and planning things out… If i did pool blue as the BM dresses cant i do like white and pink flowers… like white calla lillies and maybe some type of pool color flower and add just a little pink in it… maybe the BM dresses have pink sashes and MOH have a white one… something??? I need help…
so confused and I have the reception hall and church and photographer paid for just gotta do the rest…. Well let me know what you think… you got to be honest…
Well I havent heard from you so I was just seeing if you got my comments I hope to hear fro you soon… Meagan
I’m getting married this October, our wedding theme is “Fall”. Our wedding color was chocolate brown with green, but now we’ve just decided to keep it chocolate brown and add accents of fall colors (mango, green, veige, etc.) I have attached a picture of our hall. Let me know what ideas you have for our wedding. I think we are confused on what direction to go. We are thinking of chocolate brown linen with second veige linen on top or Sage green, Mahogany chairs
Lighting the walls with a sunset light, and flowers unsure
That’s what we are thinking, but I love your ideas and I am hoping you are able to give me suggestions or ideas. Thank you so much for all your help!
–A. Liz
A.Liz,

hi, i was putting together some ideas and forgot to ask. will it be fall rustic or fall elegant? that way i will be able to narrow down what i have. in the meantime i did make a board, it may not be exactly what you want but i hope it might be able to help you see what i think would look divine in this beautiful venue. i was thinking fall with a creamy dreamy look to it. the long table has flowers and candles. look inside the glass container it has a pieve of vine that makes it look super chic. let me know!! thanks! i have more ideas if you dont like this!!
Stacey,
My daughter is having an elegant fall wedding also. Her bridesmaid dresses are chocolate brown and the table linens will be ivory/ivory overlay, etc. The flowers will be very soft ivorys and peaches with hints of the lime greens. I love the board you made for Liz. How do I enlarge that so as to see everything better i.e. vests, head table, cake. Love the cake but can’t quite see the details. Love your site. We’ve gotten some great ideas from you. You’re fabulous.
Thanks,
Marnie
Marnie,
thank you! usually clicking on the pic will work. i will repost and if it still doesnt work let me know.
Stacey,
Is there another option to the brown tuxedos like possibly black tuxedos with some type of vest to blend with espresso bridesmaid dresses?
Marnie
marnie,
you could have black tuxedos with champagne would look great! you can choose espresso vest but i think th other looks better
Thanks Stacey. That’s exactly the direction we’re leaning.
Blessings,
A. Liz
A. Liz,
can you tell me a bit more of the flowers etc. you were hoping for? wildflowers? rustic? sorry about the pic. i will see i can just post it larger. i would love to help even more, since creamy look want what you were after! no problem! after i hear from you on mre specifics then i will go straight back to work!!
I have so many ideas and lots of pictures that I’ve found on the internet, but I think that was a big mistake; now I am overwhelmed.
Everything I see I fall in love with and my fiancé just says “Whatever you want” no help from him lol. This is why I need help of an expert like you.
At first we wanted everything green and chocolate brown (green linen, mahogany chairs, chocolate brown napkins, tall and short vases of green and white flowers with a touch of mango callalilies). Now, we’ve decided to disregard the green linen and go with chocolate brown linen and creamy linen on top of the chocolate brown, mahogany chairs, chocolate brown napkins, (go to the eventscape website, click on floral, then centerpieces on your right hand side and go to the second centerpiece; we were thinking of having this centerpieces to give it a fall warm feeling – but colors according to our theme.) and have shorter ones with small pumpkins/candles around the centerpiece.
As you may see, I’m overwhelmed and wish I was like some other brides you put something together and that is what they pictured. RRRwwwwrrrrr
Thank you for your help.
More pictures
More of fall
More pix
Ok Stacey, those are pictures I have been liking the most out of a lot more I have. I hope you are able to create something since I am a visual person and don’t seem to have a visual of our wedding
I also forgot to mention, my bridesmaid are wedding chocolate brown dresses with green flowers and I am using the one I sent earlier. Also, we would like to have pumpkins and leaves? Or, would it be too much at the reception.
Thank you and best of luck to the rest of the brides!

A. liz,
here is what i found including a board i made.
you mentioned leaves, have you considered maple branches as centerpieces. if you have access to branches , they could be free. when i think of fall the first thought is those beautiful maple or oak trees!!
Stacey!
I love your style! I am getting married June 26th 2010. We want a beach theme. We want it laid back more than anything.
Can you help me? My colors are pool and coral. I am thinking BM dresses in Pool. My FH wants the guys to wear tan linen pants. I am not sure how to coordinate these colors or what the color shirts the men should wear.
We are having a church ceremony and a reception in our local Shrine club.
Help!
Tammy
Tammy,
thank you so much!! are they gonna wear a tan linen jacket to match or are they wanting to axe the jackets? if they are might i suggest simple white shirts. it is a great look when paired with a vivd color like pool. you could opt to have them in colored shirts but i think the white would really make it look crisp. have the girls carry a combo of coral and white bouquets with flowing ribbons so any breeze will make it flutter. if you will send me a link or pics of the venues, i would love to give you more ideas and also if you would like a mood board i could work on that. thanks!!
He was thinking a colored “Polo” shirt but I was definitely thinking a white dress shirt. I think that would look great against the bright colors. He didn’t want a jacket. A mood board would be great!
I don’t have any pics yet.
Thanks for your help!!
Tammy,
did you have pics of your venue? that way i can look at it to see what decor and color placement works best. thank you!!
Tammy,
i read your post and knew you didnt have pics and i wrote it anyway!! lol
sorry about that!! my mind was thinking about the pool and coral. i will put together a mood board and post it to see if its what you were wanting. talk to ya soon.
Tammy,
i was looking at pics and came across the most PERFECT pictures! i saw this and i was literally mesmerized. i am hoping you love it too!! i love the flowers and everything, coral gerbera daisies would equally work with this!
* rehearal dinner

Perfect!!!! Absolutely what I wanted but could not put it together!!!
Thanks so so much!!!
liz,
could you tell me the colors and theme of your wedding. the ideal setting that way i can give the right ideas. and thank you sooo much!! also your venue does it have low or high ceilings. do you have a pic of the venue? i am thrilled to be able and help!!
Hi Stacey,
I love your ideas and vision and am hoping you can help me out. I am tossed on wedding colors for my May 2010 wedding, I am getting married at a Hotel Castle built in 1888 in the middle of the mountains, truly romantic. My vision is romantic yet classic, I was thinking pink and brown, black or champaigne and pink..not sure really..even grey is nice with pink..any thoughts and or advice?
leah, i am so happy i can help with such a important event in someones lives.

romantic and classy, i would stick with one classic neutral and pair one or two soft but deeper color with it. the castle shouldnt need much decor, you will definitley want the venue to shine thru on the day, especially with the mountain view and history. for the neutral color, which is what the guys and possible the girls would wear. i would go with classic black. most bridal parties prefer black over brown. black is a wear again color, if girls dont want black then have them in blush or champagne. for flowers i would have shades of pink( since youmentioned that twice, i am assuming you really want that color, however, i would have subtle floral shades fromlight to deep, even all the way to a reddish pink). the variation would be stunning. most castles would consider “royal” colors. which is another route you could go. say plum and champagne, or burgundy red/wine and champagne or grey. your right about grey, it is amazing!! you cannot go wrong with this color. it is right down classy when paired with a bold color. these 2 combos take the guesswork out of decorating. actually this pairing is on the dramatic romantic style, which is perfect for a up to date look in a castle. which i like the best. just to say… i used to wonder what decor i would use if it were me, and the venue was a castle. bridal party in rewearable and classic neutral color, green foliage centerpieces on white linens with lots of beeswax candles ( they look like they came fromthe castle era) , peach or dreamsicle orange bouquets for the bm and creamy white and green for me. edible favors with white ribbons and a buffet of different foods and cakes, it would be a romantic contemporay look. cause i just love blending old with new, it looks fresh. you may even like the color scheme i had in my head, if so, by all means please use it!!
then one day while browsing i ran into this beautiful site and saw what i had envisioned was similar…..

Hi Stacey
I am trying to finalize my colors/theme. I am getting married April 25, 2010 in a country club in Long Island, NY: http://www.theroyaltonmansion.com/rooms/index.html?room=ballroom My dress is lace and vintage so I would like to carry out a vintage theme. I am thinking about a navy/champagne theme and may add a third color: either lilac or pistachio. Do you have any ideas? I would like the bridesmaid dresses to be blue/navy since it is a flattering color on all skin types. Do you have any reception hall decoration ideas, flower arrangements and invitation ideas? Would you recommend a third color?
thank you!
sotiria,
that is a wonderful ballroom!! when i ran across this in my search i just knew it was perfect!! right down to the classic papers( programs etc) for invitations go for simple classic, just off white with black writing. i would use the lilac, navy, and champagne. find flowers in these colors in season ( and this color and flower combo is perfect for the time of year also), i love the sparse callas, but lilac roses will work just as well and give you the similar look. have girls carry all callas ( or roses, depending on the flower you get in lilac) in the lilac, purple shades and you carry one similar tothe one shown. i would keep the ballroom with just the centerpieces, favors, basics of wedding decor. i wouldnt have draping etc. i would let the ballroom shine in its stately manner. that will help with your vintage theme. white or white lace linens, simple silverware, glassware. i love that you picked navy for the attire. i realized the other day that i absolutely love navy blue!! it can be paired with anything and look classic!! oh yes, i do not recommend a third color. keep it simple and romantic!!
*Bethan + Adam
thank you so much, I appreciate your advice and will definitely go with the navy, lilac and champagne!
Hi Stacey… im getting married May 29th 2010 and i really need help with some matching colors for my wedding. I like Turquoise but i need more color combinations for it. A friend told me about Brown, and i think it looks nice, but brown its not my favorite color.. :) I want a romantic feeling at the wedding. I was thinking Turquoise, light turquoise and white. Im gonna use silver decorations at the reception but i dont know if i could use a better color with turquoise. i really need ur professional advise.. i have pictures of the reception hall if you’d like to see it.. thanks i appreciate it
yeileen,
yes, please i would love to see reception hall. that way i could see which colors would work best. would love to help!!
Hi Stacie, this is the reception hall..
http://skyroomnb.com/
thank u very much!!!
http://skyroomnb.com/
this is my reception hall… i hope u can help me.. :)
thanks
yeileen,
hi!! i was just looking at the room and i love it!! so unique. i do love the fact you are using lighter colors. i am not so sure about the turquoise though, i dont think it will bring out the best in the room. though you could have a white and turquoise scroll cake and still be on the safe side to give you your color scheme. it could work out for the bridal party attire. i am thinking the room should be done in peaches, whites, and darker green( in the foliage), possibly throw in some champagne. it has alot of brown in the room, so i wouldnt go with this color, it will make it to dark. i wanted to know will you be using linens? or bare tables? i didnt know what the venue allowed. will they allow open candlelight? the room looks to have a bit of exotic to it, although i cant tell what color the wall divider is. can you tell me?
also what color is the venue you are marrying in? and what colors do you dislike. i want to make sure i find ideas that will make the bride to be happy. i am seriously leaning toward a peach/apricot feel with white. with linens in champagne or creamy beige, bejeweled votive holders, and white linens with napkins in brown vine napkin rings. peach bouquets would be sensational against turquoise dresses and have guys in classic attire or polished khaki suits. i just think it will bring out the beauty of the room even more. let me know if you could work with peach family then i will go straight away and start pulling ideas.
Hi Stacey.. thank u for your reply. I actually like the peach and ivory color idea…. the venue allows candlelight and the wall divider is ivory..i believe. :) they have few ivory curtains around the place. i dislike brown, black. Im a bit confuse, the colors that would look great with the venue are peach, white, or creamy..? i do like them, they would look great.. i have a few questions.. :)
the reception hall has a lot of brown, do u think i should go for Peach and white, or peach and ivory? what would be my third color..? if i choose peach and ivory, would ivory chair covers and linens look weird..? i need ideas for the flower bouquet..
thanks.. i know its a lot.. :) i hope you can continue to help me
yeileen,
i went to the website, checked out all the pics. it has such a lofty feel. its a great place. how do you feel about grey paired with peach? if you dont care for brown or black, then i am assuming you dont want the bridal party in those colors? the more i look at this room i am thinking cocktail party. i have a website i want you tolook at. tell me if you like it, it has romance and laid back atmosphere. it is decorated in a way that makes you feel so welcome!! i am thinking this is the style to go for, it compliments everything about the venue. have silver/grey runners or beautiful grey linens with shimmery silver runners on tables, centerpieces of peach roses and greenery, accented by candlelight( simple cream votives in chic glass votive holders) have bridal party in grey, guys in charcoal grey. tip: for the centerpeices have subtle shades ranging from peach to deep peach or coral, have the girls carry vanilla roses tied with grey satin or silk ribbons, you carry a gorgeous bouquet of peach and coral( if youlike adding the coral) roses mixed with greenery. guys in charcoal, which is superb, the groom with a peach boutonniere or axe bout. all together and go for simple and stylish, pocket hankies in white. from the cords it appears they have tiny white lights in the greenery, if not, find out if you can add them. it will add to the ambiance of the setting, i would add candles everywhere in this venue, strategically placed, including every sitting area( on the side and coffee tables etc) i really think the shades of peach and coral would be so suitable here, with the grey and silver. silver runners on top of the grey with candlelight is always gorgeous!! for the chair covers,
*the wedding ( this one could be fabulous inspiration here!!)
*Everything in Its Right Place ( i am thinking simple more contemporary style chair covers( like at this website) , no sashes,. have in grey.

*Perfect Palettes :: Peach & Grey
i wnated to give you these xtra links, cause after looking at the pics, i saw it needed to be fine tuned. if you dont care for the coral you could always take cue from the website above that i gave, except add peach with the yellow. set on grey linens would be another great pairing!! i would stick with the grey and the peach but for the 3rd color i wanted to touch base with you first on your options. at first when i looked at the room, i thought wow! cranberry or burgundy red with grey would be killer inthis room. with tons of candlelight but i didnt know if you would go for that???
*burgundy and grey wedding board
i just want to help you narrow it down and be perfect for your day!!
Hello!!! i love the peach and grey idea… very nice. i really apprecite your effort and taking your time to help me. :) i think it would look very pretty, i cant wait!!
so, for the table linens would i have to get bottom one in grey and the top one in peach? table runners would be silver, right? i dont think the reception hall has that color (grey).. i dont remember seing it.
to make this easier: what are my top two 3-color combinations.? i like the peach, creamy (ivory) and silver combination you mentioned.. I really felt in love with peach.. i totally agree with you that it would bring out the best in the room. I would like to know, if I use peach and ivory with silver/glass decorations, (like a lot of crystals and candlelights), can i use ivory linens and chair covers in ivory with peach sashes? would it look weird? or i’d be better off using another color like grey or white with peach?
thank you so much, once again… i hope u can help me.. this is sooo hard..!!
thanks Stacey.. i hope hearing you very soon
yeileen,
i was looking at the carpet in the venue, and it looked teal and grey. that is where i pulled the grey from.
this is pretty much what i had in mind…..
i found a pic of exactly what i envisioned. i hope you like it. i see the silver grey linens. i mentioned a runner before, i would axe that and just go with a medium silvery grey in the cloth. let me know what ya think!! i gave a chair cover and another centerpiece. inthis venue i see romantic yet a lofty contemporary feel.
yeileen,
i am also gonna give you this pic, cause i noticed another way you could go. it has a new orleans flavor to it too. and i am gonna tell you, i hope i am not confusing you; i sincerely apologize if i am, but this pic is super stunning and it would have the ivory cloths and the peach centerpieces. you could add the paper lanterns and candles to this, also the crystals in the centerpieces. put the bridal party inthe greys we talked about. have grey OR ivory napkins your choice, but the kicker? just add creamy ivory chair pads to the venue chairs. i have to say, oops, this is my absolute favorite. you still get the silver from the silverware on the table, and make sure the crystals for the florals are on silver metal, have the florals in silver, you get it all with this one. have the girls carry solid peach bouquets, guys in their charcoal grey with bout. like i mentioned before. silver accessories for all. i could tell you really wanted to incorporate ivory and well…. this is it!! i personally hope this one stands out to you too. i just feel this might be the decor your looking for.
HI STACEY…!! NICE PICS. IM DEFINATELY USING PEACH AND IVORY . your not confusing me.. they just all so beautiful it was kind of hard for me to decide.. :)
thanks for all your help. i absolutely love it.
i love the chair cover pic you showed me. and the centerpiece too. very nice!! so, for the chair cover, could it be ivory? if i use ivory table linens and peach table runners.. or peach table linens and ivory table runners.. ?? im definately using candlelights. Its going to feel so romantic.. i really cant wait. thanks for taking to time to explain and help me.. I TRULY appreciate it.
yeileen,
i am so glad they were what you were looking for. yes make it ivory, i am thinking peach linens ivory runners. you are truly welcome and i wish you an amazing day!!
hi…i’m getting married this coming oct….i decided to change my motiff to teal and lime…could you help me in choosing what shade would my & my bridesmaids bouquet should be? tnx
lyn,
i would actually do simple green and white bouquets. if youwant a pop of color then have flowers with a small bit of fuschia like green orchids have or pale yellow. greenand white will keep it clean and fresh looking. have all green and all white flowers for centerpieces, and use them in groupings fromhigh to low, or on long tables have them marching down center and votives in between spaces. the pic i posted is for the bride.

Hello:
Thank you for helping all of us. You really do have an awesome knack for color. I was hopeing you could do the same for me. My fiance and I are getting married June 23rd 2010 at a castle in northern MI (Castle Farms if you want to google it.). I know I was something vintage (like my ring) and romantic, but I don’t want to give up the drama that color provides (I would also like to avoid pink). I am having a really hard time envisioning anything. If you can think of any color/design scheme that would really help me out. Thanks so much
Kate
Hello! You are just simply amazing with design ideas. I was wondering if you could help me out as well. My fiance and I are getting married June 24th 2010 at a castle in Northern MI. I know I want something vintage and romantic, but I don’t want to give up the dramatic effect of color. Can you help me come up with a design/color scheme that incorporates all of this. I am really have a hard time envisioning anything. Thanks so much for helping others with your talent!!
Sincerely,
Ashley
ashley,
when i think vintage and romantic, black or brown and white with a pop of color comes to mind. a castle wedding how romantic!! do you have a website or pic of the castle exterior and interior i could take a look at? colors that really go well with castle walls are burgundy, blues, yellow, green( love this). do you have a particular era in mind? cause there were certain colors that fit certain periods. like renaissance or medieval era. they were famous for decorating with fresh flowers or pale and neutral shades like white. garlands of mixed flowers like daisies and white and yellow roses could grace a castle hall. if youwanted to really indulge in the historical effect. medieval weddings did not have centerpieces or alters. instead containers of flowers and/or herbs were placed around the room, never on the table, that was for the food!! this would be a reborn but unique concept to do this at your wedding. instead of centerpieces you could have abundant table settings and vintage looking stemware with amazing monogrammed (oversized napkins) in the plates and a sprig of herb or yellow rose. then around the room have your abundant urns filled with flowers, and head table with a fresh garland with the ribbons puddling to the floor. have your cake table with a longer linen to puddle on floor for a enchanting look. cake can set on crystal platter. have it simple white with yellow roses trailing down one side which detail harkens back to an old style cake decor. crystal would make it look super vintage. very pretty!!cant wait to hear from ya!!
Hi Stacey,
i am getting married in August 2009, and i am really confused about colours. am thinking of Blues & ash, pink or green and gold. pls advice i really need your help.

blessing,
first tell me what your ideal is and where is your wedding taking place. can you give me a visual? i would love to help!! talk to ya soon!
Hi, this is my first time visiting the site and I love what I’ve seen so far. My Fiance proposed on Valentine’s day. We have set our wedding date for Jan 23, 20010! I am very excited! However, he and I just can’t seem to figure out what colors we want :-(
I like the colour crimson red or other shades of red and darker shades of pink and I want the bridemaisds with these bright colours. Since my Fiance is a sailor, we are trying to incorporate the nautical or ocean theme however want to keep the colour blue as an accent colour. We do not want to use dark shades of blue.
I don’t think anyone has used these colors together in the past. Could you please help? We just cant decide on what to do.
liz, hi!!
i know you said no dark blue but take a look at this and see if this is something you might want….
*Inspiration Board # 52: Navy Blue, Hot Pink & Ivory
*Cranberry, Pistachio, Navy
i honestly think navy blue is gonna make the red and pink pop better. i wasnt sure what shade youwere wanting in the blue. i made a board maybe this will help you visualize the colors. i do think the cake in a nautical theme of navy and white would work best, or add seashells to this cake.
Thanks Stacey for replying so fast. I wish I could say that it is perfect. However I am still not loving the idea of using navy blue.

Could you suggest something where we could use lighter shades of blue. Also could you give me ideas on the decor, keeping crimson or shades of red like cranberry etc. as the main colour and light blue as the accent colour. I am really confused on how to do it.
liz,

i know some of the shades are not light blue but you could swap out the aqua etc for th elight blue, this is to get a better idea of what you like. also are you wanting a nautical style theme or just touches? i went mostly nautical in my mood board.
Stacy,
On one of your responses to LaRue regarding the coral and brown colors you showed an invitation with a kind of brown scroll background and a brown ribbon. Do you have any idea where we could find those. My daughter is doing a similar color palette for her Oct. wedding. Thanks.

hi stacey!
i’m going to get married in sept next year. as eraly as now, i’m prepping and soritng out suppliers for D-day. in terms of color, i’m thinking of peony pink, slate gray and lilac. would this work? i can’t find good images on google for this color combination. worse, i don’t think anyone has used these colors together in the past. could you help?
ivy,
i do like this combo. it will look springtime, if it were me i would choose between pink and grey or lilac and grey. i think these 2 color combos would better suit september.

Hi I’m getting married in 2010 and I’m really confused about the colors I chose white but I need another light color to complement the white and I don’t know what color to choose. What would you recomend? Is an indoor wedding.
francheska,
actually green and white is perfect for any setting, any time of year, for any formality. i dont know what time of year but pale green and bronze/copper/rust is a absolutely breathtaking combo. cant wait to hear from you!!
pairing just about any color would be beautiful, it depends on the setting, what the venue looks like, what type of ideal vision you are after. do you want bold or soft and ethereal? also what formality is it? do you want a happy celebration choosing yellow would guarantee that!!
Hi Stacey,
I’m getting married on December 2009 and I cannot decide which color to choose. I really need your help. Please…
I have an idea of mixing claret with gold and green, do you think it will look good? please give me some suggestions.
My second option is Lavender with gold and green but I think it will not fit the season. help me decide….
And it will be held indoor (hotel) can you please give me some ideas how to decorate.
Gwynette
gwynette,
hear from ya soon!!
i love the lavender!!it is so easy for a winter wedding!! i am torn though, claret with gold and green is beautiful!! it actually depends on the look you are after. usually your first instinct is what you lean to more, are you wanting traditonal holidayish colors or want to try something a little different. you know, red and lavender would make an eyepopping combo. instead change the gold to more of a champagne gold, lavender, deep red, and use green ( in the greenery only).

Hi Stacey!!

I’m getting married in October. My wedding dress is kinda Ivory – Champagne. I was wondering if you could give me some tips on which colors I should use on the Decorations & my flowers.. Oh and the brides maids dresses .. Help
Thanks
bianca,
would love too!! can you give me an idea, if you want a fall theme or would like to go in a different direction. if so, do you have any fave colors? your fh? this will help me see what type of setting your after. also what about the venue colors? that way i wont search for pics or ideas that will clash. so many beautiful colors go well with ivory and/or champagne. one is burnt orange and chocolate. or you could do a mix of fall colors, no more than 3. when you walk in a flower shop are there any colors that stand out to you? for the bm any neutral or color that will compliment the skintones as well as the setting itself. neutrals are great about “blending” with almost anything. looking forward to talking to ya soon!
Hello Stacey,
I also need help on my wedding colors! I’m going to have a summer wedding in 2010 at the very beautiful Villa del sol d’oro in California. Here is the link to the site:
What do you think? Can you suggest any other colors that might work? Help!! Thanks in advance!
http://www.alverno-hs.org/about_villa.asp
The villa is a charming place thats vintage with lots of green and tan.
If I had to describe what I want for my wedding it would be feminine, slightly vintage, romantic and elegant.
With that in mind, my colors are all over the place. I think of blush, mauve, cream with silver or gold accents. Or muted pinks and peaches. I also like fuschia, yellow and teal. Or do I go opposite and choose bright summery colors like pink, orange and yellow?
As you can see I am completely crazy
ann,
that is absolutely stunning!! personally i would keep it simple and stay in the pink family. the pic i posted and i just knew that it was the color!! i would put the girls and guys in a neutral like brown or black. add lots of flowing greenery. if you want you could keep your palette monochromatic and use shades from light to deep pink. but i would suggest the single color, i think this color with brown would be stunning! if you wnat to bring in vintage then have silver or wrought iron candelabras( since there is so much beige i would use a antique silver accent) with greenery and fuschia flowers. think garden roses with the ivy trailing onto the table. simple ivory linens with white plates and silverware. for programs have a old world font printed program ( use parchment paper) for flowergirl have a hair wreath of simple ivy have her throw cream and fuschia rose petals, have your ceremony with lots of greenery and candles and standing candelabras with or without hurricane globes, ivy and simple floor length ribbon streamers. bring the fuschia into your arch or alter and the bridal party. i chose this color because it just fits this style of venue. think spanish also. in one aspect it has both italian and spanish features. the 2 can be closely linked in decor.
check out:

let me know what you think.
Thanks for replying back so fast! I’m liking the pink idea (my favorite color!) I also like having silver accents. I’m thinking of using antique silver vases or goblets to hold my reception flowers. Brown is great for adding more depth into the color scheme. Although for the bridesmaids dresses do you think brown might be too dark for pictures? I was thinking of having sage green or maybe even emerald green for the bridesmaids. Maybe it will blend in too much with the greenery?
ann, you welcome!!
i am loving the emerald green but take the bm to the shop to try on the shades to see which green flatters their skintone. for example, i want to show how beutiful green is with other greens. it is one of the most stunning colors to put outdoors even. here:

Hello Stacy,
I am getting married in Jan 2010 and am having major color issues. First of all, I have to tell you that my ideal wedding would be in the summer and outside, but that wasn’t an option for us. So we have settled for inside a hotel ballroom. The ballroom is beautiful, but not really my style. It is very burgundy and gold- the large draping curtains are burgundy with small gold stars, the carpet is burgundy with gold swirls, and the chairs are more red and gold. The walls are off-white. Here is the problem- I HATE gold, and burgundy doesn’t necessarily excite me either, but I LOVE a cranberry to dark red! I wondering what colors I can get away with in this space. I am looking for something elegant and romantic. I would prefer not to do the traditional red/black/white scheme as by best friend already did that recently. I was thinking, although others tell me this is awful, of a medium red with a dark plum color or multiple shades of red. Can you help? The pictures are of the ballroom and the hotel lobby.
rebecca,
you said you wanted outdoors. would you consider a wintry theme for your wedding? i am thinking candelabras dripping in cranberry roses, with rhinestones/crystals incorporated into the decor. lots of candlelight. i personally think cranberry and chamapgne with white. green will be automatic as foliage accents, such as evergreens. i think it would be stunning in this room. can you imagine settin gall this on champagne gold ( or light gold linens) have your bouquet with a rhinestone wrap with pale icy blue and clear rhinestones or just clear would do, go ahead and have bm in champagne, there will be enough contrast that they will stand out, especially with ruby like necklace and earrings. you could stand out with jewelry in a pale ice blue( for something blue). now on the centerpieces you could have 1 of 2 things draping rhinestone garlands or glistening wintry branches( which i prefer) with the roses.
if not we will look more!!
okay go withme on this one.

( isnt this just gorgeous!! could youimagine small containers of cranberry roses in between these majestic icy branches!, set on a champagne gold linen?) WOW!! let me know if you like this.
THIS is a fab website!! i just know you will find ideas here…

Thank you for your response! I wish I could say that I was completely on board, but I’m not loving it. What I do like was the idea of rhinestone/crystal accents and the candelabras with roses. What I am having a difficult time with is the gold still. A champagne color doesn’t seem too bad, but only if you think I can accent with silver because the thought of having gold or brass candelabras, vases, unity candle holders, etc. makes me cringe! The wedding is at night, so I was under the impression that darker colors would be better- what do you think?
Thanks again.
rebecca,
chamapgne would be fantastic paired with silver, i love silver myself over gold so i can completely relate!!
actually lighter colors are best at night. i have a pic that i previously posted and i want you to look at, just to see if you might love it, thinking this might be what your looking for? its silver red and white super romantic, light enough for a night time wedding. if you are wanting to go dark you can. think red on red, that is a fantastic look, with loads of silver accents, dripping crystals, etc. then have the bm in champagne. let me know. i am gonna help you any way i can!!
no problem!! at least we can narrow down what you do like. i thought i would start with that and see. my bad, i mentioned gold and you said your didnt like that!!
Stacey-
This is awesome!!! I love the tablescape with the champagne linens- so elegant! Thank you so much! Do you think that the red can be multiple shades? I really want my bridesmaids to be in red dresses- I already have them picked. What should I do for them for flowers? Maybe, red and champagne? Or a mixture of red, dark red and champagne? Also, do you think all this will look ok with my white dress? Thank you so much again- my stress level is steadily decreasing.
Rebecca
rebecca,
yes the red in multiple shades will work!! i think the varying shades of red would work beautifully; yes it will definitely work with your dress. i think you carrying the red bouquet with champagne ribbons would tie it all in. also you can get a champagne sash and brooch for your dress, if you want to add subtle color there. its okay if you choose not to though. i am so glad you loved the pic!!
Hi Stacy,i’m getting married in August 2009 and am having a toughj time choosing my colors.I was thinking Orange and peach or Lime and Fushia Pink.Any suggestions,am kinda lost.
jade,
both are great color schemes. if you go with orange and peach just remember, if you pair the guys in black it may look abit octoberish. if i used that i would pair the colors with grey or brown. lime and fuschia pink are the rage right now! your color scheme will depend on the look your after and your venues. i see your choosing bolder colors. have you thought about pairing peach, apricot, AND fuschia? if you wanted to go really bold you could add pops of lime here and there. if your wanting a classic look, i would choose the orange and peach, more vibrabt fun affair choose lime and fuschia. to look at some pics jsut google image lime and fuschia wedding; lime and fushia wedding board then try using hot pink in the place of fuschia for more results. also type in fuschia wedding board ( for other color combos). then google image peach and orange wedding and peach and orange wedding board. i also went ahead and and checked out orange and fuschia wedding
i have one link here that is gorgeous!!
