Choosing Your Wedding Colors: A Guide for Designing Brides
And even if you're getting the cake from Ron Ben-Israel, he's not going to ask you whether your wedding theme draws elements from 14th century Venetian court dress ... he'll ask you about your colors.
A mere generation ago, planning the wedding was a lot easier. It expressed your social class, and your parents' tastes. Even if they had particular ideas, the market couldn't offer much in terms of individual design. But these days, your wedding expresses your personal style in a way it never has before. Translation? The pressure's on!
Sussing Out Your Style
Some brides can solve the color question without thinking too much about style. They might have a life-long love for purple. Or, their venue might have strong hues they need to coordinate with. Or, when they picture their wedding, they already see their bridesmaids awash in certain colors. Easiest of all: sometimes they already have a theme in mind. For others, it's not that simple. Still, you can quickly pin down the styles that get your heart beating almost as fast as your fiancé does. Does Martha Stewart's relaxed, preppy look command your undying devotion? Do you pray you can someday actually subscribe to H&M magazine? Did Vera Wang's modern, moody Bolshevik collection for fall 2007 incite heavy breathing? This gives you some major clues.
Destination: Home, Sweet Home
Still, even if you don't consider yourself a fashionista or a Martha devotee, all's not lost. Instead, let's turn our eyes back to home and hearth. Many brides aren't just looking forward to a wedding, they're also buzzing with anticipation over the dream house they plan to share with their beloved. And in the process of hunting down this love nest, most spent lots time mulling over their personal style. What did you picture in your mind's eye as the right setting for your new life together? A rangy colonial with a gabled roof? A warm, log-sided farmhouse with a wood stove in the kitchen? Or did you dream of finding a downtown loft bursting with recessed lighting and monochromatics, and flip through the new IKEA catalog to pick out your cabinets?
Or consider: do you dream of filling your home with antiques you can pass down to your children? Look to seasonal-inspired color schemes and ballrooms. Plan to drape your bedroom ceiling in yards of mosquito netting? A fairytale wedding drenched in candelabras, gold braid and gauzy swags might fit the bill. Collect exotic objects from all over the planet? Try an art museum for your setting, and a sophisticated or daring palette.
And if you're one of those eclectic types who pairs Amish rocking chairs with aboriginal artifacts, use this old designer trick: think of the last bit of art or furniture you bought to spruce up your house. That tells you what's on your mind lately.
Your Secret Romantic Style
So, you know your domestic style is Eclectic Contemporary. Congratulations: that means you're holding a black-and-white wedding with chartreuse accents and ostrich feathers in a huge SoHo loft, right?Hold it: not so fast. Why? Because many brides have a special romantic style that exists in a universe by itself. You might be thrilled picking out Art Deco style spaceships for your pendant lighting. And yet, when it comes your wedding, you might picture something a lot more traditional.
So even if you're the most fashion-forward girl on the block, take a moment to consider whether your wedding vision doesn't actually go back in time by few hundred years. You might secretly harbor a special place in your heart for New England autumns, Victorian elegance, English cottage style, or even timeless fairy tales. And if that's true, rest assured you've got plenty of company.
The Gown's the Guide
But how do you tell if this stylistic gotcha's operating in your case? Here's the secret: go get your dress. For many brides, The Dress is a journey that starts with many preconceptions, but ends in the unexpected. Finding the dress is usually a case of recognizing it once you've tried it on, not knowing ahead of time what you'll wear.
And once you've found it, the dress will offer some big clues about your Romantic style. Captured by a demure ivory gown covered in Alençon lace, with a button-back closure? Start your search with pastels and neutrals that suit a 1930's vintage or feminine garden wedding. Fell hard for a sleek, diamond white v-neck that's all about the lines? Investigate the crisper, more playful palettes we see today, such as black and white, aqua, bright pinks, lime green and corals.
Adjust for Geography, Venue and Season
Now that you've unearthed your personal style, it's time to look outward. If your style's traditional, for example, start with a hotel ballroom. If you want a strong seasonal feel for fall, try a rustic barn. Cultivated gardens go well with traditional, Martha-esque tints. Tents weddings are a blank slate: you can make them as classic or brazenly modern as your heart desires.Geography, too, plays a role in your colors. Tropical affairs in the blinding sun are often showcases for the brightest hues of all: coral and orchid, for example, or aqua and orange. Evening white-tie affairs in New York City? Not so much.
Many brides are in the middle, and want to weave in at least a seasonal hint. Fortunately for them, most seasons have palettes both traditional and modern. For example, a classic summer wedding might feature cornflower blue or sage, where a modern one draws on fuchsia and lime green, or orange, pink and black.
Even flowers help set the style. For example, a profusion of pinks in a bouquet of roses and peonies says English cottage. Mini-sunflowers and chrysanthemums says New England country. On the other hand, the color blocking in a hand-tied bouquet of purple callas is strongly modern.
Essential Color-Choosing Tools
Now you've got a style in mind, let's get to the art of actually picking colors. Here are a few can't-miss tools:Color Schemer. You'll need to create a free account, but this wonderful site has user-created palettes aplenty that you can search by keyword. Once you've registered, hit the "search schemes" button and enter words that fit your vision, like "fall,""garden," "sunset," "winter." Or free-associate with adjectives like "nautical," "peaceful," "modern," "preppy" or even "trendy." We promise, you'll be hooked.
Sherwin-Williams Color Generator. Hit their site, and choose "FIND COLOR." Click on any color that draws you, and you'll automatically pull up two accent colors that complement it. Cool.
Big Huge Labs Palette Generator. Have a photo on your hard drive that seems to capture your wedding's heart and soul? Upload it to a palette generator, which will kick out most of the main hues involved. Unless you're on the beach, use one of the more neutral, calming colors as a primary (e.g., use it for bridesmaids or table linens), and the more nervous, high-energy colors as accents (use these in table napkins, chair sashes, ribbons, and some of your flowers.)
Make a Mood Board. Once you've narrowed down some favorites, start grabbing photos (for your own personal use, of course). Make a special folder on your hard drive, and save photos that seem to fit the colors, setting and season you're going for. If you've got any photo editing software, start putting them together in one big image. This will tell you more than thousands of words how your look will play out.
Making the Most of Your Choices
Now that you've got your colors, how can you really make them shine? A problem that plagues some brides is an oversized fear of chaos. Although it's simple, most weddings aren't at their best when the groomsmen's vests and ties exactly match the bridesmaids' gowns, which in turn match the bride's sash. So, choose your colors wisely and stick with them, but strive for designing more than matching. Brown and ivory are neutrals when chosen thoughtfully, so use their many shades for a sophisticated, monochromatic look. If the bridesmaids wear mocha or persimmon, the men will look great in chocolate brown. And even if the flowers call for a palette of orange and yellow, let a little green or cream sneak in for dimension. Check for too much of a good thing: when the entire wedding party wears matching brown or black, the effect can be overpowering.
And They Lived Happily Ever After ...
Picking your colors is a journey, just like finding the dress, or knocking all those planning items off your checklist. But hitting on the right colors, theme and setting for the ultimate expression of your own Romantic style? That can be the pleasure of a lifetime.

Thanks, stacey, i love the cupcake idea, it seems that it would be easy to have as many cupcakes as guests plus a few extra of course. I’m actually considering doing them myself though, for possibly 300 guests. is that a total disaster waiting to happen or what?
Hi Alicia
I’m planning on making my own cupcake wedding cake too! I think it gives it a more personal touch and of course alot cheaper!! Although i’m only going to be making a 100 rather than 300!!! Good luck though!!!
thanks jacqui, i’m trying to get an idea of what should go on top of mine, my colors are black and white with red. i’m trying to avoid the valentine’s day look. i guess i should start making cupcakes now for practice.
Please HELP i have no idea where to start. i sit down and try to plan, but instantly run into a wall everytime.
I’m getting married August 15th of 2009, when my fiance comes back from Bahrain (Navy).
Colors, reception area? food? so overwhelming!
jessica, do you have a few more details? like the type of mood you want to set? is it casual semi formal, formal? do you have a venue? what color is it do you have a pic? i would love to help, i see your also in a dilemma. if i know what your dream is i will begin searching for ideas that may help narrow it down.
Stacey,
i was looking through colors and really like champagne. But I figured I’d need another color to go with that. I don’t know if I want a light/pale pink, or a sage green? Any ideas. I was also thinking of a pale yellow, but I dont know if that’s be too much of a clash with champagne? Our reception venue is at the Ramada Inn in Philadelphia, and we have yet to find a church, because we don’t belong to one here, and the two churches I already talked to don’t allow photos taken inside, which I think is ridiculous! I want a fun mood, with tiger lillies or stargazer lillies, formal too!
jessica, heh, google image green and ivory wedding. it wont do the champagne color combos, so i put closest in to get more images. i think you should do that hands down. keep it simply elegant. if you must have another color just add a pale pink or yellow to your bouquet so it will be personal. this will be a color combo that is fresh and will be classy years down the road. timeless.
dont forget berries would be a good thing to use for a pop of color in floral decor. example. google image champagne roses to see the color and add sprays of fake berries. they have yellow, blue, etc.
i dont know if you like this idea. but a grape theme wedding would be beautiful with champagne color. i mean for a theme in your green and champagne wedding. google image green grape wedding cake. and just use the grape motif everywhere. i think an arch with hanging grapevine and fake grapes is amazing!! so romantic and great for august.with a champagne and white background. and dont be afraid to use assorted color grapes. give out grape jelly for favors in elegant oraganza bags. i hope i am not confusing you. take a look though. it might be worth looking into. it would be so easy to put together and super easy on the budget. i dont know a store around that dont have bunches of fake grapes!!
google image tips for brides on budget semi homemade wedding 4th pic 1st row. has what i mean sandra lee put it out, go to the bookstore if you need more details. its sandra lee desserts book. as a matter of fact, google search … wedding reception tips for brides on budget favor ideas has the outline with pic!! good luck!!!
jessica, i found one more wedding pic to check out. Go to “Old World Sage & Ivory Wedding” in Wedding Wednesdays at tastefullyentertaining. that is breathtaking!!
HELP!! I have a March ‘09 wedding that will be held early March (the first weekend in March to be specific). I’m trying to decide whether I should use spring colors (pastels and such) or if I should go with winter colors since, technically, it will not be spring yet. The wedding will be held in a southeastern state so the weather will most likely be fairly warm (compared to other parts of the country).
Also, I have no clue of what colors to use. I know that most women begin contemplating on possible wedding colors long before their engagement, but I really hadn’t given it much thought and am having a hard time narrowing the possible color combinations down. Any suggestions?
hi alex, what color is the venue your marrying in? i i can help you more if i know what colors exist in the site. you can use either spring or winter colors. my suggestion is discuss you and your fh fave color. let me know and we can find a scheme with that. but that would be my starting point. so many colors would fit in march. then we can pick a shade that compliments beautifully.
still unsure then go with pale mint green and ivory with girls in dark green or blue. i love a deep yellow or a green. which you can google image yellow and green wedding or any other colors you can think of also google image wedding inspiration boards and stylemepretty.com click on march or feb.
Hello.. I am beginning to prepare for my wedding which is in Spring 09. My first step is picking out colors; however, I am running into a bit of a problem. My fiance is in the Marines and wishes to wear his “dress blues.” (if you don’t know what that is then just google.. tons of results!).. I don’t want my wedding to look patriotic but I do want everything to go together. If ANYONE has advice that would be wonderful. I am just really stuck. Pictures would be great too.
jo, hi i see your dilemma, what are some colors you both like. there are alot of colors that compliment blue. spring is more of a pastel season, dont have to be but this is usually the norm.
have you thought about navy blue and yellow? light blue wedding? i want you to google image blue wedding and some of the others i have mentioned. and any other colors that pop in your mind. i wouldnt choose from the red family that will look to patriotic. but something soft and refreshing. i think blue and brown wedding looks fab. but is used often.
google image spring wedding inspiration board for ideas. check out what pops at you and write me back. i love to hear the colors brides are drawn to because it helps make the day more happier. start with a colors that touch your heart, special day? birthstone? a loved ones fave color. usually if i know this i can find a shade that suits the venue perfectly!!
i google imaged the dress blues. google image military style wedding and look at those ideas. i loveee a navy blue and beige wedding with lots of white and touches of pale pink. yes this will work so beautifully!! as you can see when you google image blue and white wedding. google image wedding inspiration board casual ( i know it says casual but i think it will have ideas!!) and also wedding inspiration board preppy (lots more that will go with his dress blues!!) i love the blue and green!! this really stands out for me!!
pls give me two shades of green that complements each other
yemisi, google image green colored wedding. then pale green wedding, then dark green wedding, i also google imaged medium green wedding it had a few ideas.
i personally, depending on wedding season, a elegant mint green and say an a medium or emerald green with white or cream . for a pop of color in your bouquet add bouquet jewels, just google image those words and you’ll see what i mean. they are fantastic!! the 2 would play well off each other. you know monochromatic weddings are the ticket now.
actually most greens work together. you could pick your fave color of green say emerald for example, then add light green to it with white like on the google image of emerald green wedding (the one of snippet and ink website, it may have gold and white with it but i LOVE this wedding. its just elegant without being fussy!! google image each color of green you like “pale green wedding or apple green wedding” (this is a hot color too) and you will find something you love and 2 colors of green you cant mess that up if you tried it is practically failproof!! so have fun and best of luck!!:P
yemisi also google image sage green wedding then celadon wedding ( on the celadon check out that great wedding on ocean state bride web!!) can you say wow!! and google image olive green wedding just romantic!!
:-? Just wondering if anyone has seen or known someone who has done a cupcake wedding cake. ya know, instead of an actual cake it was teirs of cupcakes. i thought about doing that with a small cake for us to cut and feed each other, so as not to take away from tradition. any thoughts?
alicia, hi just google image wedding cupcakes!! there is nothing to it and cheap just doll up your fave flaor of cupcakes and buy tiered stands at hobby lobby, walmarts are smaller. or 2nd hand stores might have something vintage. i was thinking that 1 small layer cake for top and the rest in cupcake tiers would be fab!! hope this helps!!
Hi
I’m getting married in june 2010, i’ve picked my colours of chocolate, cream and green, need help with flowers now, i have no idea where to start!!!!! Also the gm, bm and ushers will be wearing brown, can you help with ideas for these aswell??!!!! 8-|
jacqui, google image brown and green wedding and then brown wedding also try brown groomsmen this will give you a great look at some attire. put guys in brown and brown vest and put groom in brown and cream vest. or put em all in same attire and change color of bout.
google image brown bridesmaids. also go to davids bridal for looks under wedding color. google image green wedding bouquet. i would start off with my fave flower or just one type flower thruout with greenery it gives more elegance. i would pick one of the most popular flowers: green hydrangea. the heads make big impact with a few stems.
just google image cream hydrangeas for you dont be afraid to add a touch of color ONLY to your bouquet say your fave color? example is google image green hydrangea wedding bouquet 2nd pic 2nd row, with girls in brown carrying green hydrangea, have a simple cream and brown reception with centerpieces of green flowers, (google image green hydrangea wedding and green hydrangea wedding cake) if you want it to be amazing.
check out this wedding on brides.com: mandy and mark big sky mt. under real weddings. its amazing except put girls in brown.
i hope this helps!! dont be afraid to add cream roses to the mix (your bouquet and arch only) it is heavenly!! especially if you have a petal strewn aisle!! dont worry about adding roses to centerpieces just scatter candlelight and cream rose petals on tables around green hydrangea containers. this will keep more than 1 flower cost down and still give the feel of more!!
I’M GETTING MARRIED IN 2009 AND MY COLORS ARE CLOVER BUTTER AND SILVER.GUYS ARE WEARING BLACK TUX WITH VEST AND TIE TO MATCH THE LADY THEY ARE WALKING. WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR FLOWERS? I WAS THINKING BUTTER FLOWERS SILVER ACCENT FOR MY CLOVER WEARING GIRLS AND THE OPPOSITE FOR MY BUTTER WEARING GIRLS? ALSO WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT MY COLOR THEME?
sonyette, i love your color scheme!! and the ideas for flowers!! google image clover green wedding color and butter yellow wedding color. yes i love the way your doing the flowers!!
THANKS STACEY!
Thank you stacy!!!!
I’ve tried on both burnt orange and dark red dresses and both colors went really well with my skin tone. Most of my girls are about my shade so they should fit most of them very well also.
Hi all,
I am getting married 04-03-2010. (Easter Saturday)I am in New Zealand so it will be heading into our Autumn (Fall) season. I am going to be wearing a dark red fabric similar to the photo with my bridesmaids in either an olive green or black. I am just wondering about centerpieces for the tables and other decorations we could have around the room. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have included a photo of our venue to give you an idea of where it is all going to be happening.:D
katherine, check out the all white wedding decor at the kimvallee website. i also recommend google image olive green wedding and wedding centerpieces in red. when you do this one click 3rd page and go to chess coffee website look at that great red wedding!!.
i was thinking castle wedding decor and colors. with the fabric below i wouldnt add but just a one color, color scheme with amazing greenery, candlelight etc. it would look better and not to busy. i would do the all red or all white decor and keep it simple. if you wanted say a multicolor bouquet keep it to your bouquet only for a standout effect. hope this helpes. also google image all white weddings for ideas, i think you will be pleased and for a budget friendly wedding choose 2 or 3 inexpensive blooms. monochromatic looks very lush!! good luck!!
I am getting married 8-14-2010…i plan on using all white daisies. my grandmothers name was daisy so there is a lot of meaning behind the whole idea. i need some help choosing what colors would go well. the reception is going to be outside. i really like bright teal and navy together. any other ideas???
teresa, hi my fave flower is a daisy and i loveee your color scheme as well!! so fresh and still romantic too. i saw a wedding once and the main color was navy and white with teal accents in the ribbon, main theme was monogram which was teal and navy on white, and lots of white flowers: with daisies this would be fab!! put girls in navy or teal though navy can be worn year round in a wear again dress. classic color !! okay got some google image pics for ya: wedding board daisy theme, teal wedding, blue and yellow wedding inspiration board(love the yellow and blue also) navy and yellow(this too) but may fave is under navy blue wedding on the preppy wedding website, using teal as the accents can you say wow!!
I NEED HELP!!!!!!! What colors go well with orange? Not bright orange but like a deep, pumpkin orange.I was thinking dark red and gold? Keep in mind that this is going to be a fall wedding :-”
nakeyia, hi i loveee this color combo, go with dark red as main color with accents of burnt orange and golds. use calla lilies mixed with fall berries for simple elegance tied with amazing gold ribbons.. if dont want rustic use a dark green foliage. put girls in dark red unless their skin tone can take dark orange, this is a tough color for some to pull off. add lots of candlelight and twinkling lights intertwined in grapevine, make sure is thin and not thick it will look more gorgeous that way. yes this will work even in an upscale wedding!:P the inspiration i found was google image fall wedding inspiration board. check all of them out. my fave was last row 1st page, 2nd pic. or inspired events by necia. also google image burnt orange wedding and fall wedding. use these color combos to check out colors. congrats!!
annette, check out Floral Arts Bahamas
dont pick between teal and lime or purple. have teal and lime with touches of lavender and white. and you have a winner without the pressure of color choosing!! tropical to boot!! also google image lime wedding (see Primadonna Bride for example) for more!!
Thank you Stacey!!
I got some really good ideas from your suggestions.
Hi Stacey (and everyone else out there!),
I’ve been doing a lot of research online and have decided that I definitely want aqua & lime in my wedding (Caribbean, March 09). Flowers may be a little hard to get in aqua and lime, so I was thinking of having my bouquet be white with aqua/lime ribbons and accenting my outfit (sash or shoes) with aqua as well. I was also thinking of having a white flower in my hair if I go really simple. For centerpieces, do you think peach/orange roses would be too different of a color…with aqua/lime accents on the tables as well? I’ve found aqua/orange, lime/orange and aqua/lime, but not all three together online. As long as one color is dominant and the other two are accents, it should be okay, right?
Thanks A LOT for your advice…who knew choosing colors would be so hard!
heh annette, yes yes and more yes!! love it absolutley you couldnt have picked anything that works better than that!! google image teal and peach wedding and you’ll see how this works the only difference is you’ll be adding lime to this color palette. hope ya like it!! your gonna have a great looking wedding!! post pics when your done!!
HI ALL,
anybody ever done or witnessed a Kente theme wedding? please tell, cos i really need help. any links and websites would be extremely helpful.
cheers.
I am getting married in May and I would like to know on some ideas for wedding colors…I would like the bridesmaids to either wear a green color or a blue color..and i just dont know of colors that could go with that…please help meee!
april, i am at the library cant send pics, so just google image blue and green wedding for so many beautiful ideas. i would go with these 2 colors, when i saw the 2 colors you were looking at i said no other colors are needed you have your scheme!!:P if you need another color add a touch of pink or yellow or sadn beige. or just use a blue and white theme with touches of different greens, and lots of white or off white. off white DOES look good with these 2 colors and will warm it up, stark white will be cool effect. i personally love the off white or vanilla white.with pops of lemon. talk about beautiful and perfect for a may day wedding. actually that could be a theme may day.how fun!!:P hope this helps!!
Hi,
I’m getting married in the caribbean next March and am tossing around a bunch of color ideas. So hard to pin it down. I definitely want something tropical - bold colors. I really have no bridesmaids, just a flower girl and would like to accentuate her dress and mine with one of the colors - I definitely want at least 2. I was thinking of purples (love orchids) but have been lately been looking at lime/teal combos. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Annette
Annette,
I’m no expert, by any means, as you can tell by my posts. but i had a girlfriend (very trendy and creative) she did her wedding in lime green and hot pink. mostly the green with little punches of hot pink. that’s where the orchids came in. it looked awesome. Also as a sort of program for the wedding she gave out those paper fans with program printed on them. that might be an idea since it’s probably gonna be hot in the carribean. Just an idea.
and….
Stacey,
Thanks for the tips. I still have so many ideas in my head it’s hard to pin down the ones i want. and really where to start is the issue. We don’t have a location pinned down so that’s partly the problem i think. But while i’m at it. I would like a very simple dress, with a red sash. but i would also like a very bold red bouquet. would that be too much. also, i love orchids also, but roses and lilies too…oh decisions, decisions. and i l did absolutely love the black lace dress…thanks for the help. when i find somethings i’ll send them to you….
Alicia,
Thank you so much! I really love the color combos and the fan/program. BTW, red sounds awesome. If my wedding wasn’t at the beach, there would definitely be red in it. I also want a colored sash on my dress. I recently was told about a black, white and red wedding with accents of silver…
Annette
You’re very welcome Annette. if i could pull off lime green i would definetly do that. that, and if my friend hadn’t already done it also…she had the cutest ideas. she gave each family a silver bell at the reception with something from the bride and groom engraved on it. the coursages were green flowers. and i’m pretty sure she mixed white orchids in there somehow. a black sash sounds pretty awesome too. with a red bouquet. hmmm….really simple lines is what i’m going for. I love, love, love red. another question would be what type of flowers, can you mix? and which ones would go together? so many questions, so little time.
alicia, go with all three flowers in your bouquet and choose only one say the roses for the rest of the wedding. this will help on costs and planning as well so your not overwhelmed and you still have what you love. it will make your bouquet stand out and be special to you also. the bold bouquet will not be to much. but would you consider an all white bouquet with a bold red ribbon? if not use all red. in texture and types of the flowers. just make the boldness in the flowers and the make. match the red to your sash. that would be pretty. also put bm in solid red and if you have a red bouquet put them with a white bouquet. your wedding will be gorgeous, and so easy to put together.
Just wondering what’s the opinion on red, black, and white as your colors. To overdone? How can you do it without it looking like Valentines day?
alicia, hi absolutely not valentines day!! this is a classic even modern if you wish wedding. google image red and black wedding then google image red and black and white wedding just as i have typed it. there is 2 that drew my attention. the white dress with black lace. then the glamorous gowns website. add that fresh green to the mix to liven it up if ya want. you can do so much with this theme. the flowers can make it less valentineish(think those fab red and white orchids to make it look classically hip.), which is not overdone and not gothic, make it fun! and romantic!
go with what you love!! and add your personal twist to it. write back and let me know which ideas you like best and we will go from there.
hei, thanks a lot Stacey, that was really helpful. God bless you!
kayla, go with a apple or burgundy and gold. i dont remember what season your getting married but this will work year round. plus a burgundy wine looks fab on everyone. so does periwinkle.
michaela,
check out Studio G Occasions (the reception colors is what i would pick, just add olive green or sage to this mix with plenty of white or ivory and gold)
i love the copper the best!! with the burgundy rust red it looks the best with his dress greens according to the pic collage i made on word. i couldnt send it sorry wont do for some reason.
i looked at everything and i like the calla lilies with the mixed colors like you wanted in one flower. google image olive green wedding on 1st pic to make it romantic also copper wedding, and alfred angelo BM dress (attached). i wouldnt look at anything else or any other colors, roses come in shades of this too!!!
