Choosing Your Wedding Colors: A Guide for Designing Brides

There's no question: choosing wedding colors is one of the earliest, trickiest tasks a bride has to cross off the list. You can't even talk your florist until you've worked this out.

And even if you're getting the cake from Ron Ben-Israel, he's not going to ask you whether your wedding theme draws elements from 14th century Venetian court dress ... he'll ask you about your colors.

A mere generation ago, planning the wedding was a lot easier. It expressed your social class, and your parents' tastes. Even if they had particular ideas, the market couldn't offer much in terms of individual design. But these days, your wedding expresses your personal style in a way it never has before. Translation? The pressure's on!

Sussing Out Your Style

Some brides can solve the color question without thinking too much about style. They might have a life-long love for purple. Or, their venue might have strong hues they need to coordinate with. Or, when they picture their wedding, they already see their bridesmaids awash in certain colors. Easiest of all: sometimes they already have a theme in mind.

For others, it's not that simple. Still, you can quickly pin down the styles that get your heart beating almost as fast as your fiancé does. Does Martha Stewart's relaxed, preppy look command your undying devotion? Do you pray you can someday actually subscribe to H&M magazine? Did Vera Wang's modern, moody Bolshevik collection for fall 2007 incite heavy breathing? This gives you some major clues.

Home Decor

Destination: Home, Sweet Home

Still, even if you don't consider yourself a fashionista or a Martha devotee, all's not lost. Instead, let's turn our eyes back to home and hearth.

Many brides aren't just looking forward to a wedding, they're also buzzing with anticipation over the dream house they plan to share with their beloved. And in the process of hunting down this love nest, most spent lots time mulling over their personal style. What did you picture in your mind's eye as the right setting for your new life together? A rangy colonial with a gabled roof? A warm, log-sided farmhouse with a wood stove in the kitchen? Or did you dream of finding a downtown loft bursting with recessed lighting and monochromatics, and flip through the new IKEA catalog to pick out your cabinets?

Or consider: do you dream of filling your home with antiques you can pass down to your children? Look to seasonal-inspired color schemes and ballrooms. Plan to drape your bedroom ceiling in yards of mosquito netting? A fairytale wedding drenched in candelabras, gold braid and gauzy swags might fit the bill. Collect exotic objects from all over the planet? Try an art museum for your setting, and a sophisticated or daring palette.

And if you're one of those eclectic types who pairs Amish rocking chairs with aboriginal artifacts, use this old designer trick: think of the last bit of art or furniture you bought to spruce up your house. That tells you what's on your mind lately.

Pink & Champagne Wedding

Your Secret Romantic Style

So, you know your domestic style is Eclectic Contemporary. Congratulations: that means you're holding a black-and-white wedding with chartreuse accents and ostrich feathers in a huge SoHo loft, right?

Hold it: not so fast. Why? Because many brides have a special romantic style that exists in a universe by itself. You might be thrilled picking out Art Deco style spaceships for your pendant lighting. And yet, when it comes your wedding, you might picture something a lot more traditional.

So even if you're the most fashion-forward girl on the block, take a moment to consider whether your wedding vision doesn't actually go back in time by few hundred years. You might secretly harbor a special place in your heart for New England autumns, Victorian elegance, English cottage style, or even timeless fairy tales. And if that's true, rest assured you've got plenty of company.

The Gown's the Guide

But how do you tell if this stylistic gotcha's operating in your case? Here's the secret: go get your dress.

For many brides, The Dress is a journey that starts with many preconceptions, but ends in the unexpected. Finding the dress is usually a case of recognizing it once you've tried it on, not knowing ahead of time what you'll wear.

And once you've found it, the dress will offer some big clues about your Romantic style. Captured by a demure ivory gown covered in Alençon lace, with a button-back closure? Start your search with pastels and neutrals that suit a 1930's vintage or feminine garden wedding. Fell hard for a sleek, diamond white v-neck that's all about the lines? Investigate the crisper, more playful palettes we see today, such as black and white, aqua, bright pinks, lime green and corals.

Seasonal

Adjust for Geography, Venue and Season

Now that you've unearthed your personal style, it's time to look outward. If your style's traditional, for example, start with a hotel ballroom. If you want a strong seasonal feel for fall, try a rustic barn. Cultivated gardens go well with traditional, Martha-esque tints. Tents weddings are a blank slate: you can make them as classic or brazenly modern as your heart desires.

Geography, too, plays a role in your colors. Tropical affairs in the blinding sun are often showcases for the brightest hues of all: coral and orchid, for example, or aqua and orange. Evening white-tie affairs in New York City? Not so much.

Many brides are in the middle, and want to weave in at least a seasonal hint. Fortunately for them, most seasons have palettes both traditional and modern. For example, a classic summer wedding might feature cornflower blue or sage, where a modern one draws on fuchsia and lime green, or orange, pink and black.

Even flowers help set the style. For example, a profusion of pinks in a bouquet of roses and peonies says English cottage. Mini-sunflowers and chrysanthemums says New England country. On the other hand, the color blocking in a hand-tied bouquet of purple callas is strongly modern.

Essential Color-Choosing Tools

Now you've got a style in mind, let's get to the art of actually picking colors. Here are a few can't-miss tools:

Color Schemer. You'll need to create a free account, but this wonderful site has user-created palettes aplenty that you can search by keyword. Once you've registered, hit the "search schemes" button and enter words that fit your vision, like "fall,""garden," "sunset," "winter." Or free-associate with adjectives like "nautical," "peaceful," "modern," "preppy" or even "trendy." We promise, you'll be hooked.

Sherwin-Williams Color Generator. Hit their site, and choose "FIND COLOR." Click on any color that draws you, and you'll automatically pull up two accent colors that complement it. Cool.

Big Huge Labs Palette Generator. Have a photo on your hard drive that seems to capture your wedding's heart and soul? Upload it to a palette generator, which will kick out most of the main hues involved. Unless you're on the beach, use one of the more neutral, calming colors as a primary (e.g., use it for bridesmaids or table linens), and the more nervous, high-energy colors as accents (use these in table napkins, chair sashes, ribbons, and some of your flowers.)

Make a Mood Board. Once you've narrowed down some favorites, start grabbing photos (for your own personal use, of course). Make a special folder on your hard drive, and save photos that seem to fit the colors, setting and season you're going for. If you've got any photo editing software, start putting them together in one big image. This will tell you more than thousands of words how your look will play out.

Purple Green

Making the Most of Your Choices

Now that you've got your colors, how can you really make them shine? A problem that plagues some brides is an oversized fear of chaos. Although it's simple, most weddings aren't at their best when the groomsmen's vests and ties exactly match the bridesmaids' gowns, which in turn match the bride's sash.

So, choose your colors wisely and stick with them, but strive for designing more than matching. Brown and ivory are neutrals when chosen thoughtfully, so use their many shades for a sophisticated, monochromatic look. If the bridesmaids wear mocha or persimmon, the men will look great in chocolate brown. And even if the flowers call for a palette of orange and yellow, let a little green or cream sneak in for dimension. Check for too much of a good thing: when the entire wedding party wears matching brown or black, the effect can be overpowering.

And They Lived Happily Ever After ...

When all's said and done, you're sure to have a great feeling about your colors, and how they fit your personal style. Even if the scheme you hit on isn't "I've loved that all my life!", it might be "I never would have thought of that, but I love these together!"

Picking your colors is a journey, just like finding the dress, or knocking all those planning items off your checklist. But hitting on the right colors, theme and setting for the ultimate expression of your own Romantic style? That can be the pleasure of a lifetime.

Hello! I am getting married on May 30, 2009! I am unsure of what color scheme to go with. Me and my future husband love color! My favorite colors include green, yellow, orange, blues…pretty much all colors! But at the same time, I like romantic colors, or a bright color with like a brown. I am frustrated. I have thought of terracotta, Clover green&Navy Blue, and canary yellow for “theme colors” My fiancé is in the United States Marine Corps, and he will be wearing his dress blues. Do you have any ideas on what colors will go well with his uniform, and the season of the wedding? The wedding will be indoors. Thank you for your help.

sarah, hi! i love the idea of the blue and green as main color scheme and since you want it romantic then lighten the colors.

the rule is pick no more than 3 colors, so it wont look like its to busy. i would have the girls in either pale blue or a beautiful multi shade bouquets agaisnt it, is one idea. like a pale mix of your fave colors wrapped by the color of the bm dress.

* Eclectic Blue, Gold & Green Wedding

* Understated Elegance: blue and green

* Board: Aqua Blue & Apple Green

* Board #116: Sweet Tarts for Sweethearts ( this is to give you a look at how the multi colors will look and personally against a brown dress would be beautiful!!

i hope this helps!but to have your groom stand out in his uniform yet blend, i would omit the navy blue on the bm. just for this one.

Hi, can anyone help????

I’m having a Spring wedding (early May) and for some reason am struggling for colour ideas. The venue has maroon in the plates etc so I dont want anything that will clash. I’m totally opposed to having pink but are there any other colours which are Spring like but which would go nicely with maroon.

nicky, i love the blue and maroon, or you could put just a cream wedding with amazing spring cream flowers and lots of hanging greens like amaranthus. i gave you some pics to poder over. the yellow against burgundy red would also work for maroon, this is a more elegant idea. add lots of greenery. i am just totally fascinated with this blue and maroon wedding, its so pretty and it works so well!! you could dress this up or down, by the type of place settings etc, you use. also dont 4get about lighter purple it will go too.

some ideas!
* blue and maroon wedding inspiration board

* striking purple & orange wedding

* Wedding Wednesday: burgundy & aqua (love this!!)

* Wedding Wednesday: Maroon, yellow & pink ( i know this is pink but its so pretty instead change pink to peach or apricot to get the same feel)

the fabric is taffeta….most likely iridescent taffeta. Not sure what the name of the color would be, though.

hi, i didnt find the exact dress or color but over at jim hjelm occasions, look under satin faced taffeta and silk shantung. both of those dresses have the sheen. i will keep looking but, to me, it looks like the taffeta. maybe blake will see this and know for sure. i have researched everything and cant find any info. wish i could help more. another idea is to print pic and bring to a bridal salon. i am pretty sure they will say taffeta.
jcrew.com has taffeta dresses that might fit the bill in assorted colors!!

Joy, how about this?
* Emily’s Green and Gray Wedding
* Life’s a Beach

you could just add blue ribbons and/or blue and green hydrangeas together with the green and white palette and grey.

I am getting married in May 2009 in philadelphia in a lush outdoor garden patio of an old mansion. I originally wanted a tropical color theme and I still do but I need help with making it work. I also have a soft romantic side so my thoughts are this…grey and cream (or champaign) as my main two colors. After that I am lost. I love the combo of canary yellow, lime green, coral and sky blue. I was thinking about having my 4 bridesmaids be in these 4 colors and the groom & groomsmen wearing cream/ivory suits (no clue on the tie or shirt color yet..maybe green?). If I don’t have the girls in differnt color dresses I don’t know which one to pick as my next most prominent color (either yellow, coral or green). And if I do have them each in different dress colors, will a tropical mix of flowers be too much? I want to keep it classy, but fun. Please help!

Melinda, here are some ideas:

* Green & Blue: for my maid of honor
* Board #117: Amanda’s Blue & Yellow Wedding
* Board #97: Tanya’s Green Wedding ( love the idea of incorporating the coral in the food, this is a way of going with a grey and cream wedding and add pops of colors)
* Board #167: Springtime Party ( love this so much!!)

okay go with a simple grey and cream wedding and add the other colors in the flowers and greenery. i would put the girls in the sky blue and have guys in (well since its a tropical theme grey suits with a sky blue tie) grey and blue look great together. dont feel everything has to be every color everywhere touches will also give you what you want!!

Snippet & Ink boards: Gray and Yellow, Marigold and Gray, Life’s a Beach, Purple Rain ( see how color pops with this!! smile!! just do a neutral background add the pops of color like i advised)

i really think the next one is the winner see how it has the grey and blue in it. i will find you a bouquet that works! i loveeee this!! Maui Wedding

And see Tropical Beach Wedding, Blue & Orange, and J+J’s Storyboard from WeddingBee. ( bouquets something like this against the blue tie off with grey ribbon)

Plus Coral Wedding Color Palettes, A Summer Wedding, Spring Fling ( add romantic grey to this)

Board #8: Shipwrecked ( i think this board relays what your looking for also. a simple grey and cream background with touches of the color instead of the pastels use tropical colors)

i sure hope all this helps. you can make it work but it will take some putting elements in right places. but i love the girls in sky blue against the grey. ans the rich colors of the tropics will lend an amazing look to this!!! just keep the greys in the ribbons and the suits. i wouldnt go overboard with this color. my main color would be cream, and sky blue. let me know what you think!!!

i would add pops of dark red roses to this combo or some red somewhere but dont do the whole teal and red combo, i think with the carpet you need subtle. keep flowers in venue in whites and maybe a few flowers with reddish centers but muted. some white roses have this, and its gorgeous. if its reddish pink that is okay. it will work. google image teal wedding and teal wedding board and teal wedding board snippet and ink. but i loveeee the teal and gold with pops of reddish color. write back if you need more help!!

Hello,

So my husband and i are renewing our vows due to the fact that we didn’t get to have the wedding we wanted because he was deploying to Iraq. So this is going to be the wedding we didn’t and couldn’t have. I know that we are going to have a beach wedding, the date is September 12, 2009. I’m just confused on a color scheme. i have already changed colors once and i think i’m driving my wedding planner crazy. our first color scheme was tropical colors: pink, orange, yellow, lime green and white, but now i’ve changed to cobalt blue, pool blue, seafoam green, tan, and white, i think that these colors are beautiful with the ocean. i just don’t want to use too many colors. my husband is in the United States Marine Corps and he is going to be wearing his dress blues along with his four groomsmen and his best man will be wearing his Army dress uniform and our ringbearers will be wearing kid’s USMC dress blues. Can you please help me on a color scheme before i go crazy.

Hot Pink, Blue, and White Wedding Colors

Board #218: New England Beach Wedding

Wedding Wednesday - A Delicate Light Blue Wedding

The Beach Chic Preppy Wedding ( i love this!)

Also see Jodi and Aaron in Baja, Mexico at brides. i know its white but on the beach that is an amazing color. it stands out and is easy. and with the uniform blue color it would be smashing. have girls in a lighter blue and girls carry yellow flowers. then add tons of white flowers have beige and white reception background with blue containers full of white and yellow flowers and lots of greenery. you carry a blue bouquet. (for something blue)

i think white would be great because it wont compete with the natural colors. thats why i also love pale creamy yellow alot of beach weddings have creamy yellow cause it compliments all teh blue in the ocean and sky. if you dont like what i sent try a blue and green wedding. i will look for more posts. be right back.

oh!! i gave other color ideas for you to look at. by the way what is your fave color? your fh? and your fave flowers? let me know because that might be all the color scheme/flowers you need. i am here to help!! :D in any way i can.

Floral Arts Bahamas, scroll to #’s 9, 10, 11 pics. this is the simple i mean can punch it up say if you use navy and pink, with simple pale pink and white orchids. i hope i am not confusing you!! i am just thinking of alot of color schemes and giving examples for each. you really dont need alot of colors.

if you dont want to use combos i sent or your fave colors. consider this: you changed color schemes twice!?! okay, narrow it down by choosing one color along with white from your first color scheme and then 1 from your second color ideas. say…seafoam and yellow(for example only).

Blue & Yellow Preppy Wedding

Board #81: Anje’s Modern Romance (this is unusually pretty)

hope all this helps!!!

i was thinking why not choose pale yellow, blush pink, and see where the girls bouquets are wrapped with a darker color why not tie that subtle combo off with the antique muted red. against the grey i really think these colors would be dynamite. why choose just two? unless that is what you really wanted. if so go with the pink and grey. the board that i love so much are the colors i would do (for the 2 color combo)

Breeze fabric swatches ( see square two, heres the antique red i am talking about to use in the ribbons)

i do love the navy and gold for accent would you consider this green? or even a light blue to the mix for effect? if not, navy and gold will be superb, didnt find a whole lot i thought, i would just get you to google image navy blue wedding and navy blue wedding inspiration board. i think a neutral background of the gold and white (if your going for a more elegant statement) and have blue in the cake the wedding party and the ribbons on the white rose bouquets with gold wedding bouquet jewelry. think having a monogram theme for this wedding. that would make it superchic! and easy for a theme thruout.

but i do hope you consider the greenery cause you could sure do arches and other decor in simple white roses and that green in the pic.

My daughter is getting married and her husband to be has to have this vibrant electric pumpkin orange for vest.

As for time of year, no definite date set yet, between April and sept of next year. semi -formal wedding, at a golf course, may use their clubhouse, or put up a tent. depending on capacity, 130-275 people. 4 attendants on each side. 3 flower girls two ring bearers. No flower choices yet. groom love to stand out — vibrant colors. wears items no one else wears. :P

can you please tell me what colors coordinate with vibrant orange? With this should the girls be in black and just carry flowers with orange in it?

thanks Deenie

MyEcoChic Wedding ( scroll down to Orange & Brown Fall Wedding)
Style Fragments | Glamazon (this is so elegant!! love touches of blue added)
Elucky Designs (scroll down to Florida in the Fall 1 & 2)

google image (for more pics) orange wedding, then orange and gold wedding, and orange with other combos like blue and orange and green and orange wedding also google image brown and orange wedding. Also see Faye & Greer Orange & Chocolate ( this is so chic it aint it!!)

heh again, i would not put girls in orange. i would do as i suggested before, go with a simple wear again green or brown dress, consider even pink or light blue.(depends on color of venue) no sash. pair beautiful orange and coral or pink roses against it tied with same color of dress ribbon. bride carry the white roses tied with orange ribbon to keep in step with groom. keep it classic, simple. put guys in brown suits if you dont like that put them in khaki or beige colored suits even the groom. small attendents in white dresses with sash color of bm dress. ringbearer in same as gm. all decor should be simple like different shades of orange pale to deep with LOTS of white and greenery. Junebug Weddings | Constance & Paul

i have one more site. theknot.com (you will have to register but it is worth it.) when you log in at top click real weddings it will pull up a page you can browse by color even orange!! after your done looking at this amazing website check out kelly and jared. i love this too.

hi there

i’ve finally decided on the colors. i am thinkin aqua and brown with a touch of red n maybe some gold(optional). now i am askin for some help how to put this in practicality. i kno i want to accentuate my out fit by wearin either red or aqua shoes. i want my centre pieces very simple. jus either very long vases with fake snow in it (or water) and some white calla lillies combined with red roses or some big short jars filled with sand n some shells with either red aqua candles inside. it can be either one of those centre pieces or both combined from one table to the other tho am jus not sure abt the fabric on the table maybe u can advise me on that.i’ve put the cake photo i like, i am jus worried abt the groom and the best men’s outfits. how will i dress them. they are dark so the color combination is very important. pliz help me on this one. am stuck. and let me kno what u think of the colors i ve picked my weddin is in feb, 2009 and i ve clearly run out of time. thanks in advance.

kayla, its gonna be difficult to put red with the cake style and make it work but i will try. first keep with a brown and aqua wedding.keep the red in touches like bouquets, the cake. this will work better with the added red. choose calla lilies only put in aqua glass containers or tint the water a pale (not deep) aqua blue.

use brown and aqua where you planned to like programs, invites, monograms ribbons., like put these containers on brown linens it will be classier. option also put brown pebbles in bottle of container, if you dont like this consider aqua glass pebbles as in pic above. put red calla lilies on your cake. axe the color ribbon shown and keep it white, keep the gold or silver only in utensils you use so the colors wont clash.

put girls in brown carrying red calla lilies with white ribbon, you carry white calla lilies with pale aqua ribbon or plain white (also your something blue) again for classiness.narrow down to 1 flower, so it will be uncluttered. . put guys in classy brown. it wont be to dark if you add white shirts and brown ties, axe the vest so more of the white will show.red calla lliy bout. groom put him in same suit and give him a white bout.

if youd rather carry red bouquet give girls white calla’s and adjust the men groom with red guys with white. put flower girl in white carrying a basket with bolder color. i dont know the formality of your wedding so i am assuming simple? hope this helps this was kinda difficult but i hope something i found helped!! smile! i spent ALOT of time researching this one and there isnt a whole lot on this combo. mixed with the brown i mean!! thats great! you may set a trend!! congrats!! if you dont like what i have sent then let me know i want to help you figure this one out. please write me back with the colors you wanted your bridal party in etc. in the mean time favor ideas has a aqua blue wedding site you might enjoy!! if you can give me a rough pic of your ideas we can go from there and give you the wedding of your dreams!! as for me though, keep it mainly white and brown with the aqua water and red here and there. i hope blake reads this post, always has fantastic ideas!!

hi stacy

i finally got a chance to get some time to go through all the stuff u sent me.

i love the centre piece ideas, jus love that idea. its great. i also got some great decor ideas. i also think i can pull off the cake, was thinkin makin an aqua cake with one brown line on each tier and then throw a bit of red roses or calla lilles here and there or l’ll think of something. touch of red must definitely be there. for my bouquet, i liked both ideas but i was thinkin of say maybe carryin red calla lilles with an aqua ribbon, even if it jus one flower.

am jus worried abt swapin colors of bonquets with my gals. how abt if they carry aqua flower with a touch of red ribbon. am not so worried abt the gals, what i need is help with the guys and the groom. am an african. so let me jus give u a brief view of the whether durin my wedding. it will be during the rainy season or jus towards the end of that season, so the weather is quite unpredictable. but it will definitley be an indoor wedding. i want it simple but elegnant, my theme is afro-centric. its a combinations of our african fashion and the western world’s fashion. i am so greatful for the solid ideas u’ve given me, but am now askin that u help me with my bridal party combo’s. they are all on the darker side except me and one of the best men. so i need colors that will wk for them(gals n guys). somethin that will compliment the whole group.brown is ok but am sure it has to be accampanied by a bolder color. they whole ensmeble has to make a statement and i trust u can help me with that. plizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. i’ll forver be grateful. lookin forward to hear from you.

hi kayla, i think i have it!!! do the simple brown and aqua overall theme, hands down this is your main color scheme. do the centerpieces like i said but in white and red calla’s. in the aqua water centerpieces i told you about. add brown pebbles to anchor so will not look 4th of july. keep the tablecloths in brown. it will be a bit of aqua thru the water. if its not enuf aqua or red have aqua table runner. do the cake exactly like you said. now for the bridal party. :D put the girls in aqua (as long as it matches your venue) and guys in brown suits with aqua vests, ties, the works. add red callas for the girls and red and white callas for you. tied off with aqua ribbon for you, and red, brown or white ribbon for them.i prefer brown. i think brown ribbon would anchor it. if this dont work, then keep guys in brown girls in brown and add colored sashes. and match guys ties or vests to this. let me know which one you like. i have been all over the web today for more inof. but to no avail. :( this would be a great theme to add info to on the web, especially with the added brown. good luck!!!!

I just wanted to add a few pics of aqua, red and brown (since Stacey was so complimentary :D ). There is a LOT of great info here already — thanks Stacey! Here is just a few more links to check out.

If you haven’t seen them already, go to Thryn and Gabe’s aqua, red and brown wedding, Lyndsey and Matt (red and aqua), and the inexhaustable Red and Aqua Weddings resource page by Liza. Only a touch of brown in that last one but TONS of inspiration!

Yetunde, I think that yellow and orange wouldn’t fit well with a January wedding. Champagne, though, would be fantastic!!

yetunde, yes it definitely will work i want you to google image winter wedding yellow and peach and go straight away to the 2nd pic (LUCY AND SAM…….2005). use this as your bouquet and give a solid color like peach for bm. then keep reception centerpieces simple in one color in glass containers. its under bloomin lovely flowers. and use this as your guide.

i dont know where you are from and if you can use evergreens but if not use tons of greenery. make sure the yellow is an ice yellow, keep the peach in the elegant pale range. and add pops of a more winter orange say a icy orange or tangerine orange, this works because peach and orange are in the same family. nothing to bright. put this against champagne bridesmaid dresses. keep the wedding background neutral. in champagne and whites with greenery. have a frothy punch. add crystals to all the decor. your local hobby lobby should have garlands and/or sprays. keep it shimmery. have your cake with shimmer like edible glitter. google image edible glitter winter wedding cake. then glitter cupcake for pic example.

hope this helps. i have seen a winter decor in these colors it is unexpected, fresh, and just happy and gorgeous!! i do have another idea: google image bi color roses yellow then bi color roses peach. just for an idea of how all colors can be in one rose. for example tahitian sunset rose. let me know how ya like it!! :D

yetunde, also google image peach orange wedding bouquet i love 2nd row 1st pic, from floralmasters. just make sure the flowers are in season its cheaper. then google search winter wedding recption last 2 rows both 4th pic. this is the ambience i see for you. see the champagne and white wedding and the other with the candlight i can just see it now with crystals carefully placed.like your florist gluing a sprinkle of clear rhinstones on 1 petal of each of your flowers. it adds impact.

I am in the process of planning an April wedding, but having a difficult time choosing colors. I like copper, but don’t know how to accent it..I also like dark peach. What are your suggestions????

la neice, check out the sonata wedding bouquet from brides.com (attached) use this bouquet as your theme and guide. bm carry this. you carry the white bouquet. or ivory.

i love the copper and dark peach wedding color scheme. this is sooooo pretty. put girls in brown or the dark peach. have everything else in the ivory/white flowers and greenery. candlelight. keep it simple and have the wedding party as the main decor.

google image copper colored wedding reception 1st pics for an idea. and also 4th row 2nd pic — i think all creamy white or ivory candles accented with golds. Then google image copper bridesmaid dress.

Oh, and consider adding pops of pale yellow to the mix if ya like. :D
