Choosing Your Wedding Colors: A Guide for Designing Brides

There's no question: choosing wedding colors is one of the earliest, trickiest tasks a bride has to cross off the list. You can't even talk your florist until you've worked this out.

And even if you're getting the cake from Ron Ben-Israel, he's not going to ask you whether your wedding theme draws elements from 14th century Venetian court dress ... he'll ask you about your colors.

A mere generation ago, planning the wedding was a lot easier. It expressed your social class, and your parents' tastes. Even if they had particular ideas, the market couldn't offer much in terms of individual design. But these days, your wedding expresses your personal style in a way it never has before. Translation? The pressure's on!

Sussing Out Your Style

Some brides can solve the color question without thinking too much about style. They might have a life-long love for purple. Or, their venue might have strong hues they need to coordinate with. Or, when they picture their wedding, they already see their bridesmaids awash in certain colors. Easiest of all: sometimes they already have a theme in mind.

For others, it's not that simple. Still, you can quickly pin down the styles that get your heart beating almost as fast as your fiancé does. Does Martha Stewart's relaxed, preppy look command your undying devotion? Do you pray you can someday actually subscribe to H&M magazine? Did Vera Wang's modern, moody Bolshevik collections incite heavy breathing? This gives you some major clues.

Home Decor

Destination: Home, Sweet Home

Still, even if you don't consider yourself a fashionista or a Martha devotee, all's not lost. Instead, let's turn our eyes back to home and hearth.

Many brides aren't just looking forward to a wedding, they're also buzzing with anticipation over the dream house they plan to share with their beloved. And in the process of hunting down this love nest, most spent lots time mulling over their personal style. What did you picture in your mind's eye as the right setting for your new life together? A rangy colonial with a gabled roof? A warm, log-sided farmhouse with a wood stove in the kitchen? Or did you dream of finding a downtown loft bursting with recessed lighting and monochromatics, and flip through the new IKEA catalog to pick out your cabinets?

Or consider: do you dream of filling your home with antiques you can pass down to your children? Look to seasonal-inspired color schemes and ballrooms. Plan to drape your bedroom ceiling in yards of mosquito netting? A fairytale wedding drenched in candelabras, gold braid and gauzy swags might fit the bill. Collect exotic objects from all over the planet? Try an art museum for your setting, and a sophisticated or daring palette.

And if you're one of those eclectic types who pairs Amish rocking chairs with aboriginal artifacts, use this old designer trick: think of the last bit of art or furniture you bought to spruce up your house. That tells you what's on your mind lately.

Pink & Champagne Wedding

Your Secret Romantic Style

So, you know your domestic style is Eclectic Contemporary. Congratulations: that means you're holding a black-and-white wedding with chartreuse accents and ostrich feathers in a huge SoHo loft, right?

Hold it: not so fast. Why? Because many brides have a special romantic style that exists in a universe by itself. You might be thrilled picking out Art Deco style spaceships for your pendant lighting. And yet, when it comes your wedding, you might picture something a lot more traditional.

So even if you're the most fashion-forward girl on the block, take a moment to consider whether your wedding vision doesn't actually go back in time by few hundred years. You might secretly harbor a special place in your heart for New England autumns, Victorian elegance, English cottage style, or even timeless fairy tales. And if that's true, rest assured you've got plenty of company.

The Gown's the Guide

But how do you tell if this stylistic gotcha's operating in your case? Here's the secret: go get your dress.

For many brides, The Dress is a journey that starts with many preconceptions, but ends in the unexpected. Finding the dress is usually a case of recognizing it once you've tried it on, not knowing ahead of time what you'll wear.

And once you've found it, the dress will offer some big clues about your Romantic style. Captured by a demure ivory gown covered in Alençon lace, with a button-back closure? Start your search with pastels and neutrals that suit a 1930's vintage or feminine garden wedding. Fell hard for a sleek, diamond white v-neck that's all about the lines? Investigate the crisper, more playful palettes we see today, such as black and white, aqua, bright pinks, lime green and corals.Seasonal

Adjust for Geography, Venue and Season

Now that you've unearthed your personal style, it's time to look outward. If your style's traditional, for example, start with a hotel ballroom. If you want a strong seasonal feel for fall, try a rustic barn. Cultivated gardens go well with traditional, Martha-esque tints. Tents weddings are a blank slate: you can make them as classic or brazenly modern as your heart desires.

Geography, too, plays a role in your colors. Tropical affairs in the blinding sun are often showcases for the brightest hues of all: coral and orchid, for example, or aqua and orange. Evening white-tie affairs in New York City? Not so much.

Many brides are in the middle, and want to weave in at least a seasonal hint. Fortunately for them, most seasons have palettes both traditional and modern. For example, a classic summer wedding might feature cornflower blue or sage, where a modern one draws on fuchsia and lime green, or orange, pink and black.

Even flowers help set the style. For example, a profusion of pinks in a bouquet of roses and peonies says English cottage. Mini-sunflowers and chrysanthemums says New England country. On the other hand, the color blocking in a hand-tied bouquet of purple callas is strongly modern.

Essential Color-Choosing Tools

Now you've got a style in mind, let's get to the art of actually picking colors. Here are a few can't-miss tools.

Color Schemer

You'll need to create a free account, but this wonderful site has user-created palettes aplenty that you can search by keyword. Once you've registered, hit the "search schemes" button and enter words that fit your vision, like "fall,""garden," "sunset," "winter." Or free-associate with adjectives like "nautical," "peaceful," "modern," "preppy" or even "trendy." We promise, you'll be hooked.

Sherwin-Williams Color Generator

Hit their site, and choose "FIND COLOR." Click on any color that draws you, and you'll automatically pull up two accent colors that complement it. Cool.

Big Huge Labs Palette Generator

Have a photo on your hard drive that seems to capture your wedding's heart and soul? Upload it to a palette generator, which will kick out most of the main hues involved. Unless you're on the beach, use one of the more neutral, calming colors as a primary (e.g., use it for bridesmaids or table linens), and the more nervous, high-energy colors as accents (use these in table napkins, chair sashes, ribbons, and some of your flowers.)

Make a Mood Board

Once you've narrowed down some favorites, start grabbing photos (for your own personal use, of course). Make a special folder on your hard drive, and save photos that seem to fit the colors, setting and season you're going for. If you've got any photo editing software, start putting them together in one big image. This will tell you more than thousands of words how your look will play out.

Purple Green

Making the Most of Your Choices

Now that you've got your colors, how can you really make them shine? A problem that plagues some brides is an oversized fear of chaos. Although it's simple, most weddings aren't at their best when the groomsmen's vests and ties exactly match the bridesmaids' gowns, which in turn match the bride's sash.

So, choose your colors wisely and stick with them, but strive for designing more than matching. Brown and ivory are neutrals when chosen thoughtfully, so use their many shades for a sophisticated, monochromatic look. If the bridesmaids wear mocha or persimmon, the men will look great in chocolate brown. And even if the flowers call for a palette of orange and yellow, let a little green or cream sneak in for dimension. Check for too much of a good thing: when the entire wedding party wears matching brown or black, the effect can be overpowering.

And They Lived Happily Ever After ...

When all's said and done, you're sure to have a great feeling about your colors, and how they fit your personal style. Even if the scheme you hit on isn't "I've loved that all my life!", it might be "I never would have thought of that, but I love these together!"

Picking your colors is a journey, just like finding the dress, or knocking all those planning items off your checklist. But hitting on the right colors, theme and setting for the ultimate expression of your own Romantic style? That can be the pleasure of a lifetime.

  2. Stacey,

I am getting married in November 2011 and I would appreciate any advice on colors and themes. We are having the wedding in a villa in the Dominican Republic so I would like something bright that stands out. The villa is a mix between Italian and Caribbean so I want the theme to support that..I think..? The weather is perfect that time of year, not too hot and not too cold. I have never been to a wedding or helped plan one so I am L O S T! Thank you soo much!!

    Hi Stacey,

My fiance and I are planning to get married in Michigan on October 8, 2011. I love the fall season; however, I’m not too much of a “fall color person” when it comes to all of the colors I use/wear in my own life! I’m more of a pink(s)/turqouise, etc type person. Do you have any suggestions of what we could do color wise that isn’t really orange/browns/halloween etc? Thanks! :)

Hi I have come up with some ideas and found a lot of pics since the ones you sent. I’m going to have the bms wear tiffany blue dresses and I love the idea of manzanita branches on larger tables with small glass votives hanging. looks perfect for a masquerade wedding. found some cool ideas for invitations as well .
    thanks
    Dani

      Dani,
It was my pleasure! I wish you all the best!! :D

        Stacey,
Hi I’m having trouble finding tiffany blue bm dresses. wondering if you knew some colors that matched tiffany blue on some sites.or have seen any dresses. I would like them to be long if possible because all my bms are such a difference in size i thought long and flowing would be pretty. the wedding is at twilight. it is hard finding a lot of things on masquerade ideas it always shows mardi gras which i definitely don’t want. i did find the manzanita branches for cheap on a site called save on crafts so that was cool they have a lot of stuff on that sight.
        thanks
        Dani

        • Stacey@FavorIdeas

          Dani,
It is very difficult to match colors on the computer. Sometimes they are lighter or darker. Some places, aqua can be a match. I would check out best bridal prices, mori lee, alfred angelo, davids bridal, bari jay, etc. Mori Lee has some beautiful dresses…chiffon would be a flowing fabric. Look on brides website and look at lsit of designers for bm dresses. It covers alot of ground. If you cant find tiffany blue dresses, look at black it would be stunning and wear again friendly.

        • dani

ok thanks I will check those out

  5. JaLa

Getting married in November at a Historical Opera House..trying to decide on colors in keeping with a Vintage Theme. Any centerpiece ideas?

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

      JaLa,
Could I get a look at your venue? I can see what it needs, also the colors you like. Thanks!

      • JaLa

        Dear Stacy,

I am sending you the link for the Los Gatos Opera House which can be accessed at:http://www.operahouseeventsite.com. The colors would include red and wanted to know what you thought. Perhaps a golden color and would like to keep a vintage theme. Would you recommend covering the chairs, renting Chiavari chairs or leaving as is. Thank you for your help.

        • Stacey@FavorIdeas

          Jala,
I wouldn’t rent chair covers, the chairs are beautiful the way they are, compliment the setting well. I am actullay glad you said red, because the lighter colors seem to fade into the background. A golden color like a champagne would be soooo beautiful and vintage. This is what I was thinking…

Hi Stacey, I greatly appreciate your input – What are your thoughts on ice sculptures and chocolate fountains? Also, would you recommend low floral arrangements in vintage vases or tall arrangements? or would you recommend tall vases and low vases?

        • Stacey@FavorIdeas

          Jacquie,
Ice sculptures and chocolate fountains are a great idea with fresh fruits for dipping. You could have a ice sculpture that has a beverage flowing on it. Some use those to lay shrimp etc. on as a display. I think tall centerpieces would compliment the room. it is a large room with tall ceilings and it would help fill the room up.

        • Jacquie

          Dear Stacey,

Thank you so much for your response – it is greatly appreciated. We will be in touch. Jacquie

Hi! I’m getting married 14th october 2011 in a hotel which used to be a coach inn. I’m a bit lost in what kind of colour sceme i could go for. My hubby to be and i thought of red and white…but not to sure now. Please can you help me?

    Stacey,

Need help trying to plan our masquerade ball wedding for Oct. 30th Our colors are tiffany blue deep red and black. any ideas

    Thanks
    Dani

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

Dani, Did you see the other links I gave you? They had a few boards and info that might help. Could you tell me what colors your bridal party will be wearing and what color linens you were hoping for?
      * look how they did this
      * adding black and white damask in the table cards would be nice, black and white damask runner over the aqua,

      • Stacey@FavorIdeas

        Dani,
Can I see a pic/link of your venue? I can see what color linens etc. you may need. Also feather centerpieces would be a great way to pull that in , with all guests having masks, and a mask cake topper.

        • dani

          stacey
I have no idea about bm dresses yet and yea we saw some cool centerpieces with feathers and flowers mixed. my bms will be holding masks instead of flowers. thanks for pics with the colors so helpful. the name of the place is twin oaks garden estate in san marcos ca. click on each photo individually and on the right corner of each pic if you click a next button will pop up. its a large estate ben there since the 1800′s with huge eucalyptus trees everywhere. we were thinking of white linens and using other tones to pop out what do you think. i like the idea of not too much of one color on each table so maybe some of the deep red mixed with the tiffany blue and then accents of black and white and then opposite on other tables? mot too sure still have lots of research to do.
          Thanks
          Dani

        • Stacey@FavorIdeas

          Dani,
Wow that place is fantastic! I can see where you got the masquerade theme. Will be perfect. If it were me I would go with a solid color linen on all the tables.
          * look at this amazing wedding.
I am thinking if you do cylinder vases yu could tint the water blue and place floralytes in the water to really give it effect.
          * like this amazing tablescape( use black instead of brown in linens and sashes) this is perfection for your theme!!

  8. Sandra

Hi! I will get married in November 2011. Does any one have an idea of the best color of that season??

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

      Sandra,
I would base my color scheme on the venue, so it will compliment. There are so many beautiful colors for Nov., mainly fall colors. Deep red is beautiful and burnt orange etc. One of my faves is a simple chocolate and cream. Elegant and suits all year long.

  9. SuLee

Getting married at a country club in August. The club looks like an Italian villa, with a yellow/brown color to walls and chairs. The BM’s are wearing Spiced Wine dresses from JCrew, was thinking of having second color a green, but wanted to add yellow and possibly another accent color to the flowers to give it a pop and colorful for a summer wedding, but don’t want it to look too much? Suggestions?

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

      SuLee,
      * colors like this with alot of greenery, beautiful
Keep it in the wine, red, yellows, corals, pinks, etc. It will be stunning with the setting. Use chocolate linens in the setting to set the wine inspired colors( like the wood tables give) it will flow and be elegant.

        • SuLee

Great, we’re going with the spiced wine/berry color with an apple green..since my dress is ivory, might have the purple and green flower with cream colored flowers as well , with yellow in perhaps freesia for a pop,,,since we’re doing cupcakes, thinking of having a candy buffet,,,but wondering if we need a favor on the tables as well as the candy,,,was thinking of having the place cards made of wildflower seeds to plant later,,,any other ideas for a take home favor if we don’t do the plantable place cards? we want guests to have fun and memories, but also want to watch costs….. Thanks…

      • SuLee

Thank you Stacy, great idea, didn’t think about those colors, but they look beautiful..

  10. behpotun

The skin tones of the bm and the men are black (african). what should the flower girls wear? The wedding is in Kaduna state, Nigeria.

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

      behpotun,
      What is your wedding colors?

      • behpotun

My wedding colors are cranberry red and gold. What should the bridesmaid, the flower girls and the groomsmen wear.

        • Stacey@FavorIdeas

          behpotum,
African Medium Skintones: Red or Gold
          African Dark: Red.

Whichever color the bm’s wear would be what I based the gm on. If the girls wear red( which will be suitable for all the skintones) then you could have the grooms in black with red vests and ties, then have the flowergirl in a red or gold dress with gold or red sash. When looking into gold, finding the right shade will be ideal. Champagne is very nice especially when paired with red florals. If you do this, have gm in black with gold/champagne vests and ties and the flowergirl in cranberry with champagne gold sash. I personally prefer champagne dresses with red florals because it has impact and elegance. Also any color dress with classic black and white tux is ideal. Google image these 2 searches…

  11. Tasha

Hi my wedding is in Dec 2011 and I’m unsure of which colors to pick. I know I want the gm to wear chocolate brown torn between gold & pool for the bm confused :?

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

      Tasha,
It would depend on the colors that work best for them and the look you are after. Gold can be difficult for skintones.
      * dress color tips

      • Tasha

Stacey thanks for your help!!! I recently attended a bridal show and got some ideas on colors. I still want the gm in chocalate brown. Now I’m debating on bm in the same color with pool or eggplant accent. My dress is ivory any suggestions?

        • Stacey@FavorIdeas

          Tasha,
Difficult choice. it depends on how you want your wedding to look. One is a richer deeper timeless color where pool blue is more trendy and a hot ticket at the moment. Both are equally nice. it just depends on the look your after. I would get my bm’s input and see what they think. Personally, I love a solid brown dress, no accent, because they can wear it again and it can be a staple in their closet.

        • Tasha

Stacey, can you please do a color board for me with chocolate brown and ivory. :thankyou:

        • Stacey@FavorIdeas

          Tasha,
          Here is your board.

I love what is going on here, please my wedding will be coming up August 2010, and i have two colors in mind, purple and lilac, or Army green and lemon, dont no what to add that will bring the color out. please advice me. Thanks.

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

      Endy,
What about using purple and green? Such a gorgeous combo! What are your venue colors? Do you have a link or pic? thanks!

  15. Gretch

hello, i am still searching for a good motif or theme. my wedding is being held on May 2011, 3pm it will be in church then the reception at the hotel..Is it ok for dark color during summer? i think dark is good in pictures than light color..i don’t want my wed to be very pale so i prefer dark color especially at night but i want it elegant and classy..What do u think the best color combination? pls help me..thanks

    Gretch

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

      Gretch,
It depends on your venue. If you could post a link so I could see what colors would work. A nightime wedding is usually best with lighter colors because they show up well. Unless you will have lots of lighting. Dark colors are great anytime of year, such as the classics/neutrals( black, red, navy, brown, etc.) Two color schemes that are amazing…brown and cream or black and white or champagne. What colors do you prefer better, that way I can look into that too.

  16. necaise harris

hi i am getting married in august and i do have the colours that i chose however i am having a hard time matching everything together.. can u help plz… my colours are red and gold and my theme is hearts

    • stacey@favorideas

      necaise,
      * some pics
      * this is beautiful and very simple to do-can also use champagne linens and chair covers. For the heart theme I suggest pulling it in your cake, on all paper goods, heart shape favor boxes, have bm in champagne carrying red bouquets and use heart shaped floral bouquets picsk or pin a rhinestone heart brooch on bouquet wraps.

    • Stacey@FavorIdeas

      Necaise,
This is how I would put the colors together. For the heart theme, consider rhinestone heart bouquet picks, heart motif on paper goods or rhinestone heart buckles on the red ribbon, have a wedding cake with tiny hearts on the side or a heart cake topper.

  17. ranae

Could you please tell me of any places in wi that rent linen for the tables, and do you have any pictures of a cupcake cake for my wedding i know this may sound weird but we dont want the traditional wedding cake.

    Thank you

      • Blanca

        • Blanca

Here are pictures of the venue. Please let know your ideas on colors for my summer wedding. Let me know your thoughts. ;)

        • Blanca

          Hi Stacey,

I just wanted to see if you had any ideas for wedding colors based on the pictures I posted of my venue.

          Thanks for your assistance.

        • Stacey@FavorIdeas

          Blanca,
I am thinking the classics like black and white, brown and cream, etc. would work very well. Do you have any fave colors and then I could narrow down some idas.

  19. ashley

hi i am getting married june 25th 2011 and my fiance is a firefighter so we were thinking of the color apple red but i am stumped on what other color to use i was thining of silver but not sure. oh by the way we are getting married at the fire station.

  20. Mary

I need a bit of help. I am getting married in October of 2011, and I am completely lost for colors. Originally we wanted to have a rustic chic barn wedding with a vintage feel using browns and yellows. Unfortunately we can’t use the barn venue anymore so everything has changed. Our new venue (hopefully) is an old inn. I am leaning towards yellow and gray, but those colors are so modern together and a vintage and natural feel is really what we want (simple flowers that look just gathered, mason jar lanterns hanging from trees, jars on the tables with flowers, doilies and chalkboard signs. Is there anyway to make yellow and gray look how we want? Or should we go with a more classic muted pallet of pale pinks, whites, creams, and taupe, and maybe a touch of light blue. I’m so lost with my ideas. Thanks for the help.

  21. Jennifer

Hi! I’m getting married April, 2012 and the wedding and reception will both be on a yacht. I’m having such a hard time trying to decide my colors. I’ve had thoughts about pretty much every color, so I’m down for anything. :D

    • stacey@favorideas

      Jennifer,
What are the colors in the yacht? That would be the palce to look for a color scheme, so it will compliment. You could also take cue from the color of the sky or water. look forward to your reply!

  22. Bobby

    Hi
We am getting married in the summer and we wondered if you could help with our colours: we want something classic and elegant. We do not want wishy washy colours (if that make sense) but at the same time we are not sure bright colours are elegant. if you could suggest a couple of different ideas that would be fantastic. Our venue is http://www.botleys-mansion.co.uk/ Your advice is greatly appreciated

    • Bobby

Sorry I should add we are getting married in a Church and will be using the atrium for our reception and not the green room in the pictures.

      • stacey@favorideas

        Bobby,
If it were me, I would go with a very elegant black and white color scheme. It is timeless and would work very well with this setting. The setting is pretty neutral, so that is in your favor as far as color schemes. With a gorgeous venue, I would just keep it classic and simple ( again with the black and white) and let the venues surroundings shine. When you have such a venue you dont want to distract with loads of colros etc. So your thinking is on the right track!
        * here is a pic with mostly white and pale pinks would look stunning also.

        • stacey@favorideas
        • Bobby

          Hello

We thought about black and white as it can look stunning but my Fiance has just lost a close relative and so not sure having black is too appropriate at the moment. We found a lovely style dessy dress which the girls love the material and style of (http://www.dessy.com/dresses/bridesmaid/2783/) although the colours are limited. One colour called pebble beach look quite good (looks a little dark (silver/gold in colour) then shown in the pictures). I worry that is may not have enough colour but do you think it could work if we have bright flowers. I was thinking orange and maybe pink but keen to hear your creative thoughts or whether we should stick to a dress with more colour

          Thank you so much

  23. Brenda

    Hi

I’m getting married in July 2011 in the beautiful Italy, my colours are as follows, for me ivory dress, my flowers are a combo of pink, purple and cream. My BM/flowergirl dresses are a rich teal green, their flowers are cream with lilac snapdragons. I love this fresh mixture of colours!

    • Brenda

Problem with my laptop, it sent the comment before I stopped writing. I have no ideas for the men, I was thinking navy, but ive no idea really, what do you think? thanks. Brenda

      • stacey@favorideas

        Brenda,
I think navy for the guys would look nice. You could also think of having them in black with teal vest and ties. Another color that would look sharp is charcoal grey.( which I really like) not light grey but deeper grey.

        • Brenda

          Hi Stacey,

thanks for the suggestion, i didnt think of the grey before. advice much appreciated! :)

          Brenda.

Im getting married Sept 24 2011. Im stuck on colours. I was thinking robins egg blue, charcoal and ivory with pink accents. Im also kind of drawn to navy blue and silver with either yellow or light blue accents. What do you think? Can you get me started with some ideas/photos? would you add any different colours in there? thanks!

  26. Summer bride

    Hello:

My wedding is August 2011. I would love to use fuschia, baby pink and lime green. Is this a good combination or a definite no no…? Are these colours ok for a summer wedding? The wedding will be held in Jamaica in a church ceremony followed by the reception in a hotel banqueting room. If the colours are fine, may I please have some ideas for dressing the bridal party. We’ll be having 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, the best man, maid of honour, two flower girls and a paigeboy? Also can I please have some ideas for recption decor. Thanks.

    Hi,
My wedding is in June, still finding it very difficult making up my mind on my color. I love pink and equally love lilac/purple don’t know the colors to match with any of these colors.
My venue will be an open field but will have to use canopies as it will be raining then. Please i need tips on color combos urgently cos everything depends on that.
Secondly, does any one know any safe site i can look up bridal gowns?

My wedding comes on in may 2011. My colors are cranberry red and gold. Its an indoor wedding, the hall is painted light cream. Please suggest the color of the gown, the shoes and hairpiece the bridesmaid will use and also the color of the grooms men. Thanks

      behpotun,
      * some pics to browse
      * decor

I would consider having the bridesmaids in champagne and carry cranberry bouquets. have the guys in black with champagne vest/tie. If champagne doesnt look good with thier skintone put them in cranberry with the guys in black and cranberry. put the groom in black with vest/tie matching your gown.

please can you send me a picture of wine and beige together, thinking of using it as my wedding colour

  30. Tacha

My wedding colors are Jade (dark) and Espresso (brown) from Alfred Angelo. What color flowers should I use? Any suggestions on this color combination?? Please help. I get married May 2011.

    Here is the color Jade

      Tacha,
I would keep the color scheme simple and use creams/whites-posibly mix in some peacock feathers. If you want to add color think pale colors like blush, pale yellow, even creamy orange. If you want bold colors look to fuschia or a shade of pink. It looks fantastic against this color. *TIP when using jade, paler florals work the best because it allows the jade to stand out. IF using green bouquets/florals the jade will only blend in mimicking the floral color.
      * I had to use the closest color( teal) to find decor pics.

:D ;) :P   :? :love2:    more »
