Getting To Know You
Or me. How about we get to know me.
My name is Shanée, pronounced Sha-neigh. When I’m not blogging here, I’m blogging there on my own personal blog. I’m 24, mommy to a 4 yr old from a 1st marriage, and now engaged a second time to the love of my life.
That’s how I ended up here on a wedding blog. I was looking for wedding stuff. Go figure right? LOL. We’ve picked the date of April 21st, 2007. That’s about 6 months away now and we’re still planning. As a matter of fact the only thing we’ve actually gotten checked off the list is the photographer. Important things first was my motto. And as you get to know me you’ll find out how much I love photography and how important it is to me!
I thought about writing out a little paragraph talking about the things I like(photography!!) and my favorite hobbies and stuff like that. But then I realized that if I plan this wedding the way I really want to, then you’ll get to know me by the things I choose or don’t choose depending on what it is. Like I don’t plan on walking down the aisle to the “Wedding March” and we won’t be tossing any garters or throwing bouquets!
To start things off I’d like to let you know that we’ve chosen the colors of the bluest, brightest sky on a spring day and freshly cut grass highlighted by white. That our ‘theme” (I so use that term loosely) is “A Day at the Park”. I’d say more but that’s about all we have for now. I know we’re slackers my fiance and me. I hope this little bit has sparked your interest and that you decide to continue on with me in my journey of the world of weddings. Or that while blazing my path through all the madness, I’m somehow able to you in your wedding journey.
