Home Depot: Wedding Planner Extraordinaire!

I’m sure you all think I’m a bit kooky and that’s your right. But I’m dancing on air because Fiancé and I have finally picked out The Colors that make up our wedding day. And we owe it all to Home Depot.

Oh, I know you thought you only went to Home Depot when it was time to start decorating that house you two bought together. Going there to add your own personal touch to make that house a home. And I’m sure you thought the paint aisle was to help you set the mood in your rooms. To take those walls from boring, basic white, to grand yellow and red. But did you know that the paint aisle also aids in wedding planning?

Yes indeedy … it does! See, Fiancé and I knew we wanted a gorgeous sky blue and a wonderful grass green. Or did we?? What about if it was a little brighter? No, darker? Wait — that’s too dark. Ugh, we needed to see them all together!

Drumroll, please … enter-Home Depot’s paint aisle. Or really any home improvement store that has a paint chip display. Being able to stand there and see ALL the colors laid out was so helpful! Not to mention that they make it easy to find complementary colors. It’s awesome! And it’s FREE! Also they come in handy, adorable little retangles. Easy to tote around in your wedding planner binder.
