“If the shoe fits, wear it”

Or even if it doesn’t but it’s HOT enough, you still wear it.

Anyone else noticed that a growing trend today in wedding shoes is to wear shoes of color? Gone are those classic white heels that your bridesmaids also wore, but got dyed to match their dresses. Oh, yes … they’re gone! (Hopefully for good!)

Now you find cute shoes in lovely colors with decorations. And that might sounds a bit odd, but look here and here! I’ve seen brides sporting both those pairs of shoes. They are cute to see when the bride lifts her lovely white gown and revels the hidden surprise! Why just get a dress with touches of color? Why not keep going and have the shoes to match?

Another idea, if you’re having a western wedding, is to wear boots in colors. Such as these pink ones or these blue ones. Hrm … I wonder if I could wear boots even though I’m not having a western wedding …

And of course, if all that’s just a little too much for you … you could just check out this site for your normal run-of-the-mill white strappy bridal shoes.

I wore red sequin pumps under my white gown for our Reaffirmation Ceremony in honor of my ‘Wizard of Oz’ adoration. :)
