hi analeah. try your local nursery and decorating stores. your florist should be able to help you too. google search rent artificial palm trees and search rent palm trees. i found websites where live or fake range from 200 dollars and up one site had a 600 tag on rentals. they are high but maybe the ezine article for silk tree rentals will help.
if your on a budget google image palm tree wedding centerpiece at the thrifty fun link they show you how to use pineapple and palm tree branches. also think of using the branches to build up your room as your centerpieces in ficus tree size containers. it will be cheaper. and give same effect. you might think i am nuts but if your using a tent or reception area with poles take brown fabric and put around poles and secure branches up top. wrap white lights around pole like palm trees usually are decorated. it will give you what you want without the hefty pricetag. good luck!
